I was on a family holiday and managed to pack the Albabird thanks to the way it breaks down so small! Oh and because it's on DJI so I don't need a groundstation! I really like this location, it was fun to fly with a real nice coastline, although it was a bit windy in places near the cliffs, especially approaching the lighthouse. I had a couple of issues with the footage on this day, the Peanut had a fingerprint on the lens causing it to be a little blurry in places 🤦🏻♂️ and I've damaged a prop slightly so there's a little bit of jello in places... but I decided it was about good enough to post anyway. For anyone thinking I was deliberately flying over someone at 2:29 ... yes I was, it was my dad walking his dog 😁

Cool rugged coastline! Peanut doing it’s job very well in that wind!
Yes it was! Looking forward to seeing how the thumb pro compares...
I thought it was Mizen Head at first.
Awesome stuff Adam!
I can imagine there’s lots of places on the Irish coast that looks very similar to the Welsh coast 🤩 cheers mate 😁
Great flight.. Love my albabird ✈️
Same here! Great little plane!
what an amazing place to fly...
Lovely to fly somewhere different too. Was lucky that this was a decent spot as I didn't know what to expect until I arrived. Cheers
Very nice vid to watch! well done Adam!
Thanks Stuwe, glad you liked it. Hope you're having better luck lately!
Good job m8, must have been windy there, surprised it wasn't raining, it's good at that in Wales...🤔😳😏😏🇬🇧
Haha I was there for 4 days and not a drop 😂
beautiful, indah sekali pemandangan pesisir dari udara
Thank you! Yes I enjoyed seeing it from a different point of view as I've walked along these cliffs most years of my life
Impressive.. I live down the Gower and Wales is an amazing place.
I bet you have great scenery there too! This flight was in North Wales
Ahh, there's Adam. Haven't seen you in a while. Glad to see you haven't disappeared LOL! Fantastic flight as usual!
Haha yeah I've not been flying as much this season. Mixture of being busy, bad timing with bad weather, and flying buddies being very busy with work. Hopefully next season I'll get a lot more done. Have a couple of cool builds to get done over winter
Great stuff
Thanks 😃
stunning video. thanks !
Many thanks!
Another "Stunner" Adam-brrilliant !! I've yet to find anywhere here in NZ to match the UK scenery ! (Drambuidhe )
Thanks Nick. NZ has some of the worlds best scenery in my opinion 😎 you need to go searching hehe
Epic flying site
Yeah I got lucky here. Glad I built this plane for travel 😎
Thank you Adam!
I fly/live on the SoCal coast…..as beautiful as it is………This is truly breathtaking ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! I can imagine your coast line is also beautiful, but different 😎
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Adam, mate that is absolutely stunning. Thanks very much for this.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the support 😁
excellent
Thanks!
Good flight!
Thanks James :)
It feels very windy :) especially in your gaggles. But stabilization is great 👍
Yeah it was mostly that one spot approaching the lighthouse, and even then the peanut was having a hard time stabilising, the rest of the flight was mostly fairly calm 😎
Awesome video. This is one of my dream to make and fly fpv plane, but even after gathering all the materials I could not make it 😭. Hope you enjoy fpv flight. Cheers
Keep at it, you'll get there :)
That was just wonderful. Loved the scenery and the music was a perfect match.
Thank you very much!
Nice video - enjoyed every moment. That Peanut is an excellent camera, have two of them and they often surprise me with their mage stabilising.
Thanks Caroline :) The Peanut is great but has some downsides, I recently got a Thumb Pro which I'll be performing some testing with and comparing to the Peanut.
@@AdamGdoesFPV me too, will be testing it tomorrow :)
@@Caroline_Tyler I’ve already had a flight with mine and it even fits the peanut mounting point (just about). I forgot to change the props so there’s some vibration in it but the results looked good. First go at gyro flow and it stabilised it quite nicely.

@@AdamGdoesFPV For its low price, it really does do well!
Great vid as always. The Albie is a great plane, but the stock motors really lack thrust. I swapped them out for F80 Pro 1900kv and 7x5, much better with weighty large packs.
Thanks :) Have to say I've been quite happy with the stock motors, good speed vs flight time. Will do 120km/h if wanted, however I usually just cruise at around 80-90 most of the time
Spectacular views Adam. Thanks for sharing.
Is great to see that you were able to share the experience in realtime with your family (2:09). Added challenge, but this video part of a nice family memory.
Haha yeah having the family there was funny, my son is 4 and loves seeing it fly 😁 thankfully my sister was there to so we had multiple people watching the kids didn't run for the cliffs 😅😂
Stunning scenery .....Fantastic job !!!!!!!!
Thank you! It was a great spot to fly, i got lucky 😁
Im running out of words to express how amazing your videos are
Thank you so much 😀
Very pretty scenery! Thanks for sharing. It reminds me I need to get my planes in good flying shape again. Been spending time dialing in my small quads lately. New inav looks promising too.
Yeah get those planes ready! They're a lot if fun. I've a few quads that I haven't flown for years now :/
Wow, number 1! The image quality of the video is perfect, do you prefer the peanut or the osmo action?
Thanks 😃 no I actually prefer the Osmo Action over the peanut, for me it wins on everything apart from form factor/weight. I have a Thumb Pro to try now and that will be interesting.
Sounds great if you're into that sort of thing. I personally prefer shorter flights around 30mins :)
Beautiful scenery, love the paint job, hope your landings are smoother than Rayanairs 😀 where did you mount the peanut ? I might try putting my peanut on the Albabird, I usualy just use the DJI footage but it looks like the stabilised peanut is much better for youtube.
Most of my landings are smoother, but not all of them 😅 Peanut is mounted on top of the FPV cam using this holder: www.thingiverse.com/thing:5148028 printed in TPU. Stabilised footage is much better to watch back, not many people will bother watching raw un stabilised these days 😬
@@AdamGdoesFPV Thanks for the link, I have a similar arrangement for my DJI stuff but its on a velcro pad so I can move it from model to model easily, the velcro is the same size and area as the base plate so will not come off in flight, not tried my peanut on the Alby yet but will when I get time, I use it mostly on my 7" Iflight Chimera.
Hi Adam, I am just about to purchase a Clearview 1.3 XLR and just wondering if your mate had bought his one and how it goes. Thanks for your work and effort with the channel.
Hi, yes he did buy one but after months of trying to get it working properly he had to send it back for a refund. It also took about 3 months to be shipped from the day he ordered. He had to repair parts of it when it arrived and after many attempts couldn't get it working well. We put it down to being a faulty unit as it was terrible, but sadly this put him off getting another so I can't really give any good news unfortunately.
@@AdamGdoesFPV Thanks for the reply.
That's not good, the XLR has been discontinued now (I have just received an email from Clearview) and there is a new version being released in a couple of weeks, but, about $ 750.00. It might be worth a look?
That planes got some hours on it now. What do you like best about it compared to a wing?
Personally I find it just it a great all rounder. It's stable in most weather, medium size so it's easy to transport and fly almost anywhere... but I also love that it's really stealthy with it's super quiet twin tractor config. Oh and it will fly for a long time if you want it to! Comparing it specifically to a wing it would be the quieter flying, much more stable compared to a wing of it's size/weight and ability to break down into small parts for travel
What´s the max flight time ?
I think it would fly for an hour quite easily if I tried, maybe even 1.5h
