I was clapping at home for Darren's out in rack 2!
...and in rack six too. Whew.
Phenomenal out by Appleton in game 2.
I have noticed a lot of these players use a very long bridge in order to bridge off of the rail rather than using their hand. I was always told that a longer bridge decreased your accuracy? It seems like all of these guys do it so there must be some reasoning behind it?
Matthew Helms They're pros plus they must be in good stroke to be comfortable enough to do that. Just my guess.
Matthew Helms Also its a very small pool table 7 foot by 3 foot where a player doesn't have to be as accurate as a 9 footer.
Pros have mostly perfect strokes, and bridging off a rail--even if the bridge is super long--helps with sighting and also makes the cue perfectly level, which increases accuracy because it decreases deflection.
Helps your line of sight which helps on those shots
They are good enough
16:08 what a bad shot that was. He should have taken the 10, roll forward a couple inches and taken the 12 in the side and break out the 13. Easy out after that.
