I’m so glad that you didn’t go through the cruise line , while it may seem more convenient. With that local tour you are supporting a mom and pop business. And the guide seemed very excited to show his country
Hi!, thanks for sharing! You saved me from getting really car sick on a land tour to the Pitons (I booked a boat tour) and now this nice video gave me great tips as well. Hope you enjoyed your holidays. All the best
I’ve been following you since January 2022 when my husband and I got our fostering license! & funny/crazy story is that my husband lived in St Kitts for 3 months! He was attending medical school in Dominica. Then Dominica got hit with a category 5 hurricane so he had to be evacuated to St Lucia! Since his school was unable to open back up due to the damage he had to finish his last semester in St Kitts. In a cruise ship that would have to leave the dock when tourists came to the island! I didn’t know that we could take a cruise ship and visit both islands he visited under not the best circumstances. Now we will have to look into going thanks to your videos!!
That is a crazy story! So, his last semester was on a cruise ship docked in St. Kitts? Did he get to explore St. Kitts much? Yeah, definitely could cruise to all those places :) and hopefully not during a hurricane 😳 November-April is best time to visit to avoid hurricane season :)
@@HappyHoppe yes, his last semester was on a cruise ship that was docked in St. Skitts. The ship would leave dock in the mornings and just sail close to the dock and would return at night. He only got to explore a bit since he had a lot of classes and studying to do, but he did bring home some souvenirs!! Its on our bucket list go visit the island together!
We are going at the end of 2025. How much time did they give you to get off the bus to take photos and look around a bit? Did you consider taking the train ride? I will be pushing 80 years old. How easy is the terrain for an old timer like me?
Our guide was great and allowed us to go at our pace - it may depend on your tour guide and others on your tour at the pace set. Most of the stops had sidewalks, some just a grassy area, but I would say pretty accessible
A lot of cruises stop here and I’d like to go back at least 2x more, 1x to explore Nevis and another to explore the beaches 🌊 ❤️ It’s a really beautiful island
@@HappyHoppe you should do a top 10 places you want to go back to and 10 you don't. Maybe not a "never go there" but a "go once, then move on" type thing.

Most cruises do partner with local tour companies, but for this island, we were excited to save money and go directly to the local company :)
St Kitts is beautiful island in the Caribbean. ❤❤❤❤
Yeah yeah. Love these episodes. I'm living vicariously through you. How fun!
Glad you’ve enjoyed them :)
Great video! Thank you so much. We are going there with our parents in December. I am keeping your video to show mom.
Enjoy! It’s a beautiful island 🏝️
You’ve done amazing things the past few years but you guys deserve this cruise! Welcome back to traveling
We definitely enjoyed our cruise!
