My heart is so full of love for this little beauty. Isn't it amazing how we can fall instantly in love with animals, and still have more love for more animals!
It is amazing! I spend time caring for wildlife on our property. The majority is devoted to birds. Daily feeding, watering, cleaning, tending to nest boxes, caring for native plants & berries, the list goes on & on. Not to mention simply watching & listening to them. I accept that not many will understand when I cry tears of joy when the bluebirds fledge or tears of sadness when a Chickadee’s nest & eggs are destroyed. Only someone that has loved a wild thing, like these beautiful eagles could understand. I guess we’re flocks of a feather. Lol.
@@nicinoz Thank you! I agree. But in all honesty, I receive much more back from them than I give. Just by simply being able to watch them each day. And the trust developed w/some over the yrs. They’ll always be wild, not my pets. But many accept both my dog & I, often eating a couple feet away throughout the day. But that’s taken yrs. I’m the one blessed to be tolerated. Lol.
Earlier this morning Jackie had been singing a morning song to Spirit. Jackie always teaches Spirit new things everyday. Today l believe Spirit if trying to find her singing voice.
I don't recall ever seeing Spirit's pupils before. The color of her eyes seems to be changing. Our little one is growing up so fast! What is a peal call? Does it have a specific purpose? She's had great role modeling on all kinds of calls from Jackie, so she should get this one down pdq! What a lovely eaglet! Thank you CC!
She is so very beautiful.. I really wish they would put a band on her with her name on it too... She needs to be tracked to her new home so that hopefully we can continue to follow her through her new adventures. Everyone loves her dearly !!!!

Well, we were just used to hearing Simba 😆 No earplugs or lowering the volume needed for Spirit, even when she has her moments.
