Illegal hits are higher than shoulders and shoulder tackles. Then watch Cheslin Kolbe and Faf the giant slayer for smaller guys and Jonah Lomu for a trucking GOAT. At some point also check out best rugby tries (try = score)

In Scotland you get tackled, roll so the ball is on your teams side to pass the ball on. Then you get up and get on with it! 😀😀❤️

It's a lot more fluid. An 80 minute rugby game may take 85 minutes plus halftime if there's a few injury stoppages. A 60 minute NFL game takes 4 hours!!! More advertising time than playing time.
The little huddle was a contested scrum. Very dangerous place to be. Necks get broken in there if you don't know what you're doing.
There are many diffenr sized people playing rugby from Faf deKlerk (South Africa) at 5'7" and 180 lbs ) to his national captain Eben Etzebeth (6'8" and 269 lbs). DeKlerk would expect to tackle Etzebeth and put him on the ground perhaps 8 times in 10.

If you wanna see a "little" guy rolling bigger guys you should check out Faf de Klerk the South African scrum-half aka "the giantslayer." Obviously "little" is a relative term when you're talking about professional athletes, but he is generally to be considered a small guy compared to other pros.

Subscriber increase : React to videos from Football ( Soccer ) - Audience would be most of Europe & South America. Rugby - Audience UK, Australasia & South Africa. Cricket - Audience England, South Africa, Australia/NZ Pakistan and all 1 billion Indians. These 3 major sports give a possible audience of half the worlds population. Start with learning the rules and build from there. ( Maybe Rugby Mondays, Cricket Wednesdays & Football Fridays ). For the Algorithms- ask for advise or questions to increase comments. Good luck.

Rules, you have to use your arms, no shoulder charges. No tackles above the shoulders, so any neck or head contact is illegal. Can't lift and flip players onto their backs or neck. Otherwise it's hard as you like.

A soccer team can play on a Saturday and the following Tuesday. A rugby team has to wait a week between games. Says it all.

I suggest you watch a whole game of rugby in order to get a fuller understanding. The rules get very intricate, which is where the referee gets involved. Three basic rules to remember: 1; the ball can only be passed backwards. 2; the ball can only be kicked forwards. 3; In order to score a try (rugby equivalent of a touchdown) the ball must be placed on the ground using downward pressure. A couple of other points: there are two types of rugby, rugby league and rugby union; in rugby union (I've never played rugby league so cannot comment) there are positions to suit players of different builds. For example the front row of the scrum is for short and stocky guys, and scrum-half is usually a short guy who's quick on his feet. Watching a few referee compilation videos will also help you. Nigel Owens is a good starting point. On the subject of referees, mouthing off to match officials is against the rules and can be penalised.

You must always release the ball, if your tackled and taken to ground cos if ya don't the ref will penalise you for "holding"

Your reactions are great. If you watch a bit of a normal game of rugby, you will understand the rules better. Basically, you must pass the ball backwards, but you can kick the ball forwards. Of course, kicking can just give the ball away to the opposing team and you lose possession. When a player is tackled and goes down, he will try and roll enough to feed the ball back to his team who form a ruck or loose scrum and use that position for the next move. A set scrum is formed usually for an infringement accidentally or otherwise. It's in a 3-2-1 V shape with opposing scrum/pack players locking into each other and pushing like fuck. The team that gets the put-in through the tunnel usually wins the scrum and when the ball comes out it is passed along the line of running players three quarters/backs, whatever they're called these days. Lots of other rules that can penalise you and lead to nasty penalty decisions (see referee Nigel Evans explanations). Simple really.

You can improve by not talking so much. No-one wants to hear you so much. Less is more on UA-cam. Also have a small view of you and big view of the rugby.
