Awesome show, Adam! Can't wait for another trip. It's looking doable next week. I gotta see what my schedule is like, hoping to go out at least 1 time.
I appreciate you watching. It’s a Hobie PA 14. It’s really stable which is great but I’d probably get a 12ft if I was to do it over. It’s heavy and can be difficult to load and unload solo.
Only time I've seen a gate is when the parking lot was under construction last year. Other than that, you just pull out onto the beach and park on the north side. I have seen people with kayaks in their truck beds park on the beach but unsure about car top kayaks. Hope that helps!
You need a kill bag or cooler for your fish buddy. Sharks and sea lions will take them off the side of your boat just dangling like that and they can flip your yak.
Sea lions is what I'd worry about. Harbor seals maybe. In all my years, I've seen one shark take a fish here in Oregon. Grabbed a coho I was fighting. Shocked the crap out of me. Blues just don't seem to want to be the tax man. I suppose there's that tiny chance of a White coming for a visit...but that too is an unlikely scenario. But yeah, ice is the answer!!

Good trip. I like that rod. I just sold my collection of Calstar rods and already miss them. Thanks for the vid!
They’re great rods. I’ve had the same set of them for 20 years and they’ve never let me down. Thanks for watching!
Hey bud, great segment. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I love the fact that it was all lingcod , usually its rock fish city and no lings. Good job.
Glad you liked dude and I appreciate you watching. The ling bite was crazy!
awesome fishing, can't wait til get out there
Thanks man! Been watching your channel as well. Hit me up if you’re out here and maybe I could tag along?

What is the procedure for getting through the gate to the beach ? And are car top kayaks allowed ?
