  • Robin Midkiff's dearest friends gathered at Punahou School's Thurston Chapel to celebrate her life. Dr. Douglas Hiller spoke of his long link with Robin as they became good friends at their high school graduation fifty-five years ago. He spoke of her generous and caring spirit using many personal anecdotes.
Mary Midkiff Fiedler organized the celebration. Robin's son Erich and daughter Anita were in attendance as was her brother David Midkiff. Robin had a great legacy of volunteer work serving as the President of the Washington Place Foundation and as a Board Member of the Atherton Family Foundation. She was a member of the Daughters of Hawaii and the National Society of Colonial Dames of America. She served as President of the Bishop Museum Board and was also the President of the Mission Houses Museum serving on the Mission Houses Board for eleven years. She was very proud of the Atherton Family Foundation's support for the Polynesian Voyaging Society.
Thank you to Bill Brooks for the use of his original music on this video and to Gaylord Miyata for composing the Punahou 1968 graduation class song 'To Say Farewell'.
