Another excellent video and somewhere I'll definitely be visiting in the future, if only to see the warrior 'Cone-head'.

The Christ's Resurrection church is one of the most impressive examples of Kaunas modernist interwar architecture that has the Unesco World Heritage status (full title of the entry is Modernist Kaunas: Architecture of Optimism). These buildings are the best Kaunas has to offer, but everybody's free to find them charracterless, of course. BTW, there are only five Lithuanian entities on the Unesco World Heritage list, and only two of them are what one could call architectural/urban.
Also, to be fair, football is very small time sport in Lithuania. You will be hard pressed to find any football stickers in Kaunas ;) That stadium is there, sure, who cares, but the main attraction is the arena at 01:10 - it has been selected the best Euroleague basketball venue (read: the best basketball arena in Europe) for a number of years, although it is, of course, multi-purpose. One of all time European basketball greats, Žalgiris Kaunas, plays there.
Best of luck with your channel!

Hi Steve. Go to Klaipeda. There's a little square where "the painter from Austria" was having a speech. J
