Brooooo I can’t even get close to extending my arms backwards so they’re parallel to the ground, I can only push up with the broom! What do you think is the key limitation in that instance?
❤🙏
Super dope. Thanks!
If my back breaks or something along they lines I’m suing no joke :I have done it feels strange
@@brianellis1371 pecs? Or sum else w/the rotator cuff.
A didnt know that range of motion was possible for a human being...
It's not.
arms aren’t going straight back but more to the sides like a Y. If they were going straight back then you would be correct
You can even do more than that, a good stretch for the shoulders that saved me through a shoulder joint pain is grabbing the stick with both hands like that and rotating your arms all the way to the glutes, I didn't think it was possible either but it is, and it's damn useful
I think I'm not doing it right. I'm standing here with a broom on my back looking like a complete moron, but I just can't move my arms one inch. It's like your shoulders aren't supposed move that way. Right?
Yeah this is really only for skinny guys tbh i just know i would tear a bicep doing this
Plot twist: he's double jointed and trolling everyone
😂😂😂😂😂
I’m still confused on how his arms can go straight back like that
@@tuckerhumphrey7693 mine can it’s pretty easy actually if you have something like the broom he used that your arms can “push” against and you can stretch your arms almost all the way if not all the way
😂😂👌
It's actually not a double jointed thing lol.. Just tried it and if you follow what he says word for word it actually works!
Pro Tip:
the closer your hands are together as you do the strech, is the harder it is to actually extend your arms. So if you have trouble doing it, just space out your hands more and then progressively bring them closer as you get better. Hope this helps.
Thanks, buddy :)

holy shit, it made my back feel like i'm 13 again. all these years of me being convinced that my back feels that way just because i've aged, gone in few repetitions. i love you, my man.
Look into yoga and such too, general stretches are great for all muscles especially if you're above 30.
Dude I just did it and my rib cage and hips and everything is releasing
@@0xsergy I've actually did start incorporating yoga and general stretching into my daily routine since writing the original comment. My back feels deeply thankful for that; I'm only in my early twenties, but have already gone through few painful episodes involving the spine.
I really, really recommend it to everyone, just give it a try and see how much better you'll feel afterwards!
@@TPGummyH If you have lower back pain really work on that whole posterior chain, especially the hamstrings. I would recommend you to try taking up a physical activity you would want to do multiple times a week like bjj or boxing or something because staying active will keep those muscles loose
@@LearnTheLandScandinavia Thanks for your advice, I've been looking into more stretch routines thanks to this channel and will try hamstrings next :)
Ever since I've switched to bike as my main commute last year, body pains became much rarer, and I feel much healthier throughout. I just still felt these points of stress in my body your regular "toss your arms around for a bit" stretch could not alleviate, and this video helped to.

Stretch all of the scalene muscles. This broomstick method may damage the deltoid area and the rotator cuff tendons.
So it's not good?
@@shamicentertainment1262
Not with this man's method. The muscles that need attention for a hunched over seated posture are not the deltoids.
