When Pujols started playing my parents hadn't met.
When Molina started playing I was still in the hospital.

I watched the debut of Pujols in 2001, Yadi's debut and the MV3 era of 2004/2005, the 2006 Inaugural Run with Waino's final closeout of the LCS/WS to christen Busch III, personally witnessed Pujols' presence at the 2009 HR Derby in STL(Best summer of my life), the Miracle Run of 2011, and finally, got to witness Pujols hit HR 690 in person on August 18th this year vs COL while visiting my parents in St. Louis on vacation.
Today broke STL and Cardinals Nation emotionally in so many ways. We have witnessed the storybook-esque End of an Era in St. Louis Cardinals baseball history, and another chapter of MLB history has been added to it's longstanding pages of lore

The Cardinals are one of the only organizations in all of North American Sports that gets it right. Their fans know baseball better than most and appreciate good play from both teams, they support the local team every season no matter what, and they honor their greats. Good job, St Louis. Saying goodbye to one of them would be tough, but three at the same time...

I got spoiled during the 90's and 2000's seeing my Yankees making it big. It also hurt to know that it was the end of a very special era in NY SPORTS history. Everyone, were living in some really special kind of times. Get the knowledge and wisdom from all these types of people and age groups around. Many legendary players in all sports, world positions and even amazing artists are passing on the torch to us young ppl. Absorb and listen and ask as many questions as you can, while you can..
