Beautiful. There's no way around it, to get something this nice it takes time and money. I've gotten cheaper, easier to build greenhouses before and they don't last or look nearly as good as this one.
Good morning: this is a great and beautiful greenhouse. Thank you. I wonder if you can share details instruction so I can build similar for my wife. Thank you
Hello. What a good looking greenhouse. Do u have time to send me the plans and mesurments of the foundation and the whole constructions of the greenhouse:)?
Thanks I got a greenhouse given back to me still in box of course my plants already going in raised beds so yeah this is going to be fun! I need a wooden base to attach this greenhouse onto so tomato plants have room as it’s only 7 ft tall in center thinking a 3 ft base should be fine thank god it’s only a 10x10 lol but has the 6mil green up block which tomatos and bell peppers need in this south texas Hell’s Kitchen. Again thank you for vid
This was so great to watch. Thank you! We have a 12x18 from Cedar Built in 8 huge boxes on our driveway, waiting to be put up. Can I ask how deep the gravel is beneath your frame foundation? I was planning to embed the foundation frame at least partly within the gravel, what do you think of this plan? Our location is more exposed than yours and I thought it might increase the stability. Any advice or suggestions you guys have would be very gratefully received!
The gravel trenches were roughly 8-10" deep. The timber foundation sits on that much much gravel. We made sure not to put the rocks on soil that was not already compacted. Be careful, because the weight of the structure will cause settlement and then throw everything else off. Depending on how well draining your soil is and how compacted the dirt is underneath you don't necessarily need that much gravel. If you are concerned about lateral forces moving your structure I would recommend adding either rebar into the timber foundation (pound them through) or earth anchors in every corner. Our structure is well buffeted from the wind so this is not an issue. The friction added from a few inches of extra gravel is negligible (I use to work as a structural engineer). Helical anchors connected into the timber foundation is probably the easiest solution.
How are corner posts attached to ground beams that lay on gravel? Also no foundation set in concrete?whats stopping it from blowing over?? Beautiful structure though.
This spot is protected from the wind. We decided it wasn’t worth the extra cost and difficulty to put down a concrete foundation. If I were to do it again I would probably do concrete though for a variety of reasons. Corner posts are screwed to the wall sections which are screwed to the wood foundation. Cheers from Boise.
We have 2 mango trees and 1 achacha at the moment. We have ordered a couple citrus tress for the spring. It's currently too cold to ship. We are doing a pomello and calamansi tree.
First, let me say congratulations on a great job building this beautiful greenhouse. This is by far the nicest greenhouse I've found on UA-cam. I'll go explore their website. I'm actually designing and planning to build a 10'x20' cedar greenhouse so my questions for you are: 1) after having and using this for a full year, would you change anything?; 2) do you find the center wall division useful? The time-lapse was brilliantly executed.
I would modify a few thing. First of all, I would use the best insulating material possible, even if it scarifies a bit on the looks. So, if ordering this again I would get the triple wall panels. I would also consider pouring a concrete pad, although there are pros and cons of doing that. We wired in 2 220v outlets and this is a must if you are planning to use this all year. You need good electrical heaters. However, the biggest difficulty is actually the summer time. I would seriously consider venting in a large evaporative cooler through one of the walls. It's a full year hobby that requires a lot of attention. It is rewarding, but time consuming, especially if you plan to grow more exotic plants. As far as the middle wall, I am assuming you mean the pillars in the center, I do like having those. It gives me something that I can let a vine grow up. Best of luck! It's worth it.
depends on what time of the year we are talking about. In the winter I would say 4 hours or so. In the summer probably 8 hours. I use grow lights though, so that supplements my sun in the winter.
This is a scam...and why it's so frustrating to watch: NOT speeded up film. But a series if stills played repetitively . It's why you see and think, I just saw that, they are playing it 4,5,6 times and connecting them, ni valuable action. Why the con, have seen your manipulations before. Why not just show the steps honestly...because we really see the AFTER of each step. Nit the activity.
To be clear,, 6 weeks to build it just to put in a few deck chairs and 8-10 plants, plus a bunch of junk? Your joking right? LMAO No planting station, no shelving, just little garage sale stands. HILARIOUS!
Thanks so much for sharing this video! Because of you guys, I’ve found the right company for my future greenhouse-Cedar-built Greenhouse!!
Am tired just watching the video. Excellent workmanship
So glad to see I am not the only one who takes forever to square my base.
Absolutely beautiful, thank you for sharing
Great work on the assembly! You did an amazing job and it looks amazing.
So beautiful, wish for a green house just like that!!!

This is beautiful! I see the kit....now to look them up.
Dang, this is definitely the stuff I look for on youtube

Awesome greenhouse!!! Would love to see a video on your electrical and plumbing work if possible and a breakdown of the inside.... again great job!!!

You managed to have a jade plant in bloom at the end of your video. Congratulations!
Beautiful GH.

Thank you for an amazing video. Is it used for relaxing or garden, fruit plants?
Very nice. Could you share the specs on how you made this along with how you water and power it? ...

You must live in Tornado country sir!
Love it! Will you come build me one? Pleeeeeeeeeaase?
Looks great. Did you use glass or polycarbonate?
This was awesome! May I asked how much it cost to build? Or a rough estimate
20-30k depending on how much of the labor you do yourself and if you put in a water and electrical line (which I recommend).
Beautiful! Is that some kind of citrus fruit tree you're growing inside the greenhouse?
We have 2 mango trees and 1 achacha at the moment. We have ordered a couple citrus tress for the spring. It's currently too cold to ship. We are doing a pomello and calamansi tree.

How is it secured to the ground?
💚👍
Beautiful build, but how many hours of direct sun do both tables receive?
depends on what time of the year we are talking about. In the winter I would say 4 hours or so. In the summer probably 8 hours. I use grow lights though, so that supplements my sun in the winter.
was it a kit or did you make it yourself? are plans available?
This was a kit from Cedarbuilt Greenhouses.
Wow amazing!
I am hoping to build a wooden greenhouse. But will condensation drop water and cause mold on the wood?
Yes, it does if the water sits too long. One of the downsides of using wood.
@@Boisefruit Is cedar not resistant to mold?
@@louiseahrens5575 It is to a certain degree. But it is still an organic material that will mold if not treated properly.
So cool!
How much would this cost?
Wow!
Looks amazing! Is this from a kit? Or did you make everything yourself. Great job!
$16,000 kit
WHAT WERE THE DIMENSIONS
To build something like this need permits??
In my city you can build without a permit if less than 200 ft^2. This was just under that. Did need a permit for the electrical
now grow some 420 buds
Trop rapide. Aucune info sur les détails de la construction. Too fast. No information on construction details
Termite heaven
^Nice but wood frame directly against the ground?,,, nonono in 10 years its rotten

No I don't like time lapse sorry
To be clear,, 6 weeks to build it just to put in a few deck chairs and 8-10 plants, plus a bunch of junk? Your joking right? LMAO

you must be fun at parties
100% time-lapse, what is the point. Can't see crap.
