I've been reading a lot about Sapa vs Ha Giang and this is the best concise comparison between the two areas. For people who go to Sapa, I also read that it's best to stay away from the main town.

THERE ARE SOME RICE TERRACES IN HA GIANG AS WELL, IN PLACES LIKE DU GIA BUT HOANG SU PHI HAS SOME EPIC RICE TERRACES WHICH IS CLOSER AND CAN BE INCLUDED TO THE EPIC HA GIANG LOOP SO THAT YOU WONT MISS SAPA.

Thank you for the video!!! We have two-three days to explore the norh of Vietnam and we have to choose between Sapa and Ha Giang. We are wondering if Ha Giang is also a good destinantion for trekking, as all the routes we see are for motorbike. Thank you!!
During my trip I did not see many hiking trails. Maybe I missed it during research? But it’s definitely more about the road trip for ha giang. If you want hiking sapa is the way to go. 😁

Hello! Please help me: what about the weather? I live in Sai gon and it is so hot right now, I would like to go to mountains. But I checked the weather in Ha Giang and it is + 32! (almosl like in Sai gon) and I don't understand why - it is mountains so why so hot? Last year i have been to Sa pa and it was about +24 in May - nice. So can you tell me about the difference in wheather between Sa Pa and Ha Giang? Thanks a lot!
