- We go for a drive, one of the first really nice and warm summer days in our district. It is Sunday 29 May 2021. We first stop at Flatdal, which is located in Seljord municipality. Then we stop in Seljord itself. This town is the annual host of a couple of music festivals and an agricultural fair called Dyrsku'n. But many people come here for another reason as well. It is a well-established "truth" that Lake Seljordsvatnet has a sea monster. Observations have been made for hundreds of years and more scientific research has also been done. As far as I know, no final conclusion has been reached. 😉

Vi tar en tur, en av de første virkelig fine og varme sommerdagene i distriktet vårt. Det er søndag 29. mai 2021. Vi stopper først ved Flatdal, som ligger i Seljord kommune. Så stopper vi i selve Seljord. Dette tettstedet er årlig vertskap for et par musikkfestivaler og en landbruksmesse kalt Dyrsku'n. Men det kommer mange folk hit også av en annen grunn. Det er en godt etablert "sannhet" at innsjøen Seljordsvatnet har en sjøorm. Det har blitt gjort observasjoner gjennom hundrevis av år og det også gjort mer vitenskapelige undersøkelser. Så vidt jeg vet har det ikke blitt gjort en endelig konklusjon. 😉 Håper dere liker filmen! Hvis dere gjør det setter jeg stor pris på en "like" og gjerne et abonnement. I don't believe in Monsters. I believe what I see and hold in my hand. From minute 4.45 there is a beautiful view from the drone. The whole video is nice. Smooth flight, thoughtful shots and video editing.

Kjempevideo det her, Torbjørn :D Moro å se bilder fra både Flatdal og Seljord i samme slengen:) Har jo vært der borte flere ganger da deler av slekta kommer fra området ;D Ser snøen fortsatt lå godt oppe i Skorve, men minker nok fort i disse dager... ;D

if you can't find the monster w/ the drone, I doubt they'll have much luck finding it from the tower.... lol Awesome flight, brother, what a beautiful place... very well done.... God bless!! Kevin
Haha! Good point! 😅👍 Thank you so much for watching! The tower was built in 2011, a bit before drones became available for most people. So maybe I should offer my services with the drone? 😂
Flying drones in tight places is risky business! 😂
