Hey Ned! Just want to say that my husband and I are really enjoying your videos. They are very informative and entertaining. Your boyish shenanigans crack me up!
I know , catching up on your videos. The brass rings, one with glass? Maybe the other one had glass, wooden spy scope? Sweet bottles and trinkets! What a good day!
Another great viedo Ned. Love the clean up at the end. The sword scabbard looks like a Civil War Officers sword to me. Might want to take it to a Civ expert, could be valuable 🤔
That Goodyear comb is a lice comb. I've dug one c1900. Our rare black glass whiskey is "Imported for C.L. Richard's Honolulu S.I.". The only known "Sandwich Islands " bottle I know of. Two exist, found by Scuba divers in the harbor here. It's a sword chape.
I dug a glazed porcelain square item very similar to the "box" you pick up at 20:46. Mine has a theme of skulls and bones embossed into the mold and I believe it may have been a holy water font for home use. I'm still not sure, but the one you dug is the only other one I've seen in almost 50 years of digging and collecting. Mine has a slot to insert a crucifix at the back upper panel on top.
The one and only Ned...Another fantastic video. I have two of the items that you dug up. Mine is a sheath for scissors and the metal mail opener (antique desk set). And the porcelain piece at the end that has the gargoyles on each side and it's rectangular in shape. It also looks like it is supposed to seating at an opera. Mine still has the gold guilding on it, but I have no idea what it's for. Did anyone else find some buried treasure besides yourself? If so what was it? Also congrats on your rare fleur de lys whiskey. If you find out what the two items are would you please let me know. Take care Ned and be safe✌.
The brass spoons would have had a silver coating. The one comb is a nit comb for lice. The ornate piece of metal maybe a picture hanger. The dolls head is cool it's not a frozen a Charlotte. It's too large. The one piece is the bottom part of a sheath I concur with everyone else.
It's a drag for a sword scabbard. And in killer shape too. The clip is for a garter belt.
That is absolutely the bottom of a Scabbard for a sword. More than likely a military sword
They call it a sword drag - reinforced metal bo9ttom part to a scabbard
probably civil war or western era
Awesome ! Thanks everyone ! Never found one before !!

Ned, you are a hoot!!! I'm gonna keep an eye open for more of your youtubes.
Hey Ned, at 20:48 that porcelain piece represents a fireplace and it was probably a match holder, very collectable.
Another great viedo Ned. Love the clean up at the end. The sword scabbard looks like a Civil War Officers sword to me. Might want to take it to a Civ expert, could be valuable 🤔

Hey Ned! That one thing looks to be like the protective tip of a sabre scabbard made of brass.
Another excellent video dude! Keep coming with it!

That one find looks like a weird knife sheath? To tuck in a boot.
You get some good dig sites. There's a guy on UA-cam called above the plains he gets killer sites too

That handle could be a sheath for a sword what's left of it anyway
The 3erd item is a sword sheath tip to a saber sword
The tip of a sword casing.
The brass handle is the strap end of a saber scabbard
It is the brass tip for a sword scabbard.
💯
Easy, it's a sword scabbard.
The small comb that has teeth on both sides is the lice comb
i would take that amount of water any day on the east coast hip boots and 5 gallon buckets, dig a little bit bail water alot
Hey ned how do I buy bottles from you
Hello how do I buy your bottle
That looks like the bottom end of a sword 🗡 scabbard imo
P.s the 3rd thingermahjig was an knife cover
He'll yeah civil war sword scabbard tip
The"handle"of brass is actually the end of a sword scabbard
Oh Bottle Ned, you are a true light in the darkness! Never stop sharing your bottlegasmic content.
Thing you dont know what it is its for a Sword quiver the bottom at the point!
One piece could hold knife, dagger...
Isnt that red wood recyclable … an artisan could upscale it into something cool
you I'm sure know that's the bottom of a scabbard??Civil war era
scabard guard tip for a sword.
The comb is for Lice. Identical to WW 2 German Army
The thing you didn't know what it was I think it's a and of a Scabbard the thing you put a sword in
1st
With a 5 to 10 year plan like that you better start buying crypto😂
Joseph Stalin had a five year plan.
