I have been adding vinegar to my laundry machine for a couple of years now…..the vinegar is a natural softener (and less expensive than softener) and (gentle) “bleaching” agent! My clothes come out beautiful and smell clean!
Wow! That’s an awesome technique! Thank you so much for sharing your hack!💕
I use baking soda in with the laundry detergent, and the vinegar in the softener cup. Unfortunately I have to go to a laundromat, but this also helps with static from the dryer. I have not used dryer sheets since 2003.
Plus, if you look on the web for what they put into the dryer sheets, it is horrible ingredients.
Some great tips. I also love that you don't yap endlessly like some presenters do. You give the info quick and to the point
Thank you! I’m happy you liked the hacks. I appreciate your kind words. I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!💕
I have a friend who works in a show store who told me to never dry your shoes on the dryer. It breaks down the glue and they won't last as long. Air dry stuffed with newspaper instead.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing!
This reminds me of back in the 1970s, when my sister decided to dry her shoes in the oven of our wood-burning stove… they were dry when she took them out, but the soles has separated from her shoes! LOL
Even back then, stuffing with newspaper was the recommended treatment for wet shoes, but she thought she knew better. :) A university education isn't everything…
When I clean my stainless steel sink,I put some of the salt on the lemon and it helps scour any build up too. They work great together. Then, just take them both and throw them in your disposal, turn it on and you have two jobs done. Love this hack! Thanks for all your tips and tricks! Great ideas and solutions!
Yes!! I love that hack! Thank you so much for sharing!💕
When all are inside pot just shake the coffee pot around about 1 or 2 mins and rinse out pot w warm water and your coffee/tea pot will look brand new!! Great information here!! Keep em' coming!!
All you need is cut up lemons, salt, and ice cubes!!
@@aliciashirley5210 Thanks for the tip!
This is the first time I've seen your channel. You have blown me away with your original ideas. Thanks
Welcome! I’m so happy you’re here. I’m delighted you enjoyed the hacks. You’re a sweetheart!💕
How on earth do you keep you home so magnificently clean with six people in your home?.? I am amazed how neat and clean everything is. Seeing your home, makes me want to reclean my home!
My kiddos are a big help cleaning up. I like a tidy space. I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!💕
Lisa, I love your ideas. But I just wanted to let you know, the newspaper for cleaning windows wasn't the paper, it was because newspapers contained ammonia.
Thank you! That’s great to know about the newspaper. I appreciate the tip!
Yes
I put sidewalk chalk from Dollar Tree in my silverware chest and in with my jewelry to prevent it from tarnishing. If it’s tarnish free when you store it, it will stay that way.
What?!? That’s awesome! I had no idea that would work. Thanks for the tip!💕
Wow
I love the necklace hack I went right in and I was wearing the same size that kept getting tangled and didnt look right so I went in the bathroom after 5 minutes of not being able to see the holes lol. I then hooked them together, and it worked perfectly so now my beautiful cross is longer then my beautiful gold heart. Thank you so much.
Hurray! I’m so happy the hack worked for you. It’s one of my favorites. I hope you have a wonderful week!💕
@@LisaBurningham😊
Right? This hack alone is worth the price of admission! I was blown away❤❤❤❤
23:44 i do this but i add a hefty squirt of bottled lemon juice that i use exclusively for for cleaning (as it is cheaper than using fresh lemons and i use fresh lemons exclusively for any edibles), i then microwave for FIVE minutes, allow to sit for ten minutes (this allows liquid in bowl to cool enough that it wont burn me, wipe out microwave with a microfiber dishrag, then use remaining liquid to clean my kitchen-counters, bathroom-vanity, and everything of toilet except the bowl-interior lol… zero waste
The wrapping paper on the table idea is great ..also pull the tables apart a little bit and you can use the split as a easy guide to cut your paper with a sharp knife instead of using scissors. I wrapped presents all day using this idea omg ...i just think if i had to cut with scissors, it would have taken two days ...,because i was wrapping so fast and it took me an entire day.
Love that idea! I’ll definitely give it a try. Thanks for the hack!💕
The ink on newspaper has changed. It does not work on cleaning the windows as in the old days.
I’ve never seen the necklace hack for layering. Very cool.
Thank you! I’m happy you liked it!💕
Great idea. FYI - the strawberries water left over is not as dirty as you think. That natural dye from the strawberries. Pesticides that you referred to would not color the water. It’s naturally occurring residue.
Thanks for the tip! Have a wonderful weekend!💕
I saved newspapers to peel vegetables on. They can go into the composter with the newspaper. I also tend to save the flyers because I’m sure I’m gonna have to move again someday, and they are good at wrapping and not giving off print cost me nothing
What a great idea! How clever. Thank you so much for the tip!💕
Use bug spray on headlights. I promise you won’t be sorry. Like most cleaning solution wait a few minutes before wiping off.
Oooh, I’ve never heard of that one. I’ll definitely give it a try. Thanks for the tip!💕
We squeeze lots of lemons into juice and has lemon peels. I freeze them and use them in my garbage disposal. I also use magic eraser to clean everything.
Oh, I love those ideas! Thank you so much for sharing your tips!💕
Great for a camping trip to hold the drawers while you travel so they don't slide out
Awesome idea! Thanks for sharing!💕
That's why we are here ....to give tips with kindness
Yes! I love that!💕
Really loved this video! So many wonderful tips! Thank you, Lisa, for sharing these. I think my favorites were the wrapping tips. Then again I liked the cleaning tips, the contact lens case hacks, the shoe rack tips, the pillow case hack...all of them!!

You can also bend paper clips and useas a ornament hanger.
Love that idea! Thanks for the tip!💕
I’m excited, I’m going to purchase the eye glass case to put my lipstick & lip balm inside.
Yes!! What an awesome idea! That would be a perfect spot for lipsticks. Thanks for the tip!💕
Holy smokes!!!! Love this set of hacks! Proud of you
Thanks sweetie! I’m happy you liked them!😘
18:49 i do this exact thing same ratio except i keep the sponge/brush in my shower and run it over all my surfaces before i turn off the water after i use said shower lol makes weekly deep cleaning sooooooo much easier lol
How cool is it when your Best gal moves into your neighborhood??? So excited to watch NataLee’s video and see how close y’all now live. So much fun shenanigans will ensue! Always love a good hack video to start out the year getting organized. Happy New Year!!! 🎊 🎉🤍🪩
Right?! I’m so excited NataLee’s right up the street! I’m happy you liked the hacks. I appreciate your kind words! Have a wonderful day!💕
I get a lot of unprinted newspaper in my amazon orders. I have saved enough for a years cleaning lol
I love that idea! So smart. Thanks for sharing!💕
WOW! So many great, useful hacks!!
I especially love all of the many great uses for vinegar, baking soda, lemons, and salt. Fabulous!!!
Thank you so much!💕
An eyeglass case is perfect for a small pair of scissors, a needle and thread for sewing, knitting or crochet.
Oh, I love that idea! What a great spot for your sewing items. Thanks for sharing sweet lady!💕
Ok, contact lens cases, solution to carrying larger varieties of spices for camping or RV travel, or diabetic sugars for coffee/tea when visiting those who may not have your specific additive.
Love it! What a great idea. You’re so clever. Thank you for sharing!💕
One thing I do with strawberries is I do the same thing as you however, I take all the greenery off first because they’re filthy and then went after I’ve had it in baking soda for a little bit. I’ll actually add vinegar and then after a little while I’ll reload and it keeps them so bright and beautiful I’ll rinse it real well put them back in the dish rack so they drain offin that basket and then put them back in the container in the fridge food for thought
That totally makes sense to remove the stems and leaves first! I love your hack. I will give it a try. Thank you so much!💕
Lisa, what a wonderful hack with those frames in the drawer for spices. I love all your hacks thank you so much your home is beautiful.
Thank you so much! I’m happy you liked the hacks!💕
You can so use any oxyclean cleaner is great for your washing machine. 5 Wool balls work so well in your dryer to keep the wrinkles out of your clothes and keeps the static at bay. Also, I am a massage therapist I keep my sheets from smelling like oil is 1/2 cup baking soda and a 1/2 cup of vinegar for oil stains. Been doing that for years! I use vinegar every dishawasher use. I use it in the spot where the wet dry goes. It helps the keep clouds off glasses and it keeps my dishwasher so much cleaner on the regular.
Thank you so much for your awesome hacks! I really appreciate your tips. Have a wonderful weekend!💕
Always love your videos. They are so imformative and realistic. Thank you for all the info. There are many that I plan on implementing into my organization. Very needed organization.
Thank you! I’m so happy you enjoyed the hacks. I really appreciate your kind words. I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!💕
Happy 2024, my sweet friend! It was fun watching all these great hacks, especially the storage ideas. I have used the over-the-door shoe organizers many times, both in the house and in our travel trailer. Love all the ideas for under the sink and drawer storage, too. Now, if I can only remember them! Thanks for sharing!❤
Happy 2024!! I’m excited about a fresh new year. I’m sure your home and camper is well organized. I appreciate all your kind words. Blessings to your sweet friend!💕
I have a cleaning business, and I do this with pillow cases all the time, including in my own home.
Awesome! I appreciate you letting me m know!💕
Great hack for layering necklaces !
Thank you so much! It’s one of my favorites!💕
I store my earrings on an old, but much loved frame that had been dropped and had broken the glass. I removed the backing and hot-glued in some plastic canvas (for cross-stitching), and it's the perfect way to store/hang earrings. It’s easy to see your earrings and keep them in pairs.
Great idea! That sounds like a perfect way to hang your earrings. I appreciate the tip!
@@LisaBurningham ❤️
HNY!🎊 Thank you so much for the great hacks!! I especially loved the soda/strawberry, wooden spoon, and leather cleaning paste hacks!!
Thank you! I’m so happy you liked the hacks. I appreciate your kind words. Happy New Year!💕
So many wonderful hacks, Thank you Lisa!
Thank you! I’m happy you liked them!💕
I have used vinegar in my washing machine too. But then I read that vinegar can eventually effect water pipes in a bad way.
Thanks for the heads up!💕
Can use eyeglass cases (dollar tree) to make separate cases nail kit, first aid kit, makeup kit for purse most small items that need a container
Yes! What a great idea. Thank you for sharing your hack!💕
Lisa ,Thank you for the great tips.
Thank you! I’m happy you liked the tips!💕
FYI the brown water from the spoons is brown because of the tannins in the wood. The spoons cellulose fibers will swell being in water that long then will harbor more bacteria. Not sure of an alternative maybe vinegar for a shorter period of time. Love all the “hacks” ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the tip! I appreciate it!💕
Great hacks! 👏👏👏. Thank you! God bless you and your family.
Thank you sweet friend! Blessings to you and yours!💕
7:04 could use the container the strawberries came in as your strainer lol also i love that you use baking soda bc everyone else uses vinegar and i found that for me vinegar baths changed how the fruit tasted to me so thank you
Awesome tip! Thanks for the idea!
@@LisaBurninghamand free (one of my favorite four-letter f-words the other is food lmao)

Really loved this video. Have it saved so I can refer to it when I need to. My home is small, so every inch of space counts. I especially like the tension rod over the door hack and using the shoe organizer for my ribbons and craft supplies. Just subscribed so I don't miss any of your other videos. Hope you have a blessed day.
Welcome! I’m so happy you liked the hacks. I appreciate your kind words. I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!💕
Lisa, this was an incredible hack video! Saving it to rewatch! I truly needed this too. I want to personally thank you for being there for Natalee when she was sick. It was hard to watch her go through this and knowing there wasn’t anything I could do to help her. 😢 all I could do was pray that God would put someone in her healing path to help her regain her health. I found your amazing channel through Natalee. Good friends are hard to find these days and I’m glad you have each other to lean on. Again, thanks for the amazing hacks! So many I had never heard of! All the best to you and your family for the new year.
Thank you! I’m happy you liked the hacks. NataLee is one of my dearest friends. I was grateful to be able to help her through her health challenges. I appreciate your kind words. You’re so sweet!💕

9:11 i live in a rural county a small town and every house gets the county newspaper once sometimes twice a week I’ve never had to pay for it lol and im all about maximum usage and being exceedingly frugal bc i live on a fixed income so im excited about this particular hack lol
Wow! I want to keep all of these hacks. Amazing! Thank you for these. 😊
Thank you! I’m so happy you liked them. I appreciate your kind words!💕
thank you for sharing.
Thank you!
Great tips
Thank you so much!💕
For the thicker necklace...try using a milkshake straw. WalMart carries them.
Awesome idea! Thanks for the tip!💕
Thank you for your inspiration
Thank you!💕
You can use ketchup for cleaning silver as well.
Awesome! Thanks for the tip!
I use newspaper as well for cleaning my windows and mirrors and glasstop tables. I love the results using a soapy dishcloth or sponge with Dawn dishwashing liquid and just water. scrub it all down and wipe it all off with the newspapers. It works the best for patio doors because the dawn cuts through the oils from the pool, pesticides that blow on your window from your yard, and especially all that grease and smoke that finds a home after Summer BBQs. Love the lint roller hack. Thanks for sharing all these helpful tips. Have a great summer everyone!
Thank you for the amazing tips! I appreciate you sharing. Have a wonderful weekend!💕
You can use shake straws for your chunkier necklaces.
Love that idea! Thanks for sharing your tip!💕
14:38 lol i just use a dry coffee filter lol shines up beautifully lol cheaper than lemons too lol
Great video. I was thinking the tension rod would be great for my ribbons as well. ❤

Thank you! I’m happy you liked the hacks. Have a wonderful weekend!💕
Hey Lisa, just one thing, citric acid can eat thru metal, I go thru 1 metal lemon squeezer a year, I give it a quick rinse but it always cracks. Having said that, if you’re gonna use lemon to clean your beautiful faucets, you really must rise well with water ❤️
Love that tip! Thank you so much for sharing it with me. I appreciate it!💕
I just found you. I was watching a video from 8 months ago. The urn in the hydro dipped paint sold me on you!!!!!
Yay! Welcome! I’m so happy we found each other. I appreciate your kind words and support!💕
To clean silver .... aluminum pan, baking soda and boiling water. Stir baking soda submerge silver items in the water instantly becomes clean .dry items.
Awesome! I’ll have to give that a try. Thanks for the tip!💕
Wrap the clean silver in handiwrap or saran wrap! It will help it to stay shiny longer!
Awesome! Thank you for the tip!💕
I use wire rack to hang belts and broom and dustpan too
That’s so smart!

20:48 there’s a lady who’s like a grandmother to me (i call her grammaw). She once worked in a jewelry shop and her tip for cleaning jewelry is to make a paste of baking soda and water and buff pieces with it… this would work for your silver pieces too lol
Great tips! Ty!
Thank you am much!💕

I agree that vinegar is a great cleaning agent, but should not be used to excess in a machine with rubber hoses, as the hoses will deteriorate.
Thanks for the tip! I appreciate it!
Where did you get your gold and lucite stacked round trays?
Those trays are from Temu.
Just an fyi for the thicker necklace chains , mcdonalds have a bigger straw and maybe where you buy milk shakes they may have a bigger straw , my ice cream shop has huge straws ! Hope this helps !
Thank you so much! I love that. I appreciate you sharing!💕
