When I replace a microwave I keep the glass turntable from inside and use it as a lazy Susan. It’s stronger than a plastic one and holds more weight. Since it’s glass you don’t have to be worried about finding one that matches or compliments the colors or style in the room.
Love the hacks! One hack for the planter to keep the soil from coming out of the drainage holes is to either put a flat rock over each hole or a piece of garden mesh.
I use denture tablets to clean the toilets. Just drop 1-2 in, depending on the difficulty of the stains, and leave overnight. Next morning, just swish the toilet brush around and flush!!!😂
I do love the hacks but you should put a disclaimer to your subscribers who watch all of your videos that we are not going crazy thinking we already watched this video it’s just hacks we have seen before in your previous videos lol
✨Upcycled globe is great‼️By placing a piece of paper towel in before your soil (for succulents, so that it has more sand than usual potting soil) your soil won’t come out when you add water✨The Amazon search tip is wonderful ‼️The fan switch is explained in EVERY manual for EVERY fan…didn’t know people didn’t know to switch this🤪 yes, the tabs on the wrap ends work great😊 Tip for removing labels…just use a blow dryer to heat up…label peals right off with no residue ✅
Your bench is lovely with the $3 fabric. Thanx for the baseboard hack which I will also use for my ceilings. Luv that u reuse the juice bottle 4 watering your plants. Hope u have a great week ✌🏽
I use denture tabs for stain removal on localized areas, meaning I want to only clean a portion of the item. For dye bleeding fading ect. I get the item wet as hot as the fabric allows . I then add a dab of any cheap toothpaste ( i get on sale, brand doesn’t matter) to the fabric. I use the denture tab to gently massage th the toothpaste into the fabric. Then have to WALK AWAY!!! for a few minutes. I give it another scrub and rinse til it runs clear. It works great on stains that cause problems.
I wish I could still sit in a beanbag and get back up without help😅... This old lady, Thanks you for sharing!! 🌹♥️. *God bless you and your family, Stay Safe And Well.*
Dollar Tree carries a dupe for Goobgone works exactly like it too, same amount in the bottle too , im picking two up, one for kitchen one where crafting.
I bought some antique Mother of Pearl and glass buttons that I wanted to display in my sewing room. I soaked the buttons in a bowl with denture cleaner, and they are PERFECT! This also works on mother of pearl carved jewelry, or trinkets. (Warning: don't use denture cleaner on ivory, or the fake ivory, tagua nut. It will destroy it.)
On the key hack after putting the color on it and it Drys I would take a sharpe marker and right what it go's to then when it Drys put a clear coat on it so if you forget what color go's to what it says it on it too
Instead of buying specialty racks to store my pans and lids I use the wire and/or plastic book and paper organizers left over from my years of teaching. They are great for pots and pans, baking dishes, cookie sheets, cake pans, pie pans, cooling racks. I also use a mail organizer for smaller items.
I think it’s hack number 12, the keep your fruit and vegetables cold all day you hack is a definitely work. I do it at all of my office events when I have fruit, trays salad, plates, cold pasta I have the type aluminum pans I put ice in the bottom or I put a little ice and water a little bit of water because you don’t wanna melt your ice and then stick my pasta on top of that salad on top of that as far as fruit. It’s just ice and stick my fruit on top of it now, for a picnic outside here’s one more hack same idea except instead of it being ice cubes you’re going to take and you’re gonna put maybe an eighth or fourth of water in your pan or maybe not quite half depending on how deep your pans are and you’re going to freeze that water in the pan then the next day you’re gonna pull out your ice and you’re going to get your fruit and you’re gonna stick it down in it I recommend if you have a pan that will fit insulated carrying bag rabbit with foil really good over the top your fruit put your fruit in the frozen ice pan stick it in the insulated bag take it to your party. The insulated bag will help. Keep the ice frozen while traveling. Or getting ready for the event. Then when you’re ready to put it out on the table, you pull it out unwrap the foil off the top of the fruit I should remark when I’m taking something like this to an event outside I saran wrap, then put full all over the top of my food because you want the foil to put on the bottom side of the ice pan, it helps to insulate and keep it frozen. Again same concept just frozen water versus ice cubes.
I used to move around alot when I was in the U.S.M.C (retired), when packing, I put my bottles in zip lock bags, or when I went to the field (camping) each day's clothes would go into a zip lock bag, and when it's dirty, put it back in the bag so it doesn't attract critters
I totally forgot about the parmesan cheese lid, I have one about to be empty, I need to put a note on it so I don't forget. Plus on the outside chance my bf uses the last, but that's unlikely... I have totally spoiled him and now he only fixes his plate when I for some odd reason I can't.
I had done the tape on my luggage for years but every time we travel the tape comes back all screwed up apparently security will pull it and check if something is under it.
I’m confused about the throw pillow hack. Buy a pillow “case”? “Rectangular “? It looks like a square pillow insert. Will you please clarify what you bought? Thank you.
And another thing, if it's not safe to put grease down your drain, why put baby oil in your sink? That's asking for future problems as oily and greasy things clog your pipes
The rice trick isn't really "sharpening" the knife. It's actually "honing" the edge of the blade. It's the same principle as using a steel rod. It basically knocks the edge back into shape.
Most of these are common sense except for the ones that make no sense. Waste food to display plastic greenery? And the box the trash bags come in is already designed to come out without buying a plastic box. And you didn't know about changing directions on your ceiling fan? Nah .... Most of these "hacks" are a no for me
Number 22 just folding your tape over has been around for years. Do we just not pay attention to our parents because surely one as old as you are and as long as it’s around, you’ve never seen your mom or aunt or your dad? As far as hack 23 with the ceiling fan, OK this goes to show that we do not read instructions because it’s on the ceiling fan box. If you read it it is nothing new, nothing! I’m wondering, since it was so new to you you must live in a state where stays hot all the time so it doesn’t make a difference whether not you switch that toggle! Because I feel like as old as you are and as much as you educate people on UA-cam that you already knew about this particular it’s not a hack. It’s a function. I’m the ceiling fan.🤔
I had done the tape on my luggage for years but every time we travel the tape comes back all screwed up apparently security will pull it and check if something is under it.

Love being reminded of old hacks and seeing new ones💃🏽
The hammer with the magnet!!! That one I had not see before and it is soooooooo practical!!! I love it! Thank you.

Leave the lamp the way it is it’s gorgeous!

Those small organisers are brilliant for earrings & bracelets ~ i pack mine to take on holiday or visiting.

Great hacks! Btw, using a blow dryer works on label removing too!
The denture tablets work in your toilet too
Love the knife trick( didn’t want to use the word hack 🤣)
I love the beach tote idea. I will take the tote with the bags into the store with me. I can use the tote to put eggs or bread or other soft items in!
Your bench is lovely with the $3 fabric. Thanx for the baseboard hack which I will also use for my ceilings. Luv that u reuse the juice bottle 4 watering your plants. Hope u have a great week ✌🏽

I love ❤ your dog! We had a ShihTzu for 15 years-a precious baby.

You can use the denture cleaner to clean your bathroom tiles and grout.❤
With the trash bag contain if you use different size trash bags like I do you can also put them on the other end saving space as well
I think the lamp will be gorgeous in tan or black.
Black for the lamp to match the candle sticks❤
I use denture tablets in the acrylic pitcher I brew tea in for iced tea. Works pretty well to remove most of the tea stains.

You can use the essential oil inside the toilet paper roll too. Right inside the carboard part. And give your bathroom a nice scent.
Love your egg peeling hack!!!❤

You are one of my favorite persons. I actually work at dollar tree😊. I am seriously going to try my talents with some diy's. Lov ya
Use a clear band-aid. ( Cut to size) Place on your windshield of the car, helps stop the crack from spreading until you get home or have it fixed.
With the necklace hack you can take a bigger straw and cut it so that you can separate it enough for the chain to fit in.
I find The bread hack keeps the bread fresher! 😊
These are brilliant! Thank you for sharing. I did not know about the ceiling fan. Heading upstairs to check! 😁
You are great❤
My glass storage containers have water stains from dishwasher. Will try the denture cleaning.
39. Easier bandaide knuckle hack - buy the knuckle and finger tip bandaides and no need for scissors that could add more germs to the mix.
Loved ❤it
I put wrap over my paint bottles before the lid because I always have a problem getting the lid off when paint gets dried on the rim
Wondering if the lemon hack works with limes? Thanks if you lnow and share😊
I used denture cleaner for stainless steel travel mugs to remove stains.
Wow I am 56 years old and I DID IT!!! No problem and I am sweating and that for me is an impossible!!!!!!!!!🤯 THANK YOU FOR INSPIRING ME. ❤
Hi Liz. Great video. So many wonderful ideas. I love the white blouse you are wearing during the glass cleaning hack. Where is it from?
Or just store your bread in the fridge.....it lasts so much longer.
Where would I be able to purchase the pillow form?
Where did you get the clear fridge container with the handle!?
I had done the tape on my luggage for years but every time we travel the tape comes back all screwed up apparently security will pull it and check if something is under it.
Loved your pink dress….
I’ve used olive oil in my sink and it works great. Baby oil is a lot cheaper so I have to try that
I didn't know that about the foil! So needed to know that!
Great ideas
I’m confused about the throw pillow hack. Buy a pillow “case”? “Rectangular “? It looks like a square pillow insert. Will you please clarify what you bought? Thank you.
What ? You mean I don't have to lick the suction cups 😅😂 . 😊
Hate to bug you but what shade/brand of ur eye shadow do u use?
How should I store it so that it doesn’t go bad
I use the Föhn to move stickers
Just Absolutely Amazing ❤! Almost at That million Subbie Milestone Baby,Yassss 😊
Hi Liz
Longtime subscriber . You have a 😊 great channel! Can you please tell what the name of your ice maker is and where to.purchase it ?
Luggage hack, tie a colorful bandana around the handle or roller handle.
If you get a container with a lid , place your lemons in a container, then add water and place lid on it lemons stay up to 6 months
Heel leuk
Was there any new hack you didn‘t show before?
Good for toilets. ❤
Paint the lamp black 😀
After using ginger
And another thing, if it's not safe to put grease down your drain, why put baby oil in your sink? That's asking for future problems as oily and greasy things clog your pipes
I had to do it this way because my Internet is messing up
As The Rolling Stones would say - "Paint it Black".
Paint it the blue you have in the bowl
I use baby oil as furniture polish. Just make sure you wipe it down x2 to remove the excess 😊
Why wouldn't you use Dawn dish soap? Dawn works on laundry stains also why buy denture tablets?
tooth brush holder hack - add coins or sand or something for weight.
I told you get what you're doing but the thing is food is too expensive these days so that's kind of a waste
Is it an urban myth that its not safe to freeze disposable water bottles
We reset the ceiling fans every season. We have done this for at least 20 years?
TABLECLOTH
Where are the other 25?
How is it a hack when you just don't know something. The switch on your ceiling fan is not a hack, that is a lack of reading the directions.
The rice trick isn't really "sharpening" the knife. It's actually "honing" the edge of the blade. It's the same principle as using a steel rod. It basically knocks the edge back into shape.
I use denture cleaner in my toilet...
These are all old hacks

I have known about the aluminum foil trick for about 15/20 years!❤
I think it's because Liz is younger. We've done this one for decades.

Why wouldn't you use dollar tree small toiletrie containers if you travel alot an put in a zip lock, no brainer.
How about hire a housekeeper for five hours for$45...

The candle 🕯 light hack stinks.
Yes I knew about the foil hack.
