BOOM BABY!! This is exactly what the doctor ordered today.
This lower saturation technique came out absolutely gorgeous! Very natural looking!
Glad you liked it Cheryl
Love it!!! As usual thank you for sharing your experiences and all the tips 🙏🙏🙏
What color or shade did you use on roots?
I LIVE THE COLOR... AND THE WAY YOU EXPLAIN IT
HATS OFF.
Thankyou again James love it
I did learn to pain the hair 25 years ago with paint brushes in Paul Michals classes and I remember every time I was doing it in the salon I was working in all other stylists they would just look and laugh at me.😭
Most useful and very practical technique....stunning result ...Thanks James for sharing❣️❣️❣️
I love this video. I prefer the copper mocha as well. As I age, my skin tone has changed and the cooler shades make me look washed out. I will save this video for my next attempt at balayage.
thank you james .great video.your brush looks very comfy .
Thank you very much. Yes I love that paintbrush
I love this. I love you're using a regular paint brush. im definitely gonna try it!
Thank you yes try it out I love that brush ✌🏻
Thank you for this helpful video, every time something new to learn.
Wicked Amal 👍🏻
Love this! Thank you so much!!
Great your welcome 🙏🏻
Love how you think outside the box with using different things to get the result james.
Thank you Karen 👌🏻
How about for curly hair?
Stunning 💞🥰
I love your videos. I am a dyi'er I have learned so much from you.
great video james!
i recently was collecting some reverse balayage videos .
i mean different techniques of adding lowlights to hair that is mostly clean blond in order to make it look like a balayage effect.
i am truly confused , i have seen the following lowlight applications:
1) upside down half V lowlights
2) wide spaced weaves of lowlights
3) baby weave lowlights
4) large slices of lowlights
in most of the techniques some sections are painted half way down to leave some bright roots.
in many cases the results didn't look like a fresh balayage but rather a muddy results with lack of contrast and lack of bright ribbons at the roots area.
i'd love if you cover this confusing subject, and i'd love to send you some videos i collected that show the different results of each technique.
What an absolutely fantastic video idea I absolutely love your comments thank you very much
@@TheLifeOfHair Hey! You are a star!!!!!! can you add the color formula?
Hi jedi👏🏼 wow love it.... off to B and Q for me now 😉😃 superb thank you 😊
Wicked Paul give it a blast
Very pretty love your work...could i ask if you shampoo off your toner??
When are use Redken SEQ I do not shampoo off my toners but if I use any other brand I tend to shampoo it off purely based on the fact that Redken shadys EQ has got a surfactant built into it so once it is emulsified it will start to lather and turn into shampoo 👍🏻
Thank you James
Thank you Pia
Thanks pia
Fantastic James….gonna try a paintbrush now ☺️
Wonderful 🙌🏻
This was a question I asked on your live on Wednesday thank you for sharing
Could I ask if beach touches the root colour does this cause a reaction of any kind? Also was it permanent root colour if so recommend time is 40 mins max this would go over is this safe?
My client are level 3-4 and always pull warm when bleached could you give some advice and tips I use shades EQ
I was thinking to use a blue neutraliser as a add on to further help with brassiness
As far as I know Redken don’t do a Blue additive could you recommend?
Thank you In advance
Wouldn’t bleaching first then going back in doing a shadow root/pull down be easier to get a more blended look?
Appreciate it ⭐
Hello fellow artist ❤ great work. what color did you use for the roots?
Could you elaborate on how the paintbrush differs from the framer power painter?
The bristles are way less “perfect” which gives a lit more texture and blendability
Love your stuff but one Criticism. You dont show the final finishing of the hair. The way you curl the hair clearly has an effect on the overall final look
