Now I’m 25, listening to “Taylor’s Version” as I navigate my life as adult- unsure about everything, but at least I’m “Fearless”.
the old version was like bursting with emotions, teenage hormones spree, going with everything she had to express herself. while taylor's version is calm, seemingly just reminiscent of what went down when she wrote it and how she used to feel like when she used to sing it. ah. it's a wonderful experience. thank you, thank you, Taylor Swift.

Yes!! I second this. When my sister and I had this cd, well over 10 years ago, was such a sad and difficult time for us. We were young, preteen & teenager, completely helpless and not in control of our home life. However, when we did pop this cd in and decided to choose hope over our sadness, this CD was a light in the dark. I’m 22 now, and ofcourse life has completely changed for us. Listening to this now vs then, I’m covered in chills and a rush of joy, being reminded of how much life changes, and thinking of the little girl back then who NEEDED hope. Taylor will forever be such an important part of my coming of age and our generation. She deserves all the accolades. She knew what she was doing when she put pen to paper and wrote all of her songs. It was for us.

When my sister and I had this cd, well over 10 years ago, was such a sad and difficult time for us. We were young, preteen & teenager, completely helpless and not in control of our home life. However, when we did pop this cd in and decided to choose hope over our sadness, this CD was a light in the dark. I’m 22 now, and ofcourse life has completely changed for us.
Listening to this now vs then, I’m covered in chills and a rush of joy, being reminded of how much life changes, and thinking of the little girl back then who NEEDED hope. Taylor will forever be such an important part of my coming of age and our generation. She deserves all the accolades. She knew what she was doing when she put pen to paper and wrote all of her songs. It was for us.
I am not a huge swiftie but my class is full of Taylor swift. I started to listen to her everyday. It became my happy place. My siblings are always saying bad about her for some reason. She’s a great singer and her songs always send me to a special place. I never care about their bad comments when I am listening.
