Yeah, I first noticed it from Vita. Her expressions when she was first introduced were so alluring, literally couldn't get my eyes off of her. But the most animated of them all is of course Susannah. They managed to get Vita's carefree and cheerful attitude within the first 20mins of her introduction, and also Susannah's clumsy and airheaded tendencies.
I love how Seele’s character development is all about self love and accepting yourself. I know people like to compare the two of them to sisters but really imho, they’re more like 2 souls bound together to create one person.
I don't agree that this is about self love. This has been established at the very beginning, Veliona is and still is a separate entity from Seele. But, as the story went on, both started to call themselves Seele. And everyone accepted her as Seele too. For me, it is a very positive outlook on what personality disorder can look like. They are both aware, they are both loving, they are whole when together. Two halves coming together as a blooming flower.
I also really love the Chinese version, where they say “I’ve found me, Seele” in unison. It really drives in the fact that they’re both Seeles and how much they care for each other.

In this arc, I believe Veliona has finally become a butterfly and realized her own beauty and value. • After the ice turns into water, the sea I hang upside down will be your sky. It is not straightforward if it was Seele or Veliona who controlled the water in this cutscene, but I believe it is Veliona using her sage’s power trying to look for Seele. This is such a powerful line and drop…Veliona here is basically like: you set me free, I’ll find you and set you free too, I will crush all our obstacles and recreate the real happy ending for you. In the original story of Little Mermaid, the mermaid dissolved into foam in the sea, and then became a spirit in the sky. But here, she literally turns the "sea" into the sky where Seele can soar. Along with the cutscene, this song is so beautiful. It’s like Veliona trying to tell Seele that she’s finally grown into a butterfly too, that she appreciates all the kindness given to her, that she will support Seele as before, and turn their story into the best version of the fairy tale she likes for her. They have separate bodies now, but they are finally equal to each other and closer than ever.
Just one thing here... Seele and Veliona were never related to the Quantum Sea... Seele just turned into one of the daughters of quanta (means her and Dr. Vita) during the X-10 Experiment, where her body was turned 100% into quantum with her high Houkai resistance due to her natural born stigma from the Herrscher of Death... I think HoYo just wants to the origin of Seele being retconed and being a 100% Quanta being from the start...
I love how they made it look like the MC of this arc was Seele when the main focus was actually on "Seele" Seele didn't have that much development in this arc other than having a new form. She was already strong even in the beginning of this arc. It was noticeable just how much she grew after the finality/moon arc. "Seele" on the other had so much development. She learned how to talk normally with other people, she now trusts Seele fully, not doubting her capabilities and not worrying that she might put herself in danger, and finally, she learned how to move alone and be separated with Seele.
seele she is no longer a girl with a weak personality but now she can confidently fight to protect the people she treasures, I am really looking forward to what the day that kiana returned to compliment her maturity.
Blue Seele has learnt to stand up for herself becoming the DPS form that wields the scythe she once struggled to carry, Red Seele has learnt to care about others, becoming the support form that strengthens her friends.

Thematically they are not sisters, "Seele" is based on the Jungian pscyhology of the "self", Id, Ego and Super-Ego, a recurring theme in all of Hoyoverse, such as Raiden, Fuhua/Senti, Fischl/Oz etc. Red Seele is the Id, the shadow that avoids suffering, Blue Seele is the Ego, the forward thinking self, and together as Seele, they are the Super-Ego, the ideal self that tries to achieve perfection, mentally, spiritually in their own eyes and others. Both Seele are one and the same, they are different sides of her true self.

I also play all three, and Honkai impact still has the best. Free SP valks, no relic or artifact farming if saved up enough. Also Star rail is pretty fair with their gatcha and easier LC then weapon in Genshin.
I am fucking dead after finishing chapter 39 Act 1. It was so beautiful and heartbreaking. This scene and everything that led to it ripped me apart... and I loved every second of it. God I love this two so much. Can't wait for Act 2!!!

They are like sister that can not be replaced by anyone else, and nobody else can replace them.
This...I watched the cutscene at last in-game few minutes ago and I did tear up in one shot - Like I felt this is like my past and I to co-exist, no need to forget but instead to understand, embrace and forgive it. This is giving me more idea for original series that inspired by my imagination and my struggle. In this moment, I am really proud and glad that I decide to play the game - Like this game somehow is teaching me life lessons without me knowing until the perfect timing.
It took me (a native German Speaker) 5 years to realise that Seeles Full Name, "Seele Völlerei" translates to "Soul Gluttony" :D This just shows once more how shes litteraly the Concepts of "Life and Death going Hand in Hand" Incarnate, as Soul is a word for Life and Gluttony one of the 7 Deadly Sins

Huh Hoyoverse, even when you guys use in game asset for character model and some environmental details, you are are still able on making such a beautiful emotional cutscene that almost make me teared up. Not gonna lie, I am impressed.
The story telling, the music and the animation are all spectacular as usual but to me, the most heart broken part of this chapter is Veliona voice acting, so much emotion was put into it that you the viewer can actually feel the pain that the character is going through. The way Veliona cried and desperately calling out for Seele just broke me on a whole other level.
Man, I want the full version of this song. It’s one of the few songs that gave me chills just from that snippet alone. Lowkey, this could end up being my favorite Hoyo song if they just had a full version 😭

I have to break it to you: Honkai Impact 3rd does not have Genshin Impact's horrible "50/50 loss" gatcha mechanic. Star Rail has it, as it has allot of similar mechanics and assets to Genshin Impact, but HI3rd does not. If you get to a certain pity value in HI3rd, you absolutely will get the featured character or one of their equipment things (depending wherever if you're pulling from character or equipment gatcha), no 50% chance you'll be getting something or someone completely different

Even with Kiana and The Void Queen theynboth just started as opposing aspects of Sirin

And honestly it's a disservice to a beloved character who has the unfortunate fate of getting her Herrscher form during 1.5. It makes no sense that every playable Herrscher got an animated short and Seele doesn't.
@@Faron93 The cutscene (which in in-game i believe) is of much higher quality than usual, so I'm fine if they are trading off the usual animation shorts for this. but please tell me there is a longer version of the music. this can't be the entire song, it's too short

@@Boomblox5896 Or Star Rail. Because, ya know, newer game, that uses the terrible gatcha only method to get characters outside events. As outdated a gatcha system Honkai Impact 3rd has, I prefer it over the one used for Genshin Impact and Star Rail. But, this is just my opinions I guess
@@zigazav1 True. Plus I really like that you can EARN fragments of lower-ranked characters and suits as opposed to requiring the Gacha for even the most basic line of characters and suits.
I also play all three, and Honkai impact still has the best. Free SP valks, no relic or artifact farming if saved up enough.
Also Star rail is pretty fair with their gatcha and easier LC then weapon in Genshin.

I am fucking dead after finishing chapter 39 Act 1. It was so beautiful and heartbreaking. This scene and everything that led to it ripped me apart... and I loved every second of it. God I love this two so much. Can't wait for Act 2!!!

They are like sister that can not be replaced by anyone else, and nobody else can replace them.
This...I watched the cutscene at last in-game few minutes ago and I did tear up in one shot - Like I felt this is like my past and I to co-exist, no need to forget but instead to understand, embrace and forgive it. This is giving me more idea for original series that inspired by my imagination and my struggle. In this moment, I am really proud and glad that I decide to play the game - Like this game somehow is teaching me life lessons without me knowing until the perfect timing.

It took me (a native German Speaker) 5 years to realise that Seeles Full Name, "Seele Völlerei" translates to "Soul Gluttony" :D
This just shows once more how shes litteraly the Concepts of "Life and Death going Hand in Hand" Incarnate, as Soul is a word for Life and Gluttony one of the 7 Deadly Sins

Best cutscene and the best song
The story telling, the music and the animation are all spectacular as usual but to me, the most heart broken part of this chapter is Veliona voice acting, so much emotion was put into it that you the viewer can actually feel the pain that the character is going through. The way Veliona cried and desperately calling out for Seele just broke me on a whole other level.
Man, I want the full version of this song. It’s one of the few songs that gave me chills just from that snippet alone.

I have to break it to you: Honkai Impact 3rd does not have Genshin Impact's horrible "50/50 loss" gatcha mechanic. Star Rail has it, as it has allot of similar mechanics and assets to Genshin Impact, but HI3rd does not. If you get to a certain pity value in HI3rd, you absolutely will get the featured character or one of their equipment things (depending wherever if you're pulling from character or equipment gatcha), no 50% chance you'll be getting something or someone completely different
