I'll be getting a pair of full quill ostrich this year... Love my Prescott bison Tecovas and they are hard to beat for the price. I would LOVE a pair of Lucchese but that $$$.. The Honda 1801 ostrich look very possible also... Keep up the great work
Thanks for this review of upcoming new releases in 2022! I'm looking forward to seeing Black Jack's releases & Heritage boot co., and naturally Lucchese! 👍
Love love love seeing the enthusiasm you bring to us boot connoisseurs . I’m a bit late to this video but 2023 will be the year I purchase my first exotic boots thanks to your encouragement. I’ve been wanting a pair but not sure quite what skin to go with. All my other boots have been the normal genuine typical cow hide but this year I might just end up with some alligator or ostrich ones . Def want an Head-cut alligator pair the most , they look so elegant and menacing at the same time . Cheers and most prosperity to these boot companies and buyers .
I just received and already wearning my first american cowboy boots! Wolverine Rancher Boots, them are Amazing to Work! Greeting from Argentina and Merry Christmas!
Is it just me or do you think cowboy boots have sky rocketed in popularity in the past 2-3 years!?!? I think part is the highest racking cable show of all time... Yellowstone. 😄👍😀Thanks JC for getting us excited for 2022!
@Aaron (We're all going to make it) hahaha wow. I don't know what either of those things are but that's pretty hilarious how some people try so hard to be something they aren't
@Benjamin-jo4rf let people do what they do. Cultures are meant to be appreciated. SOA did the same thing to the motorcycle industry. People bought bikes, rode around with their buddies like they saw on the show, and club numbers climbed because of it. If people buy boots because they like TV shows, maybe one day they try their hand at ranch work. Maybe they don't. Maybe they get into country culture and lifestyles. Maybe they start their own brand. Maybe they don't do any of these things. Regardless, it's good for the culture, the lifestyle, and the people.
I bought my first pair of Tecovas when the company was barely starting. I just have two pair of boots. The Tecovas are my favorite. This year I am a buy two more sets of Tecovas. One exotic and a work boot. I am just waiting for the right time to pull the trigger.
"Hi Jeremiah, Happy christmas and New Years to you, your videos are always great and I really love the cowboy boots behind you in the video, the pair you put in big plan ! Really cowboy, I love the style and the heels ! "
I have really enjoyed my Olathe boots which I found from your channel. Although I love my Lucchese for day to day wear, my Olathe boots are my all terrain, any weather work or play boot. Nice information.
What I am interested I am interested in following are BLACK JACK, LUCCHESE, TONY LAMA, ALVIES, TECOVAS, CUERO. then there is the obvious such as DAN POST, ARIAT and NOCCONA. Guess the hype for Chisos died out.
I met a man today wearing a pair of Noconas. He swears by them. I went to the site and saw how inexpensive they are and am wondering what your opinion is.
I went to boot barn to buy cowboy boots i had no idea how to size boots and boot barn employees sucked, no help whatsoever. I ended up with a square toe double h because that's what fit me but I want a nice pair of alligator Austin's or a smooth ostrich, I don't know how the round toe will fit or what size to buy . I need the full boot experience where should I go.
Yes there will be a chance. I talked to them at a Dallas trade show a week or so ago and they are interested in collaborating with me so it's just a matter of getting the details in order.
I am new to boots and shit but I want to buy some crocodile boots and I just wanted to know good brands to make sure I don't buy anything that isn't worth it. I was actually looking at lucchese croc boots and im glad that they came up as the number one on this list. if anyone recommends some other brand to look at I would appreciate it.
I’ve been Luccesse fan for 36 years. For the longest time that’s the only boot that I would wear. For me there Classic line is the only guality boot they make. There lower priced boots are all over the map in fitment, comfort and quality. They just don’t compare. The problem with Lucchese is you see more of their lower line boots then their higher line boots ……sad! In my opinion Lucchese needs to step up their game or they’re going to find themselves left in the wake of these other manufactures.
There's a cool old school guy in south Texas that I get my Hondo's from. Let's just say I'm not kind to mine, and they won't last to the next generation, but I'll always custom order mine.
what how is tony lama not more loved I'll always be a tony lama and lucchese guy though my uncle and cousin tell me Tecova are pretty comfy stuff, I may or may not try a pair.
I have purchased 5 pairs of Tecovas for me over the past 3 years and also bought 2 pairs for my wife and one for my son (20 years old)...I've Worn Lucchese all my life but to be honest they are making some trash now and it seems you have to spend north of 1K to get the quality we have been used to (over the past 50 years). I have a horse farm so I'm in boots all day every day. I was impressed with Tecovas at first...HAHAHA...then realized why they are so reasonably priced. They are basically a throw away boot. I had 3 resoled and all 3 had a broken shank. The boot is junk for my needs. I have a pair of bandaras and a presott that I wear as a barn boot and they are fine for a cheap boot. My wife only wears her Tecovas going out to see friends or lunch etc and for occasional wear she is fine with them. My son's boots (Bandaras) lasted about 5 months and they were trashed. To be honest he is VERY hard on boots. He is a college student and when he is home visiting he is putting boots through the ringer! He has Nicks Boots and those are great...but he wanted a slip on...needless to say me expecting Tecovas Bandaras to compare to Nicks as a work boot is silly. I'm hunting for alternatives to Lucchese Boots, but have had little luck. I did recently buy a pair of roughout Chisos boots (snip toe- all I wear)...a friend HIGHLY recommended them. I saw a few reviews on that boot and thought for 500 bucks why not. I've had them for about 3 weeks and so far I like them...but then again I liked Tecovas at first. The Chisos feel like very nice quality - night a day from Tecovas but they are quite a bit higher in price but much cheaper than most of our Lucchese boots. I've not tried the other boots you listed here but will certainly research some. I enjoy your videos. I do think for the average person Tecovas may be a good choice. I will give Tecovas credit they have a wonderful marketing campaign (they got me to try them). They are probably fine for the office if you do not wear boots that often, but I would suggest someone fork out the much higher price for better quality. I'm interested in seeing how my Chisos pan out...I'd like to be impressed.
@@madcannagrow2833 absolutely fantastic…in my opinion there isn’t a better boot under 1k. I have boots well above 1k and the Chisos are far better! I just bought the black snip toe. The roughout snip may be the best boots I’ve ever had….and I’m old. Again I have a horse farm I’m not a Coca Cola cowboy.
Tecovas need to ship to Canada! Been eyeing a pair of boots from them for a while but they don't ship outside the US :/ Great video as always Jeremiah!
Black Jack boots are the absolutely the worse boots I have ever bought. I’ll expand on that. While in Fort Worth Texas I went to a local store and decided to have a custom pair of black rough out boots made. Measured and last made to my feet. Excited to get them when they arrived they were made wrong! Wanting a dark mahogany heel and sole they made them in black. Although they were wrong I was going to keep them anyway. Put them on and they fit worse than any Lucchese boots I have off the shelf. Wore them thinking I could break them I couldn’t, my feet fell asleep and was not comfortable. I sent them back twice, first to have the color corrected and then to have them stretched. I have boot stretchers in them and still uncomfortable. I will never buy another pair of Black Jack boots, they’re awful!!!
Not surprised with Ariat being so far behind, they’re the most uncomfortable popular boot. Without a doubt the Nike of the boot brands, more popular than good 🤷🏻♂️
I disagree. I have three pairs of them and they all are super comfortable. Right out of the box. Their cushioning is top notch. Love the Ventek boots. Keeps feet both cool and warm year around.
It's great to see so many good quality boot companies thriving and it's going to be interesting to see what they produce in 2022
Great look ahead! Glad you’re making connections with so many boot makers. Helps us stay in the know! Happy New Year…almost!

It’s great to see boot companies growing. Hondo in Germany, amazing!
I live in Germany super pumped about the hondos let's go 2022 gonna be awesome!!!
Do Germans like western boots? I’m visiting in a few weeks and thinking of wearing a pair.
Creating some serious enthusiasm for the new year!! You go boot makers and you go boot buyers, and of course you go Jeremiah!!

I wish a company would produce an old school lace up roper that has a leather sole like back in the day. They are my favorite.
Thanks for the 2022 review !
Any idea what's up with Azulado boots? I just ordered a pair from their sale and am excited to see how they are!
Azulado is a brand by Allen's Boots and they are very traditionally made from what I have seen. Congrats! Looks like a great boot

the Safari color is so cool. Great choice!
Thanks ya’ll! It’s super flattering you wanna follow Hondo in 2022
Please review some Chisos

Can I get a review on the Tony Lama TLX work boots?
Hey Jeremiah can you do a review of the Justin CR4012 work boots?
Would there be a chance of trying out “Azulado Boots” fairly new brand that has almost no reviews online.
Yes there will be a chance. I talked to them at a Dallas trade show a week or so ago and they are interested in collaborating with me so it's just a matter of getting the details in order.

Do an Ariat Bantamweight boot please.
Hang on. Hondo boots are currently at Cavender's Boots? Or they are going to be? It's hard to find anything other than Ariat at a Cavender's.
They are currently there, but as Jeremiah said they sell out quick
