      @lazycouch1, can you please clarify what are you referring to?

    • @lazycouch1
      @lazycouch1 5 років тому

      @@garzonimpleks I mean. Most scientists aren't as you say. They respect the neccisity of accurate data and theory. Peer review prevents, on average, large inaccuracies from being accepted or published. Traditionally media on a whole exagerates and exacerbates scientific misinformation with click bait titles. Many of the finer details are the constituents that hold the paper up, and offer reasonings. However, these finer details usually don't make it into the media. Often leaving a bad or false impression. What I'm saying is, science is generally regulated and media-titles are not. It's a bit unfair to judge all scientists in that.

    • @garzonimpleks
      @garzonimpleks 5 років тому +1

      @lazycouch1 i think you might be misreading my comment, is not about media hype or anything on that nature, is about a scientist being open to the possibility the previous conceptions may be wrong. And that is not a given. Towards history many scientist became famous for challenging a concepts that were taken for granted on the large scientific community. Think about stuff like the evolution theory or the concept that air is incompressible. Some got accepted easily, but many had problems with part of the scientific community accepting then for a long time even after a lot of evidence was showed and reviewed.

      They do and it is updated as often as measurements are taken. The thing to ask for here is to make this data more accessible to the general public, more easily understandable with clear and defined data visualization. People have been arguing about this for a very long time and the only barrier to it has been funding. There is no information, none, that both NASA and NOAA would not like to share. The problem is funding for how this data is shared and who takes the job of making this easier for the public to understand? I hope that helps! I’ve been advocating for this for about a decade now LOL. Also the declassification of military data that would be useful to the scientific community. Remember the military has a lot more funding funneled into it than science ever has and probably ever will. Can you imagine the tech they’ve had to collect data important for science?!

    • @zizisearles
      @zizisearles 3 роки тому

      I call bullshit on funding. Visualizing the pole drift is easy. There are dozens of universities involved globally and data collected and posted daily on the location of the poles and other magnetic anomalies. I’m sure the visualization software already exists. They only need to post to the web like the USGS posts global earthquakes in real time. Nope they are’ not posting a map of drift + anomalies for a reason.

Maybe we should create a solar collector in space and then convert that energy to some useable energy or transport that energy to Earth using electrical equipments as they will be more useful.

      Yes. But only temporarily. I believe EMP's affect radiowaves, so there isn't a direct connection to the equipment. Solar flares however, are essentially absorbed into the ground causing electrical currents that short out electric grids.
      They're basically attacking on two fronts: the initial hit that damages satellites and towers (radiowaves), and the residual energy held within the ground that shorts out anything connected to the power grid.

    It's really sad reading all the comments. Everybody is trying to be funny in order to get more likes and almost nobody is discussing the science of the event. But don't worry guys, you are so funny and amazing. I can't stop laughing from your amazing sense of humor.

    *report about what happened in december 2012. the disaster predictions were true, there was a once in a lifetime enormous solar flare that came our way, it was just 2 weeks too late, so it missed us! but strangely, the media doesn't say boo about it :-\*
