My S22u also improved battery life after resent (2 days ago) update to 6.1. Also.... I was pleasantly surprised that connection speed of android auto increased a lot! Previously it was arrond 30 sec, now it's around 10. This is 1st time in my life when huge update noticeably improves experience. Bravo samsung (for the 1st time)
P. S I even didn't do factory reset.

How did u do the big digital display on your home screen?
should i leave the adaptive battery feature on or off? i just factory resetted, im trying to get the same if not better results than yours
With powersaving on and on 720p i got 8hrs21 min screen on time if u get lower try clearing system cache from bootloader rather then factory resetting. Thankyou appx for the news on s22ultra updates.

What about the Z Fold 5 battery test after One UI 6.1?
After installing the update I noticed overheating and turbo battery drain. I finally understood those people who got those problems. Decided to do a reset and restore with Samsung cloud. Although the day is not over I can already see the battery improvement.

If your phone is behaving normal with decent battery life, you don't have to reset

Can u plz suggest magsafe back cover for s22 ultra? Magsafe back cover which doesnt interfere with the s pen..?
They interfere with spen as there is magnet on the case, I am using pitaka which is one of the best cases and yet s pen does not work
The performance is impressive as well.

before this latestet update my s22 ultra nearly lasted 1/2 a day, now after 6.1 and the newest security update a few days ago my phone lasts almost a full day with no change in usage. Now they need to fix the battery protection bug.

I switched from S22U to S24U but, my wife has the S22U. She noticed that the battery use to drain a lot while on stand by and now is not draining anymore, if we find anything else I'll let you know🙂
But The battery on my s22 base is draining as usual it was draining before update .
Same with my S23 Plus. Before OneUI 6, it used to drain a lot on deep sleep.
Great.. I had just 3 % of stand by drain overnight which is good

Battery performance worse with some bugs here and there... hope the next update fixes it. I am currently in May Patch 2024.
I have the same problem, brother, like many people. I am using s21fe. My battery drains twice as fast in version 6.1, it needs to be fixed urgently
I see lot of improvement on batery side .. I am shocked to see even 55-65% utilization by day end .. usually i endup by 20-30 .. some times even 0 depends on how hardly i use

Mine is heating after the update
Since update on s22 ultra I'm getting 5.45 minutes screen on time but I'm thinking about upgrading next year

Battery is way better on my s22 ultra, atleast an extra hour easily.
Wish it was the same for s23 series
S23u battery life is much worse with oneui6.1

In my case the battery is draining more. I guess you formatted the device after the update. I didn't in my case. That might be the cause.

@@ThePhoneFuel will try. also media play back sound got reduced compare to 6.0. Lagging when swipe up to see opened apps sometimes. Please let us know if you are also experiencing the same.
Lol we shouldn't have to format anything that's alot and inconvenient for users.. they need to optimize properly I charged mine three hours ago and it's at 48 percent.

I sell s22 ultra cuz of this battery problem and buy s23 ultra, as i experienced from s21 ultra, this 6.1 update is the best update so far from samsung, battery improve, buttery smooth, ai features and alot of update features. At last, Thanks samsung

It killed my battery after the update. I charged it to 80%, and after 26 minutes of no use, it drained to 68%.
