This tinted gel actually works surprisingly well on my oil skin! It’s water based so that helps. It is “dewy” but it somehow seems to stay put for a good portion of the day and doesn’t look gross when you’ve worn it for a long day, it just sort of gracefully wears off as more and more of your real skin starts to come through throughout the day. Very very light coverage but it also looks beautiful underneath the bare pro powder foundation (Adds extra coverage and does help take down the dewy shine). Bare minerals is way underrated IMO
I love love love this tinted moisturizer. It’s thicker than the ones I’ve seen on the market, like the Laura Mercier. Every time I wear it, people literally tell me I’m glowing and my skin looks gorgeous. And I’ve never been that comfortable with my skin since I almost always have a breakout or have acne scars. One thing to note is that I tried applying this with a damp beauty blender-nope, doesn’t work at all. Best to do it with fingers, like you did. :)
This is honestly the prettiest foundation you’ve ever show us. Honestly I do think you’re prettier with lighter makeup. You look sooo natural. Just gorgeous. Imo lighter makeup that’s not at all cakey looks best on you. I’m going to buy this. I have the same complexion💕

I have purchased this tinted moisturizer after watching your video and I think it's an amazing product! I have oily skin but it looks natural on me, not too shiny, it has good coverage if applied with a more dense brush and I just love it. Plus it does not emphasize my acne scars, which is what ultimately counts. I have to say that the perfect shade is hard to find when buying it online, I got shade 7.5 Dune which is recommended for medium to tan skin with golden undertones but it is extremely light for me, so I went for shade 8.5 Terra hoping it will match my skin in summer. Thanks for your video ❤️
I love this foundation. Sometimes for a little bit of extra coverage I add a drop of dior backstage foundation sample I have and they pair well together Edit: I use a brush and it works great

In your opinion do you think the Nars tinted moisturizer has too much coverage to get away with a shade that's a bit lighter? Unfortunately I dont have a perfect shade match in it, but whenever you wear it, your skin looks amazing!
I tried this a few years ago and I struggled with it. I’m an oily gal and it made me look like I ran a marathon in the middle of the day. The shade match was off too, I felt like it oxidized really bad. I ended up giving to my dry skin friend and she liked it.
One of the issues with the US spf system is that to get the full spf that is on the bottle you would have to use an excessive amount of foundation. So other countries usually don't count it because it's not actually giving you the protection. I hope that helps.
yes I totally understand why but it's just confusing to the average consumer especially if you have sensitivities and assume if it doesn't list it, it doesn't have it!

I love this stuff! I use it in place of a foundation. I just use a setting spray with it. Ulta has a sale this Saturday where al Bare Minerals foundation is $20. In snagging the complexion rescue and the original loose powder for when I want a little more coverage Also we have the exact skin tone! I’m slice in this as well. I like your channel because you’re the only person online who has the exact same complexion as me to a T!

I’m not someone who wears foundation or concealer. But I recently switched to mineral sunscreen since I started having really bad reaction to chemical. Unless if you are as white as snow with a purple undertone you cannot possibly wear non tinted mineral sunscreen. I had tried a few tinted ones but they just did not fit my skin tone. I can range from cool beige to olive with yellow undertones. Anyways I ended up buying this tinted mineral spf gel, and I only apply some rose hip oil before this a very tiny amount as a moisturizer and then apply this gel. And top it off with some powder spf 30 from supergoop in translucent which btw you can easily reapply all day when you feel oily or just need some more protection . And let me say I have not broken out, my complexion has evened out and I have not burned. I am someone with super sensitive skin and this is a game changer. Just make sure to buy a powder spf to top it off throughout the day, because you definitely don’t want to be reapplying tinted spf
This looks so nice on your face at least on camera. However if it feels heavy I’m not sure I would like it... I’m on the fence on getting it since it’s on sale!!

Thank you for your thorough reviews. We have similar complexions so I always search your videos when thinking on a new product. I purchased this last month in spice and don't really like it. It feels drying on my skin and looks powdery on my skin. I have yet to find a light coverage cream to replace my favorite covergirl smooth bb cream. I just wish I didn't have to mix it with another cream to get the right shade. I'm a minimal makeup wearer and just want moisture that evens out my complexion. I'll have to look at your NARS review.
Maybe you could try out the Revolution beauty Conceal & hydrate foundation. It can be full coverage, but also you can sheer it out. But if you like lighter coverage the ELF foundation is pretty great.
I used to wear BB creams all throughout college and my early twenties. Since then I’ve been trying out foundations w no luck. Shade matching is tough. This encouraged me to go back to that. So thank you! Why fix what isn’t broken right.
