- Which hits are more brutal?
Tyler Pick Thursdays so I picked to make up for yesterdays missed rugby Wednesday.
I’m on a mission to hit 1k subs in the next two weeks! It’s an ambitious goal but I think we can do it, especially with a great audience like ya'll!
As always- like, subscribe, and give me some recommendations on what I should watch next.

What is considered a TACKLE in rugby is different than in our football. To be tackled in rugby requires that you be "in the grasp' of the tackler when you hit the ground and the tackler must make an effort to 'wrap' the ball carrier. You don't have to succeed in wrapping but you must make the effort. Knocking some one over is not a tackle.
Now, where can you tackle someone?
You must make contact below the armpits, not make head to head contact, nor can your grasp ride up above the armpits. There are mitigating factors allowed such as the ball carrier suddenly ducking before the defender makes contact. The mitigation only comes in when deciding whether or not a Carding is given, it's still a penalty.
Also, IF you lift someone in a tackle you are taking on a 'responsibility of care' and must bring them to ground 'safely'. This means that when lifting you may not rotate them so that the head goes lower than their waist.
I recently came across a channel ( ua-cam.com/users/TheNoahJarvis ) that has some really good videos explaining how the game is played with applicable videos.
There are videos about how to play certain positions, how defense works etc. etc.
I believe they are worthy of reaction videos as opposed to those 'rules videos."

TheRugbyNetwok does stream MLR matches. live. Peacock does European and Internationals live too, but then there's that pesky time zone issue where you need to get up at 4AM to watch a match.
I don't need to see it live. It's a rugby match. I haven't seen it before and I have no idea what the score was.

Hi from down under mate. Just a quick one, the pinnacle of world rugby, the rugby world cup for men and woman will be coming to the USA in 2031 and 2033. It takes place every 4 years and includes only the best world teams so you should be able to watch rugby on television in the coming years.

You should watch women's rugby. They are just as bad as the men. Of Course pads cushions and helmets are not worn either, It's Rugby.👍
