Not anymore! I love my miter saw (my awesome husband got me a brand new one for Christmas to replace my older one). I was nervous at first, a couple of years ago, but I’m just careful and aware these days. I probably use my miter saw the most, other than my drill, of course, but I love me some power tools and have pieced together a pretty decent little workshop. 😬
@@SimplyMindy, I just noticed you’d replied. Yes, I’ve got four ongoing, as well as all the smalls that I’m constantly doing between bigger jobs. I turned my granddaughter’s old wooden toddler bed (which I’d previously painted for her) into a bench, using the slats for the seat. I did it in “big girl” colors and just have to complete the pillows I’m doing for it. I also built her a stool to go with a mermaid vanity I’d done for her back in the fall. Aside from stuff for my babygirl, I’ve got a cabinet build about halfway done and I’m just getting started on an antique vanity that I plan to add raised stenciling and (hopefully) a very cool paint job to. I’ve decided I definitely need a clone to help me get more done so that I can move more pieces in from storage! 😬

Comment if you've been nervous about using a power saw!

Yes ma’am how did you learn
I watched other videos, read through manuals, but mostly just by using the saw. For me trial and error is the best way!
