I have been adding vinegar to my laundry machine for a couple of years now…..the vinegar is a natural softener (and less expensive than softener) and (gentle) “bleaching” agent! My clothes come out beautiful and smell clean!
I use baking soda in with the laundry detergent, and the vinegar in the softener cup. Unfortunately I have to go to a laundromat, but this also helps with static from the dryer. I have not used dryer sheets since 2003. Plus, if you look on the web for what they put into the dryer sheets, it is horrible ingredients.
Great idea. FYI - the strawberries water left over is not as dirty as you think. That natural dye from the strawberries. Pesticides that you referred to would not color the water. It’s naturally occurring residue.
When I clean my stainless steel sink,I put some of the salt on the lemon and it helps scour any build up too. They work great together. Then, just take them both and throw them in your disposal, turn it on and you have two jobs done. Love this hack! Thanks for all your tips and tricks! Great ideas and solutions!
When all are inside pot just shake the coffee pot around about 1 or 2 mins and rinse out pot w warm water and your coffee/tea pot will look brand new!! Great information here!! Keep em' coming!!
I myself got some little decorative nails and started hanging my necklaces on the wall in the bathroom. I'm 65 years old and I still have some really fun necklaces from when I was a teenager they're not what I want to wear now days but. I just can't get rid of them, the memories you know. Now I can see my memories hanging on the wall instead of tucked away in the jewelry box.
That's wonderful also if you want to keep them & enjoy seeing them you can dress up lamp shades, pillows, curtains at the top or tie backs, shower curtains ceiling fan pulls just shorten the chains or just keep the charms corner of picture frames and even add one to someone specials 🎁 hope this helps
Instead of buying silver cream cleaner...take some baking soda, and the squeeze some lemon juice into the baking soda. Use just enough to make a paste. Take a soft tooth brush or rag and put the paste all over the silver piece. Let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse with warm water and dry with a soft clean cloth. Makes silver look brand new!
I have a friend who works in a show store who told me to never dry your shoes on the dryer. It breaks down the glue and they won't last as long. Air dry stuffed with newspaper instead.
This reminds me of back in the 1970s, when my sister decided to dry her shoes in the oven of our wood-burning stove… they were dry when she took them out, but the soles has separated from her shoes! LOL Even back then, stuffing with newspaper was the recommended treatment for wet shoes, but she thought she knew better. :) A university education isn't everything…
I saved newspapers to peel vegetables on. They can go into the composter with the newspaper. I also tend to save the flyers because I’m sure I’m gonna have to move again someday, and they are good at wrapping and not giving off print cost me nothing
How on earth do you keep you home so magnificently clean with six people in your home?.? I am amazed how neat and clean everything is. Seeing your home, makes me want to reclean my home!
I love the necklace hack I went right in and I was wearing the same size that kept getting tangled and didnt look right so I went in the bathroom after 5 minutes of not being able to see the holes lol. I then hooked them together, and it worked perfectly so now my beautiful cross is longer then my beautiful gold heart. Thank you so much.
23:44 i do this but i add a hefty squirt of bottled lemon juice that i use exclusively for for cleaning (as it is cheaper than using fresh lemons and i use fresh lemons exclusively for any edibles), i then microwave for FIVE minutes, allow to sit for ten minutes (this allows liquid in bowl to cool enough that it wont burn me, wipe out microwave with a microfiber dishrag, then use remaining liquid to clean my kitchen-counters, bathroom-vanity, and everything of toilet except the bowl-interior lol… zero waste
I also use a rag that's pretty damp with just playing water then put time for a bout a minute and half. Let it sit so it will steam and wipe with a towel.
18:49 i do this exact thing same ratio except i keep the sponge/brush in my shower and run it over all my surfaces before i turn off the water after i use said shower lol makes weekly deep cleaning sooooooo much easier lol

I put sidewalk chalk from Dollar Tree in my silverware chest and in with my jewelry to prevent it from tarnishing. If it’s tarnish free when you store it, it will stay that way.
The thing about keeping dishwashers clean with a cup of vinegar is great. But you can also put vinegar in the rinse aid spot instead of rinse aid. This works wonderful for people who have hard water. It keeps your dishwasher cleaner, keeps the hard water buildup from happening inside of the dishwasher, and keeps the water spots off of your dishes.

I am blown away!😲 These ideas are fantastic! Not only are they beautiful, creative and frugal but so practical! Thank you so much for all these tips, hacks and ideas. One of my favorite videos!😄 Love your channel ❤
When you go to pour your window cleaner in the bottle you don't even need the funnel. Turn the mixing cup around and stick the handle in the bottle and pour in that way
I read that you should put closer to a quarter cup of baking soda and swish around before putting fruit in. Then swish fruit in the water. W harder fruit- rub in your hands
The wrapping paper on the table idea is great ..also pull the tables apart a little bit and you can use the split as a easy guide to cut your paper with a sharp knife instead of using scissors. I wrapped presents all day using this idea omg ...i just think if i had to cut with scissors, it would have taken two days ...,because i was wrapping so fast and it took me an entire day.
If you have more flower stems, hang a tension rod near the top (with room for the flowers) and use the same technique you did. Then hang some of the self standing acrylic frames you already showcased upside down from the first tension rod. That will create a "back" so when you put your next tension rod in a bit farther forward and a bit lower, you can store another row of flowers. You can keep repeating to fit the size of your cupboard or shelf. You'll be able to see all the flowers you store. Keep in mind the more you store, the more tug there is on the upper tension rods.
Really loved this video! So many wonderful tips! Thank you, Lisa, for sharing these. I think my favorites were the wrapping tips. Then again I liked the cleaning tips, the contact lens case hacks, the shoe rack tips, the pillow case hack...all of them!! Love love love your channel!! Hope your Christmas was amazing and the New Year will be even better!! Take care and God bless you and yours!! 💖💖

To clean silver .... aluminum pan, baking soda and boiling water. Stir baking soda submerge silver items in the water instantly becomes clean .dry items.
One thing I do with strawberries is I do the same thing as you however, I take all the greenery off first because they’re filthy and then went after I’ve had it in baking soda for a little bit. I’ll actually add vinegar and then after a little while I’ll reload and it keeps them so bright and beautiful I’ll rinse it real well put them back in the dish rack so they drain offin that basket and then put them back in the container in the fridge food for thought
How cool is it when your Best gal moves into your neighborhood??? So excited to watch NataLee’s video and see how close y’all now live. So much fun shenanigans will ensue! Always love a good hack video to start out the year getting organized. Happy New Year!!! 🎊 🎉🤍🪩
Hey Lisa, just one thing, citric acid can eat thru metal, I go thru 1 metal lemon squeezer a year, I give it a quick rinse but it always cracks. Having said that, if you’re gonna use lemon to clean your beautiful faucets, you really must rise well with water ❤️
You can so use any oxyclean cleaner is great for your washing machine. 5 Wool balls work so well in your dryer to keep the wrinkles out of your clothes and keeps the static at bay. Also, I am a massage therapist I keep my sheets from smelling like oil is 1/2 cup baking soda and a 1/2 cup of vinegar for oil stains. Been doing that for years! I use vinegar every dishawasher use. I use it in the spot where the wet dry goes. It helps the keep clouds off glasses and it keeps my dishwasher so much cleaner on the regular.
We squeeze lots of lemons into juice and has lemon peels. I freeze them and use them in my garbage disposal. I also use magic eraser to clean everything.
I use newspaper as well for cleaning my windows and mirrors and glasstop tables. I love the results using a soapy dishcloth or sponge with Dawn dishwashing liquid and just water. scrub it all down and wipe it all off with the newspapers. It works the best for patio doors because the dawn cuts through the oils from the pool, pesticides that blow on your window from your yard, and especially all that grease and smoke that finds a home after Summer BBQs. Love the lint roller hack. Thanks for sharing all these helpful tips. Have a great summer everyone!
I store my earrings on an old, but much loved frame that had been dropped and had broken the glass. I removed the backing and hot-glued in some plastic canvas (for cross-stitching), and it's the perfect way to store/hang earrings. It’s easy to see your earrings and keep them in pairs.
Ok, contact lens cases, solution to carrying larger varieties of spices for camping or RV travel, or diabetic sugars for coffee/tea when visiting those who may not have your specific additive.
I think this is your very best video, although I have loved all of your videos!!! Thank you for these. I had to share it with my 6 granddaughters and many friends, also my daughter.🙏💕🙏
Happy 2024, my sweet friend! It was fun watching all these great hacks, especially the storage ideas. I have used the over-the-door shoe organizers many times, both in the house and in our travel trailer. Love all the ideas for under the sink and drawer storage, too. Now, if I can only remember them! Thanks for sharing!❤
Happy 2024!! I’m excited about a fresh new year. I’m sure your home and camper is well organized. I appreciate all your kind words. Blessings to your sweet friend!💕
You can still use a straw for your thicker necklaces just carefully slice it open and insert the necklace. The straw should then naturally close up on itself and your necklace. OR just use a thicker straw for slushes and bubble tea. BestWishes!
7:04 could use the container the strawberries came in as your strainer lol also i love that you use baking soda bc everyone else uses vinegar and i found that for me vinegar baths changed how the fruit tasted to me so thank you
If I were storing my scissors on a tension rod, I think carabiner hooks would be handier than shower curtain rings. Also, where you used a wooden skewer to clean around your cooker top, I use a toothbrush. Toothbrushes are great for cleaning around those awkward areas where a cloth doesn't reach properly, like around the base of taps (faucets) or around the knobs on a cooker. Not finding fault, just letting you know what works for me. Thank you for all the tips that I hadn't thought of yet! :) Great video!
Also, weekly pill containers work well to store jewellery items and other small things when travelling. I wear contact lenses, but find the pill organisers more useful than contact lens containers as they usually hold more.
Always love your videos. They are so imformative and realistic. Thank you for all the info. There are many that I plan on implementing into my organization. Very needed organization.
Hi Lisa, you are amazing with these special tips! I will definitely try the hack for cleaning your running shoes. Happy New Year! Always love to watch your videos! ❤❤
Love the baby proof draws, actually love em all so far they are really things you need not just stupid things ppl just do with things that they can, if that makes sense, thank you😄
I have to tell you thank you so much for that organizer tip for the pantry. I have a very tall pantry closet in our apartment that was also set up is used for a clothes closet for whatever reason I don't know. The shoe rack idea is perfect for what I needed to organize all of my box goods. There is only one shelf in that closet at the top and one at the very bottom. The very bottom I keep my canned goods and I got in the organization things for the the canned goods but nothing for the boxes I have a bunch of baskets hanging from a rod with bungee cords. The stuff falls out every time you try to get a box out of there it's just a mess and I've been trying to find ways to organize this closet I can't even close the doors because of the amount of stuff that I have and I've had to store on the floor. So thank you thank you thank you so much for this tip it really saved me.
Really loved this video. Have it saved so I can refer to it when I need to. My home is small, so every inch of space counts. I especially like the tension rod over the door hack and using the shoe organizer for my ribbons and craft supplies. Just subscribed so I don't miss any of your other videos. Hope you have a blessed day.
Lisa, I love your ideas. But I just wanted to let you know, the newspaper for cleaning windows wasn't the paper, it was because newspapers contained ammonia.
Correct you are, however it's the combination of the ammonia and also the fact that newspaper doesn't leave behind any paper dust or remnants of the newspaper because of the way it is produced
Looking at U, from Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies. Love your ideas , some of which I already knew. Thanks, I love them all. In fact, i learned some new ones. .Thanks again.
Thanks for the tips! The laundry tips were perfect! During your video an ad came on and it was about health, I don't remember who it was but he was a naturalist lets say, and to make this short, they mentioned apples can cause brain fog and skin issues. My husband has been through rain cancer, lung and lymph node cancer. Hes been having major itchy skin issues and brain fog. I know it could be related to his treatments a year ago etc., but he does eat apples everyday in his oatmeal. Anyway, we are going to try and eliminate the apples and see if this doesnt help clear up some issues, it's worth a try. Had I not watched your video, I would have not seen the add, who knows, it's worth a try. Anything at this point is something we are willing to try. God bless.
Thank you! I’m so happy you liked the tips. Most importantly I’m overjoyed you found information for your husbands health! I wish you and him many blessings for good health and prosperity!💕
Silicone straws will do the same thing as the plastic straws. You can get wider straws for thicker necklaces. No need for plastic and the straws will last forever.
That's why we are here ....to give tips with kindness

I do this, too, but be aware the vinegar can be harsh on the inside of your washer it you have metal parts. Keep an eye on it.
@@lauriefuhry6642 It's also corrosive to any rubber parts.
The vinegar is also good for helping to repel pet hair from your clothes

I wouldn't use newspaper if shoes are wet the ink will transfer😊
Put the wet shoes on their sides and place them in front of the bottom of your fridge over night. They will be dry by morning. Works every time!
A sock with rice will do 😊
Some great tips. I also love that you don't yap endlessly like some presenters do. You give the info quick and to the point

The ink on newspaper has changed. It does not work on cleaning the windows as in the old days.
This is the first time I've seen your channel. You have blown me away with your original ideas. Thanks

The thing about keeping dishwashers clean with a cup of vinegar is great. But you can also put vinegar in the rinse aid spot instead of rinse aid. This works wonderful for people who have hard water. You can use shake straws for your chunkier necklaces.
Love that idea! Thanks for sharing your tip!💕
You can use dishwasher tablets in your washing machine as well.
Great tip! Thank you!💕
8:24 I washed mirrors with newspapers!
I use a butter knife to clean the cracked part of a kitchen table with a very damp terry cloth rag.
Great idea! So smart!
For the thicker necklace...try using a milkshake straw. WalMart carries them.
Awesome idea! Thanks for the tip!💕
You can use ketchup for cleaning silver as well.
Awesome! Thanks for the tip!
Wright's silver cleaner is THE very best cleaner I have ever used!!!
It’s awesome stuff!👍
You need to use the dome for your food everytime so it wont splatter.
Thanks for the tip!💕
Great video! Can the coupon for washing machine tablets be used on Amazon?
Yes! The coupon code should still work.
These are fabulous! I love your story of the newspapers, I always keep them for the same purpose 😊
Thank you! I’m happy you liked the hacks. Have a wonderful weekend!💕
Thank you for the tips!💕

Zest the lemons before you use them for cleaning! Freeze strips or shreds of lemon zest to use in cooking.
Great tip! Thank you!
Hurray! I’m so happy you liked the pantry tip. I hope it will work in your closet. I appreciate your kind words. Have a wonderful day!💕
put your cutting board in sink dump boiling water on it,let it set til cool, clean..
Thanks for the hack!💕
Wrap the clean silver in handiwrap or saran wrap! It will help it to stay shiny longer!
Awesome! Thank you for the tip!💕

Thank you! That’s great to know about the newspaper. I appreciate the tip!
Yes
Correct you are, however it's the combination of the ammonia and also the fact that newspaper doesn't leave behind any paper dust or remnants of the newspaper because of the way it is produced
Such an amazing video, Lisa! So many useful hacks. You are so very creative to come up with all these ideas. Thank you so much and take care.💕💕💕💕💕
Thank you sweet lady! I’m happy you liked the hacks. I hope you had a wonderful holiday break. Wishing you a blessed new year my friend!💕
Add a couple of drops of essential oil to the water and vinegar for your windows. It will help keep it streak free.

What can I use for cemetery fake flowers ? Need to be water proof sun proof too. Any suggestions please ? 😊
Most artificial flowers are sun and waterproof. They may fade over time, but they will last a few months at least!
@@LisaBurningham thank you what container is best wood or the green square to put in ??
Wow, love this video!!! Lots of great hacks, i wish i was half as creative. 😊
Thank you so much! I’m happy you liked the hacks!💕
Awesome tip! Thank you for sharing your idea!💕
I really enjoyed this video! I learned several hacks that I will be utilizing in my home. ❤
Thank you so much! I’m happy you liked the hacks. Have a wonderful week!💕
I use wire rack to hang belts and broom and dustpan too
