  • Draymond Green gives his thoughts on the Denver Nuggets taking a 3-0 lead on the Los Angeles Lakers including Nikola Jokic's play, Jamal Murray's shot, Aaron Gordon's effort, LeBron James and Anthony Davis playing great, and D'Angelo Russell's struggles. He also discusses the Philadelphia 76ers winning Game 3 over the New York Knicks behind a 50-point effort from Joel Embiid overpowering Jalen Brunson. Finally he gets excited about the Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat series being tied and thinks we should keep an eye on that one.

      The funny thing about LeBron is the that he is still being judged as if he’s a superstar in his prime when he’s turning 40.
      Bron also won with 3 different teams and coaches while MJ won all of his with Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson.
      Comparing MJ and Bron apples to apples is stupid. Both belong in the same S Tier and are above everyone else in nba history. But you aren’t allowed to have this stance because it would kill off half the content of sports media. The debate has always been about the endless content.

    This is one of the most crushing things I have ever seen in sports. I don't see how the Lakers organization isn't getting blown up after this. I feel bad for Darvin Ham. Dude got them to the West championship the first year and then lost to the best NBA team again in the first playoff series this time. I thought AD and LeBron had a bad attitude and gave up in this last game. They are the leaders of the team and the results flow through them. Very unprofessional IMO. Now the Lakers are likely going to fire their SEVENTH coach since 2012

      Black people have historically been treated unfairly, and we don't need to go that far in the past to find a time when they were not allowed to sit on the same seats as the white folks in buses. So when a black man indirectly implies that another black man, who is a coworker (and superior in this case), did something wrong in a professional environment, then it's a little aggravating for the other black men who have also been treated unfairly in a professional environment, and didn't even have the privileges that Anthony Davis has had in his life because of the money and the fame he has acquired. I hope this clears it up. In a few words: Black people feel that they should support their brothers a bit more sometimes, because of the injustice and the racism that has been a problem in our society.

    • @NBAgladiator

      Throwing a person of color under the bus publicly is harmful in numerous ways. For some people, his comments will not only get applied to Ham, but most other black coaches. But also, it's twice as hard for a black person to get hired for the job and twice as easy to get fired, so that comment gives them an easy out.

    You could see the whole body language of the Denver team change about 3 minutes from the end of the 3rd quarter (Game 3) - it was total confidence that they had the game and the series - they started playing with their food - you saw them starting to try showtime plays most of which ended up in turnovers but they weren't phased - it was like they were taunting LA to come at them with another run - You could See Jamal Murray getting a little frustrated at the end and trying to tell the team to calm down and put them away but even he couldn't resist getting in on trying some showtime plays, which kind of undermined his message but it was a team that KNEW they had the Laker's number. The player who benefited most from the late swag bump was MPJ who is their most swaggy player and plays best when the whole team is playing with swag - he hit a couple of well contested mid range Js early in the shot clock that you would usually say were bad shots but both barely even moved the net as they swished through. Total psychological domination.

      Draymond's agent is not Rich Paul but LeBron James who is the actual owner of Klutch Sports. This is the only reason why Draymond claims that LeBron is the best player of all time.

    Brunson had 13 assists and the Knicks team shot a much higher field goal percentage than games 1 and 2. Four out of five starters had 14 points or more.
    Maybe Draymond didn’t check the stats but he mentioned Jalen’s ball dominance prevent guys like Josh Hart to score and Hart needs to score 20 points a night…..maybe he missed the part where Josh Hart literally scored 20 points last night. Terrible analysis.
    Knicks didn’t lose because of Jalen’s ball dominance. They lost because Philly shot the shit out of the ball, especially in the 3rd quarter. Embiid was spectacular, Philly got solid contributions from role players like Payne and Oubre. Knicks never recovered from that 3rd quarter barrage and that’s that.

    I now know why people say Draymond talks the most sh!t. He says limit to Jokic to 6 asts is the key, AS IF you're gonna to play zone and let him break you down. That was 2 years ago without Murray, you're not gonna stop this Serbian from finding his man like a Luka throughout the course of 48 mins because Jokic's usage rate is so high, just like Steph. Even if you're double teaming Jokic, hes still the biggest guy on the floor on most nights and match ups, which itself sets up numerous opportunities for him to impact the game such as screening, rebounding, post ups, movements involving all his teammates. Last time I checked, we couldn't even stop Jokic from hitting a half court game winner with 5 secs left, and you are trying to convince your audience to believe Jokic has a weakness?

      Why not? KD got maximized twice...2 times as Finals MVP...and 2 rings! KD is a better rim protector that anyone GSW has had since KD left. Aside from the scoring, KD's defense has been missed at GSW. Maybe they can't afford KD's contract, but his addition to that roster is coveted anyway.

    Draymond lays it out quite flat…you have to take away Jokic’s ability to make plays for his teammates, but to do so, you have to play smart ball…It also shows LeBron’s impact…at his peak, he erases those lapses, but he can’t do that consistently anymore, so the role players must play high-quality ball…taking the load off LeBron and AD offensively ain’t enough. The supporting cast has to play head-on-a-swivel basketball…

  • @leytpeter
    @leytpeter Місяць тому +2

    Dray- could AD have made that statement because they went up 20 points because lakers were running offense through him and it was like guaranteed bucket- then, they went away from him and started jerking up shots- he is not the PG, someone has to give him the ball down under…..so he got frustrated, coach should have run plays for him, is it not that simple or am I over simplifying it?

    • @brandonlill1261
      @brandonlill1261 Місяць тому +1

      Denver made adjustments with AD and AD cant score through 4 people every play.

    • @leytpeter
      @leytpeter Місяць тому +1

      That’s correct but what happened when the lakers attempted to throw an extra body to Jokic, he passed and created a better shot opportunity for someone else- why can’t the lakers do that. LBJ wants to dribble dribble dribble and pass the ball 3 secs to shoot, it’s very hard to play that offense

    • @brandonlill1261
      @brandonlill1261 Місяць тому +1

      Lebron has seeked mismatches his whole career. Denver could double and collapse AD. AD doesnt pass like Jokic, Lakers "others" really didn't take advantage. I agree with AD that players weren't as checked in as they should have been. Guy is getting 35 and 15 a night and it aint enough. Rui looks lost, dlo was on his phone instead of being in huddle

    • @leytpeter
      @leytpeter Місяць тому

      Is really DLO the problem or is it LBJ style of play and its impact to PG’s. Westbrook,Shroeder, Lanzo, Kyrie, Mario Chalmers, George Hill, Mo Williams--all these guys except for Kyrie coz he is a bonified baller, have all been blamed for not doing their job. It’s everyone’s fault but not the king

    • @brandonlill1261
      @brandonlill1261 Місяць тому

      Not on LBJ. He still getting 27/7/7 numbers efficiently. Him and AD are the only reason lakers had a chance. DLO going from 18ppg to 12ppg didnt help. Rui going from 14ppg to 5ppg hurts. Ad getting 32/13 per game helps
