Her songs made me the old school romantic I am today, she made me believe in love, she made me fall in love with my ownself, she was there with me when I was abused and the nightmares wouldn't go, she was there with me when I had no friends and offered a friendship of a lifetime, she stayed by my side when it was pouring outside and I was all alone, hiding under the bed, crying, terrified, she made me who I am, her music, her words, she's truly one of a kind, that lil 13 year old grew. I grew up, became a doctor but her, my tay-tay, she's been a constant. Be it her song about her childhood to the one where boys broke her heart to the ones that reminded her the importance of love and hope, they've all stayed with us for as long as I can imagine. I absolutely adore her, she's been an anchor for me. Listening to this song, in the midst of my exams, it feels amazing, it makes me realise how far I've come along, from being scared at the age of 13 till now, being just like her album that I adore, Fearless. Thank you Tay-tay, thank you for being such an integral part of my life. Thank you for helping me find myself through you. 💕

When I was 13, that's when I found her, listened to her all day, her songs helped me sleep at night. Her songs made me the old school romantic I am today, she made me believe in love, she made me fall in love with my ownself, she was there with me when I was abused and the nightmares wouldn't go, she was there with me when I had no friends and offered a friendship of a lifetime, she stayed by my side when it was pouring outside and I was all alone, hiding under the bed, crying, terrified, she made me who I am, her music, her words, she's truly one of a kind, that lil 13 year old grew.
I grew up, became a doctor but her, my tay-tay, she's been a constant.
Be it her song about her childhood to the one where boys broke her heart to the ones that reminded her the importance of love and hope, they've all stayed with us for as long as I can imagine.
I absolutely adore her, she's been an anchor for me. Listening to this song, in the midst of my exams, it feels amazing, it makes me realise how far I've come along, from being scared at the age of 13 till now, being just like her album that I adore, Fearless.
