These lessons are PURE GOLD! It's extremely generous of Paul Katz to post them for musicians around the world.
THANK YOU!
Thanks for your support John!
Even though I am 8 months in learning the cello, this was helpful.
I feel like I were participating in some masterclass here... It makes me being aware of the quality (or more lack of high quality) of my sound. So much to work on!
❤️Cellobello❤️
I really like her approach on using the vibrato. First the Sound, second the vibrato.
That’s the only way I can do it. Sound first vibrato second
Excellent explanation of the approaching of the expressions of vibrato in thinking and playing. I am wondering about whether cellobello could do a whole series with this exceptional cellist or persuade her to writing a theoretical (and practical book) about technique, interpretation, intellectual and mental skills etc.
Thanks for this great lesson
Glad you liked it Helena!
I broke both of my wrists a couple of years ago and now getting back to playing the cello. I still have a slow vibrato sometimes but getting better.
It is so good to hear that you are playing the cello again. Keep up the good work Amy!
Thank you for video!
Welcome Bogen Bogen!
Muchas gracias!
De nada Luis Alfredo, gracias por ver el video!
I agree Marcy...Like the old lady in the church choir with that slow wide vibrato you just can't miss, but wish you could. :) If I start hearing that, I'll quit as well! lol
Как сделать перевод на русский язык?
which strings is she using ?
Jarger A and D
Spiracore tungsten C and G
Who is Shaandaar Vague ? I think that the subtitle is not accurate enough
Sandor Vegh. He was the first violinist of the Vegh quartet, which was one of the finer quartets of the time.
Flat wrist. This concept is beaten to death. There are a number of ways to play the fingerboard with the wrong technique and maintain a flat wrist. So what
Pretty low level.
