But he also convinced them to get the exponents out. So the 49% with the exponents is with them now. And they only needed the sharks expertise to find a customer base. So it's basically a win for both the parties. Ashneer gets his equity and they get his expertise and save 49% of their equity.
"1% baant rahe hein" .. I think so too, they came for pure publicity. Ashneer was ruthlessly intelligent.. I think it's his commitment to EV that he made the offer.

R&D having legacy that's good but companies are so big ... It's sure that it'll take much more time than an startup to put innovation on cards and market ... They confidently answered the question... If that issue of middlemen was not there , more sharks would have had deal with them .
Still they are on the same stage, still they have prototype only. Nothing is ready
I agree that nothing is ready but that's the reason they have come to raise fund to level up the innovation on higher stage ... And as far as making a market is conserned , they can easily do at starting stage by putting more innovations on demand of the market . They have already explained the multi model structure of that prototype .... That's what an entrepreneur does .... But yeah it's just a start so many factors will come into play later .
Not talking about that time I am talking about current scenario, my brother is working in the same company and they have no plans just the prototype till date. They are just wasting investor's money.
