I'm confused my yoyo didn't even come with a second bearing or a bearing remover thingy. Plus the box was different. In case you are wondering, yes it says v6 and locus and magicyoyo on it
I just got mine in from Amazon and it came with a bag and 5 strings and a glove for your non throwing hand. It works great .responsive but not to responsive .you can learn lots of tricks on this and learn the feel for metal throws to upgrade to unresponsive
It definitely is! I'm so surprised that many call this a beginner yoyo, but when you swap out the unresponsive bearing it came with, it's a really good affordable throw. Not perfect, but for less than $13 it's really hard to beat.
Got this for my kid and it worked brilliant for 3days, the string got stuck behind the bearing. I took it apart, removed string and put on new string and now it's not responding at all😞 Any advice would be appreciated as my kid is desperate to learn these tricks 👍
Sorry for the late reply, I'm taking care of a family emergency. But if you're still using the responsive bearing, there might be a chance some or most of the bearing lube got removed from the bearing. I think some thick bearing lube may help getting the yoyo to play responsive again. Let me know if this helps.
So I actually tried this and unfortunately you will need the linger axle to use the unresponsive bearing. I tried to center the shorter axle and it barely holds and it felt like it would all fall apart if I just do a hard throw.
I don’t know why but I bought this yo-yo and it doesn’t stay spinning for so long and it’s kinda lop sided when I throw it down. I’m only a beginner so i don’t know if I should just buy a new yo-yo
I would first like to say thank you for watching the video. I would suggest not to buy another yoyo because this is a really good starter yoyo that you can grow into. Did your yoyo come with the additional narrow (responsive) bearing? Which bearing do you have installed? So when you throw a yoyo to perform a sleeper, and it's lop sided that usually means that it was thrown at an angle. I'll be making beginner videos soon to hopefully cover that. Please feel free to ask any questions! =)
My yo-yo never came with a second bearing it just came in like that and no matter how I throw it even if I get a perfect throw it will not stay spinning for a long time maybe 5 seconds at most and it will always return to me no matter what I do if I throw the yo-yo I won’t tug on the string all it will do is come up by it’s self
@@RealReactive It sounds like the bearing may need a cleaning. I have received yoyos that came like that and after a good cleaning with lighter fluid or mineral spirits can do the trick. I believe Dylan Kowalski has a tutorial on that since I haven't made a video for that yet. =)
I actually have a T5. I still prefer the V6 but it's mainly because I personally prefer more rim power which the V6 covers very well. The T5 has a sightly wider profile and a little bit smaller, still a fun yoyo but my choice is still the V6. I hope this helps. 🙂
Should I get the v6 or the v3? V3 has both bearings whereas the V6 only has responsive bearing. I’m located in the uk (London) and the v6 doesn’t come with a KK bearing (unresponsive).
Thanks for the question. Although I personally prefer the V6 because of the weight distribution more onto the rim, but I happened to have purchased mine that included both bearings. The V3 is still a great yoyo, so between the options where the V3 includes both bearings, I'd definitely go for that because it will definitely be more helpful playing with a responsive bearing first if you're new into yoyoing. I hope this helps!

Is the bearing sitting nice and snug and not crooked? Did it hit the ground or a hard surface? Is it wobbly during a sleeper? Let me know.
At what time frame in the video? -The one I do at 3 seconds in is actually just a wrist mount. I guess I can call it a wrist mount vanish but it's a wrist mount and I then let my throw hand pass underneath making all the strings crossed disappear. I also do it again at 6:08 in the video from a different angle.

I personally am not good at doing the DNA. It's possible to do the DNA on this but it's not as easy because there's no dimple to center the yoyo so you'll have to aim the string now carefully as the yoyo would be swirling on your finger.
So this would vary depending on your play preference, but I prefer the V6. It has a bit more of a rim weight distribution giving it a little more power when it hits the string.
@@YAPYOYO I got it today, but somehow it's unstable and vibrating when I throw it. Is it because my throw technique isn't good enough or does the yoyo have a problem? When I touch the yoyo carefully with a finger while it's spinning it gets stable and the vibration stops. I have read that means there is no problem with the yoyo and it's because of my throw technique. Do you agree?
@@fatezero1919 by the sound of what you described, yes. If a yoyo is unstable or I'd call it wobbly (because unstable tends to be a little different imo), it will stay wobbly at all times. Do you have it as responsive or unresponsive?

I have noticed that various MagicYoYos come with varied bearing types. From unshielded 8 ball to shielded 10 ball. Some either comes responsive, unresponsive or even both.
Sometimes your yoyo might be very tight when you have never taken it apart or when you first get it. The best I can suggest is to carefully try to (I know that's not helpful). If there's a knot or a bunch of string stuck where the bearing is at, you can try using a paperclip, and carefully loosen the strings. Real funny user name btw.
