मां-बाप अपने बच्चों को बड़े होकर डॉक्टर, इंजीनियर, टीचर या कोई सरकारी अधिकारी ही बनता देखना चाहते हैं। यही इच्छा उत्तर प्रदेश के बरेली के निहाल सिंह की मां की भी थी, वे अपने बेटे को टीचर बनाना चाहती थीं, लेकिन निहाल सिंह कुछ और ही कर चले। युवा किसान निहाल ​सिंह आर्गेनिक मेंथा, एरोमैटिक फसलों और जड़ी बूटियों की खेती करते हैं। उन्होंने शुरुआत दो एकड़ से की और आज 10,000 एकड़ ज़मीन पर 4000 किसानों के साथ खेती करते हैं। आर्गेनिक मेंथा और जड़ी बूटियों को अमेरिका, जर्मनी सहित कई देशों को निर्यात करते हैं। आज उनका टर्नओवर 100 करोड़ से अ​धिक है। निहाल सिंह बताते हैं कि वे अपनी मां को 15 सालों बाद खुश कर पाए..
