As a revert, i swear, i can never ever repay this man for what he has done for me. He has explained very complex issues of Islam, issues such as modernism, which unless you are in the west, you simply can not explain. He has dedicated his life to Islam and truth, and it shows in his speech. May Allah bless you and give you the loftiest ranks Shaykh, and Allah knows best.
My friend sheikh yusuf is a revert himself. There is no such thing as revert, you are just returning to your true creator. May Allah bless you and your family. Ameen
Ebada is the sublime service you give to humanity Not only your poeple to create what is benefitual To the earth and animals Humans The five pillars is the practice of Islam to serve poeple is to worship God
Loved this video! Alhumdulilah! Glory be to God the Highest!!! Please sisters and brothers make dua for our Muslims in China! Allah is always with the righteous people🙏💖
Oh Allah the darkness has prolonged on our ummah and You alone are our protector. Unite our hearts and protect us and our brothers and sisters throughout the lands. Blind our enemies and remove this oppression from us and all people ya Allah.
I am actually learning so much from you Shaykh, and gaining so much awareness of the purpose of my life in and of itself I like your lectures Hope to shake hands with you one day Alpha Senegal (West Africa)
Assalaamou ALAYKOUM, mbokkou SENEGAL, dila zyaar.Cheikh Hamzah is AMAZING, and he deserves to be treasured among the most outspoken ISLAMIC Intellectuals In our times .I'm glad to find another Senegalese in the viewers. If you want to understand deep concepts of religion if you listen to him longer inchaaALLAAH your UNDERSTANDING will increase and your TAWHEED WILL GET STRONGER.WE NEED TO LEARN OUR RELIGION beyond simple rituals.May ALLAAH SWT KEEP US FIRM IN HIS DEEN. AAMEEN.
Just a correction: Camus didn't commit suicide. He died in a car crash. Camus addressed one of the fundamental questions of existentialism: the problem of suicide. He wrote: "There is only one really serious philosophical question, and that is suicide." Camus viewed the question of suicide as arising naturally as a solution to the "absurdity of life" philosophy that he subscribed to.
Many blessings to you and your family. Happy Valentine's Day, everyday is a day to celebrate God's love. I'm a retired operating room nurse from Kennewick, Washington. I now live in Tunisia and have been enjoying your insights. I was happy to hear that you were a nurse and used to live in Walla Walla ❤👣
I feel exhausted when i try to comprehend Allah with my Aqal so i give up but 4 me given up is not an option i still want to find him after if i believe him with my heart i become restless to know more until i bust into crying feeling helpless @ times i feel if i was never born so that this burden of knowing him never existed i wish to be nothing i wish i should die and this mind come to rest.
Simply ,do more QUR'AN reading ,and tahhajud making dua about and KNOWLEDGE wisdom do more ZIKR ON THE HOLY PROPHET SAWS ,inchaaALLAAH with patience and trust in Allaah ,there will be some kind of opening, be IZNILLAAH. But we must study to memorize and to understand it is a great stimulation to the intellect .So less video but more reading ,ib order to do Tadabbur ,deep thinking ,contemplation. I know what I'm telling you .The QUR'AN itself is a big opener .last work on your taqwah as well.
Albert Camus (1:50) ...the French Algerian philosopher ...author of "The Plague" , "The Myth of Sisyphus" dint commit suicide .....he died in a car accident. I don't like to correct Sheikh but i think he confused Camus with someone else.
It might just be Stig Dagerman who really was in a kind of Âadamiya. He ended up killing himself in his garage; the exhaust gases of his vehicule ended him. One of his last writings was vaingloriously titled: Our need of consolation is impossible to satisfy... It's one of the saddest stories I've heard about an atheist. Allah yarham 3ibadahou assali7in al moujtahidin. La ilaha illa Allah malikou al moulki al hakim houwa âala koulli chay'in kadir.
Emmett Brown Yes, It is difficult to consider Buddha as a Prophet because as per my research, non of his preachings contain monotheism. In fact in ancient Hindu texts such as Rigveda there are several verses which preach monotheism like Abrahamic religions.
@Emmett Brown i still consider most saint and enlightened men might be prophets... its just sy. hamza yusuf opinion. In Veda as Dr. Zakir Naik said, about a figure named Kalki Avatar had some history parallel to sidna Muhammad.
I really appreciate Hamza Yusuf, but he made a mistake in this discussion. Albert Camus did not commit suicide. He died in a car accident. This is very well known.
*Hamza Yusuf and muslims have to deal with Yasir Qadhi's assertions that "There are holes in the standard narrative" about the preservation of quran. Deleting part of video interview done by Mo Hijab, where Qadhi makes this assertion, will not help, you have face the evidence and the reality that quran was not perfect preserved, as admitted, first by Shabbir Ally and now by Yassir Qadhi, two of the greatest and most respected scholars on Islam.*
I think it is better if you stay out of the topic if you don't understand what he(YQ) is talking about, Ahruf (dialects) and their relationship to qiraat (modes of recitation) are what YQ was referring to, not the preservation of Quran, Quran is preserved both in orthography and memorization, The old texts are without dialectic marks - which is where the ahruf and Qiraat comes to play, this is not something unknown to people, I knew Quran was revealed in 7 dialects when I was 9-10 years old. Its not strange either to have multiple pronunciations and displacement of prepositions, as language within same country differs greatly. And there is no rule books on ahruf and Qiraat, its purely from memorization of prominent reciters of Quran going back to Prophet himself. And this is what YQ was addressing. ua-cam.com/video/iAY4W078DHI/v-deo.html u can get a clear idea what changes does those 7 ahruf do, in that video...its not some complicated topic. As for the Mo Hijab video I don't really care if he deleted the clip, but the full video is there on YQ's channel, and he seem to be aware of what he is talking about. Further both Shabbir Ally and YQ are respected scholars but they are not the greatest.

3:15 Buddha was not a Prophet. He was a saintly man. He rejected idol worship.
