yeah, but i do feel like the music could’ve been a little bit lower. her mic sounded fine in the beginning.
The mic didn't make her voice loud enough, and the all the music besides her voice was way too loud.

I could barely hear her over the chorus and instrumentals. She was nervous to begin with. Imagine starting to sing and realizing the sound techs were making your performance nearly impossible. Heidi Klum's remarks prove that she could perform a magical Vegas show for all ages. I imagine playing the ocarina isn't easy either. She has talent. She was robbed on stage.

I hate how Simon blamed her for the sound tech's mistake. She doesn't have access to the soundtech's equiptment thus she couldn't lower the volume of the supporting vocals & music. It is not her fault in the slightest.
Also, her voice is shaky and/or pitchy because she had to compete with the music around her (by pushing her voice to be louder). This is just not fair to her and I hope she gets into the next round
No he wasn’t blaming her he was blaming the over production, maybe he should have made it clearer but after 20yrs or so of seeing what the shows production teams can do to an act he was having a dig at them, he was actually defending her by stating she has a great voice. It’s a shame the production drowned her out but I hope she ends up as a guest fairy in a lot of future mythical films, hint hint Disney 😁 or scrub that I could see her with her own show, a talk show hosted by a fairy would be cool xxx
This is not true! Its not only a volume issue, if you habe a ear for music, you can hear that she isnt singing well, i dont know the right word in english, but the notes are mess up

What surprised me the most was that nobody in the sound tech said to turn the volume of her mic and the supporting vocals/music down. I genuinely believe she deserves another chance, we know from her audition what she sounds like so we can only imagine what she could’ve sounded like if the volumes were correct
I find it funny as well when I look at the comments saying the background was too much, it really isn’t to be honest. I don’t have as much experience but for one school performance, our mics weren’t on for the entire show, nobody bothered turning them on and it does strain the voice, hence why she sounded worse in this performance

She didn't get lost in the production Simon, the production lost her. I'd get a new soundboard operator cause that one sucks. Her voice is incredibly magical. I find myself entering her world and getting lost within it. I'll be 57 years old on Saturday the 20th and she makes me imagine like a little kid again. I've never heard a more magical voice in all the years I've watched AGT nor for that matter all of the other talent shows and performers that I've seen from every country imaginable around our planet. She transcends everyday life and brings you into a world of wonder, joy, and excitement. She has the ability to bring joy and hope to the entire world. I am entranced with her look and her song. She truly is Freckled Zelda the real and true Music Fairy!!!
I don’t watch AGT much, but loved her first performance. I think AGR probably manipulated. This performance did not do her justice. She didn’t seem herself either. Her first performance was more authentic. I just get the feeling she was out of her element. But why? Not a fan if AGT. Not worth watching.

Heidi immediately went to her defense . Loved that. Heidi got it. I think Zelda did fantastic! Just like how years ago Simon told Lindsey Stirling she would never make it, now she is performing to sold out shows playing the fiddle and violin as well as writing music. I hope FreckledZelda gets that same success!

@@sarar.7719 they’re really bad with acts that have choir in it, every time when there’s solo singer with a choir, they always mess up the solo singer’s mic. An example is Voice’s of Hope Children Choir’s semi-final where they sang Defying Gravity, and the solo singer’s mic was incredibly quiet. You can find the video on UA-cam

I like the fact that she’s different. I Like that she’s not coming on the show with some kind of agenda and she plays the ocarina really well and she has a great voice. I wish her well. She’s very likeable

4:42 In her 1st audition she already showed us what a great singer she is! And in this performance she couldn't because her mic was almost OFF in volume!
She chose the perfect song to match her character, and sang it beautifully.
Playing the ocarina is difficult, especially when hitting low notes, but she had incredible breath control, and was pitch perfect.
I would give her a definite yes.

I don't think someone like Freckled Zelda can get lost in the production. You'd have to be totally blind in order to not notice her.
I think this song and her act can bring kids together with parents like me who have nostalgia for 1980s stuff like The Never Ending Story in the same way that Stranger Things has.

How do people not understand her? She's an amazing singer but thats only part of her act, the other part is being a magical being. Only so many people want to hear another singer but imagine how many people would love to see a fariy sing and play a magical instrument, no even metioning the amazing and beuatiful stage/room she's preforming in, it would transport people into a diffrent world! Just because a few people don't understand it doesnt mean this opportunity should be taken away from her😭😭!
People don't seem to understand how incredibly difficult it is to play the ocarina, and she mixes that with an enchanting voice

Her voice is so sweet and I hope that she did a lot of those things where kids would video chat with their favourite princess or characters during the pandemic, something like that. My niece would have loved to see this and meet her!❤

She needs a show on Disney or something. Some kind of show where we can go on magical adventures and learn things. Where she can have friends and neighbors that teach things. Like basic plants, simple foods to make, art, animals and so on.

They knock her ocarina when one of lizzo’s most loved niches is when she does flute breakdowns in the middle of a song. It ADDS to it. And it takes skill and lung capacity to be able to play a wind instrument and immediately return to singing and belting… Sometimes these judges can be very behind in entertainment trends and whatnot, but Heidi knew what was up :-)

Her mic didn't had enough volume on. The music and chorus were way too loud compared to her mic.
And she wasn't the only one that night who's mic sounded weird. Someone was f-cking up in the backstage and didn't care to correct themselves.
At 4:52Simon says she got lost in the production, then another judge says it wasn’t her fault. Simon also made a face when the judge said that lol

Man her voice was really off today. Super pitchy compared to last time and they didn't do her favors with the mic audio. It was super low.
i think that a lot of that is because she is trying to push herself to be louder to make up for the messed up mic… super disappointing that the sound tech didn’t properly prepare it
