To all you "New Poor" out there that can no longer keep up with your old living standards, let me clue you in on how the "Old Poor" have survived before you.
    1. BANANAS are cheap.
    2. BEEF LIVER is cheap. CHICKEN LIVER is even cheaper.
    3. Going out to the movies or concerts, or the bar is expensive. A paperback novel cost 25 cents to $1.
    4. Buy a whole chicken and debone it yourself.
    5. Carpool or the bus.
    6. Learn a ghetto trade for barter purposes. Learn to cut hair, babysit kids, arbitrage foot stamps, collect scrap metal, tutor, sew clothes, something-anything to bring in money or for trade.
    6. Cancel or reduce Holidays. Do you know how Santa Claus delivers presents to all the little kids in one night? He skips the poor kids houses.

No no don't u know they all want "organic" stuff now that costs twice the price. They don't like leftovers. The kids they couldn't afford that they decided to have only eat pizza and burgers. They don't want to fix their own things. They are obsessed with selfcare which involves expensive concerts and giving money to bezos. They want to travel. 🤣🤣🤣

I was one of them kids that Santa missed a few times. That's ok the family was together. I walked everywhere. If it was not free I was not going.. Our TV broke and stayed broken for five years. I know what it's like to eat boiled cabbage every day as a kid growing up, reason the garden failed two years in a row.. I've been homeless.. I live at the YMCA for a few months at a time over years of hardships..
What I'm trying to say most really think they have it bad you may but your still alive.. All my friends I grew up with are dead.. I know how to survive with no money at all.. I can do a Jeramiah Johnson at any time.. Thinking I would be better off..

@@LeahMT. Book (paperbacks) are that cheap. The classics that have constant printings are always less than a dollar. Frankenstein, Dracula, Shakespeare, The Great Gatsby, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Stephen King, etc...
Now if you want the 2023 Bram Stoker Award winner thats been in print for less than one year or if you want a large print book, or a hardcover book your in trouble.
Your on point with the foods. Veggies are a problem, so if it's not from the food bank or the church pantry it's going to be largely missing from the dinner table. Its cheaper to give the kids a vitamin than feed them veggies every day.

Complaining is one thing and understandable giving these economic conditions. But learning new skills is the best way of way of dealing with inflation. Try learning how to make your bread , pasta sauce, cheese etc. our grandparents did it and so can we. they didn't have UA-cam and still managed to share information and trade with one another to survive.

Acknowledging that inflation is actually manufactured by corporations, many of which are secretly massive monopolies like Nestle, Unilever, and General Mills raking in 100B annually and CURRENTLY growing, to SQUEEZE the working class for every last drop of profit is actually the ONLY way to deal with this inflation. We must acknowledge reality and advocate for ourselves and our class.

My family is already stretched thin and we have 4 kids and things use to be affordable for us even with 4 children but this past year it’s become incredibly hard to afford things I can no longer afford anything extra like a nice candle or Netflix that’s out of the question and now on top off all of that we have to take in a family member who is about to be homeless along with his baby whom has no mother (she is a drug addict) and not in their lives I really do not like people living with me I’m very very picky and keep a very organized and clean home and my children know how to respect my home… but if we don’t take them in what are they to do? Am I supposed to let a child be homeless? I just don’t think I could sleep at night and they will just have to adjust to my lifestyle it will be hard for me but idk I don’t like the idea at all…. We cut family off along time ago we have a nice home and they think we are made of money and they never helped us at all so we usually try to look the other way when they try to contact us but we keep in touch with like 2 family members and just so happens that one of them is in the dumps I hate hard decisions like this 😖

I can imagine it's not easy for them to ask for help and it's not easy for you to go out of your way to help. Both of you will have to meet at the middle to make it work. I wish you luck

Lord these people don't know what poor is. In my early twenties I was so broke I had to borrow money from my parents, who were not well off themselves, just to buy a pair of shoes. I could barely afford to buy a small used car - my parents had to co-sign for me and it took me 5 years to pay it off. Many times I had barely enough money to pay bills. I'm 65 now, retired, no debt, retirement savings. I gave up a lot to make my retirement comfortable. I bet these people still have their takeout coffee, gym passes, expensive cars, eating out, etc, etc....

In yr 2000 there was only 4 trillion dollars in the money supply and 2 trillion dollars of debt. 23 yrs later there is 20 plus trillion dollars in the m2 money supply and 33 trillion dollars of debt . There is your inflation folks. It's 9th grade business math. Both parties are guilty . They blame each other but keep spending making the problem worst.😊

Hearing everyone's story on this video is a reason why I decided to donate $10 of every weekly paycheck I receive to a food shelter. I can't wave a magic wand and make inflation disappear, but the best I can do is offer some help when I'm currently in a position to do it. And it's a win win, those who need help receive something from my generosity, and the IRS gives me a thank you gift on April 15th every year in the form of a higher tax refund.

For a lot of people, even before all this, it was hard enough to afford groceries for the week, nvm stockpiling on My Patriot Supply. Others live in small spaces and don't exactly have room for stockpiling much of anything. Or rent from slumlords cuz that's what they can afford/who approved them, and with slumlords comes problems like mold or vermin and other such things where storing things becomes more complicated.
The low-income, working-poor, and slumlords have been around for a long time. The things more people are complaining about today have long been struggles for many. The only difference is we're now in the process of the middle-class being eradicated en route to "you will own nothing" so there's more people feeling the struggles.
Still, being aware of a nefarious plan doesn't necessarily change things for those who have always been struggling.

yeah, its called getting a partner. you share a room with a man/woman. That is how it worked for thousands of years. do you think your moms left the house suddenly to afford everything? Let's get serious, a brief history of economics dont make anyone rich last 20 years. Get a partner and build a life, thats called living. this also goes for man.
