The Duke is showing Eliza more respect and I'm glad for that.
@ Joseph Roman - I wish she'd return the favor! She takes advantage of *both* the Duke and Moses, only thanking them if they call her attention to it. 🙄 Rude of her.
I’m so enjoying the increasing tender moments between them. I was disappointed in William and saddened for Eliza in season 3, but the ending of the last episode made me hopeful again 🥰 READY for season 4!
What happens at the end of season three, please? I need to know he leaves arabella. I can't stand to see them together at the end of the season
@@ammaaradesai996 lol. I know!!! Ugh! Mild Spoiler alert (for others). They don’t show if he leaves her, but they do imply that he starts to see through her, when William witnesses her vindictiveness towards Eliza. That’s why I say I’m hopeful.

yes, in fact, Arabella is going to break up with him, thank God, I can't even see them together. Arabella tells William that you are in love with her, William talked non-stop about Eliza and his eyes sparkled when Arabella said: that you are in love with her
it was such a beautiful scene, but it's a shame that Eliza wasn't there and couldn't hear it, I was waiting for Eliza to enter the room

Love this SHOW... The boiling frustration he has for MISS Scarlett is so well portrayed.. He plays the sexual and situational frustration so well you can feel it thru the tv.. Her apparent naivete is so endearing when partnered with her maddening desire to be a free independants woman and still alluring to the Duke... Love Love this program.
With that beard, Stuart Martin bears an uncanny resemblance to Hugh Jackman.
Isn't he, must be a secret son or nephew. There's a great deal of incestry on British show biz. Many are closely related, as they are also in America. I am a portrait artist and I have an uncanny eye that places such people. Felix Scott from the forehead to the nose, and let's pay attention to the eyes and brows, strikes a resemblance with Kit Harrington. Katie is so classically beautiful she can fit in many possibilities. Not to even mention that during the 30s and 40s many children were illegitimately conceived by the aristocracy, royalty. Charles Dance admits he could have been seeded by such himself. Noel Coward was among the many bastard children of the Earl of Battenburg, just as an example.
Yes, when I first watched the show, I thought Jackman had picked up a quiet side gig, like Henry Cavill did as Sherlock in “Enola Holmes”.
Rick Yes he does! Hope some writer, somewhere sees that and writes a character just for him.

I must say I am enjoying Season 3 so far and the slow burn between Eliza and the Duke. The Duke has the smouldering sensuality -- which is better than being covertly "hot" -- in my very humble opinion.

I love how this season they're stepping out of their comfort zone. She attempts to make edible stuff and he's beginning to recognize her as an investigator. Nash treating her like an equal from the get could put a wrench in this, but these two might make it!
They have been in each other's lives for years. Of course he will be overprotected of her. And when you care for someone strongly. Your concern can become angry if they are putting themselves in danger.

It's time the Duke gets a kiss from Eliza and she realizes that she has feelings for him, love feelings.
She is crazy about him,u can tell! I am thinking maybe hecwill be with someone around her ^ she will be do jealous! U can tell he loves her too & is trying to figure out how to balance their work & a relationship! In 1 article he was asked what he should do in New episodes & he said" kiss Eliza"!❤😍

If the writers of the show don't get them together this next season, I am done. I hated the Arabella storyline.
I'm confused.... when Stuart said that William was "capable of a relationship, of love and settling down" was he talking about Arabella, Eliza, or some other unknown character we've yet to meet? It's so hard to tell from season 3. William and Arabella were the ones in a relationship, so does that mean William was in love with her and aspiring to a marriage with her before the walls crashed in? I gleaned from season 3 that William valued Arabella also since she would be able to help him climb socially and advance at Scotland Yard.

This tension isn't all on Eliza this season. Duke is not as thoughtful as I had hoped he would be!!
Not me. A gorgeous man and a beautiful woman? If they can’t find a way, then I’m done.
There is absolutely no way - even in Victorian times - that 2 people with REAL attraction would not find a way to at least steal a kiss or even more.
This is just cooked up by the writers and is getting tiresome.

@@imisstoronto3121 I saw the show while channel surfing and vowed not to get sucked in by such a hokey contrived BS slow burn, smouldering sexual tension TV show with dry runs if not all out insulting pivots that hurt loyal viewers. Eventually I came around because plots and SL in S2 were smart and cute. Introduction of Patrick Nash and I am all in, for scenes with him in it of course.
