The palm is burning because there is low humidity. You might want to get a humidifier or wait for summers. It can tolerate really harsh light so your apartment light is not the problem. For other plants burning in light, let them accumulate to it, they’ll burn and they will be fine when new leaves grow :) also, I LOVE your apartment.
ohh interesting, thank you for this!!! I actually sold it so it goes to a better home, I need to look into some house plants that will be suitable for my high light/ low humidity place!!
