My Best friend was murdered by his cellmate September 2019 the man that murdered him had already had charges from assaulting another cell mate 8 months earlier stabbing him with a homemade knife the prison had problems with him destroying prison property the man should never have been in general population he just decided while my friend was asleep that he was going to flip him over on his stomach and strangle him to death. I've been to jail and grew up around people who've done alot of time one of the very first things your told is we are not security for you were here to keep you here that's it if you wanna play that gang stuff your on your own there are plenty of programs to do your time right
I've seen first hand these officers use this as entertainment. The bad cops get to flex. Go tell their wives how tough they were at work. A and B day worked. I've seen it work with my own eyes. This gets bad swat away from their desks. "Guess what I did at work today honey". At the expense to people who weren't but most were born into this. Thank God I've seen good cops. I am not a church person and I don't smoke I don't vape I don't drink alcohol and I am not part of a gang I am actually in Vet Tech school and know English, Spanish and ASL/American Sign Language and volunteer at animal shelters and homeless shelters and help with the Epilepsy Foundation of Utah so church is not always your best choice my father was raised LDS and after he got into college he dropped out and started smoking cigarettes and weed and mushrooms and drinking alcohol and my mom was also raised LDS but after she moved out she stopped going to church and she got pregnant with her first child my oldest sister at 18 and then she broke up with her dad and met my dad and got pregnant with my dad and had me and my sister in her 20s and they raised us non LDS but when I was 6 I started having seizures and my mom left me with my dad and took my 2 other sisters and I was raised by him and I am now 22 and I have never touched alcohol cigarettes vaped weed or any illegal drugs and my dad thought me that by telling me his college and high school stories not saying you need to go to church

Prisons are sued for discrimination; person must ask to be housed with who they are affiliated with. Admitting you can’t go around rivals because of affiliation validates the persons as a gang member making any trouble more severe. Or persons is scared which makes them a victim and they will be protected; it’s all up to the person! Anyone who’s done active prison time has walked into and around rivals on the regular. Prisons and jail should be allowed to house by color race size affiliation, whatever!
