Nice review of the View Master. I had mine about mid 70s and had travel disks with it. The disks I can remember were London and America.
The camera review wasn't bad either. I can't see me swapping out my existing pan & tilt camera for the new dual camera version, as I rarely use it.
I liked the new format featuring you, rather that just your hands and promoting your Facebook group as well.

When I added that indoor camera on my HB3.... everything stopped sending notifications... or the other way around. I have to restart the HB3 in order for all the cameras to work... but for a while ... then eventually this indoor camera is the only one left again and all the outdoor camera stops again. Everything is fine before this camera was added.

Thanks for the review. Seems to me the auto-tracking is a bit annoying as it disrupts the smooth video. Is there a setting that would tell the S350 to only start tracking when the person (or one of the people -- if there are muliple people in the room) reaches the edge of the viewable angle? This way, the video remains smooth when possible. I think the issue also may be caused by the limited 15fps. I'm totally new to secureity cameras and looking to buy 3 for my home and have started doing research. I'm landing on Eufy and it seems their best indoor camera is the S350. I am looking for the best video quality (at 25 feet and for motion video of just people walking in the home).
Any comment on my perception of the tracking issue?
The tracking can be adjusted to be slow or fast and it is a lot smoother than eufy's previous indoor pan & tilt. The 4K also allows a lot more clarity at max x8 zoom. Regards tracking people, it will try to track the 1st person it sees and stick with that subject until they go out of view
Hi, I also bought that camera and brutal how good is. Only one issues what i have my camera every 3-4 hour once turning automatically 360 degreese and I dont know why. This is a factory problem or that is normal?

Assuming one S350 running 24/7, how long would a homebase 3 be able to record before running out of capacity?
If it's the 1TB HB3 around 30 days

Not officially - however there are members on our Facebook group that have mounted outdoors, sheltered under eaves out of weather. The previous pan/tilt seemed to handle these conditions fine. May want to look at the S340 for outdoors if you don't want to risk S350 outdoors

Hi Paul,
I've just bought the 350, and it has the same problem I have with the solar cam 340. ie, it doesn't track underneath left & right, it just stops tracking in the middle. So I just can't understand why I'm having this problem on 2 cameras.
Also, I joined your Facebook page & I've posted several times, but my posts seem to disappear, and my profile says I haven't posted anything yet ?.

Hi Mark - that is odd; how high is your S350 mounted from the floor? Also, try posting again to the Facebook group and tag me in so I can check its posting ok for you

The 350 is around 7 feet, possibly slightly less, it seems to track from further afield, anywere from 12 feet to around 30 feet or further, but if it follows you, and you walk just in front of it, ie 1ft to 2 feet it stops just as you pass in front of it, however if you stop & look directly at it, then continue to pass slowly in front of it, then you seem to force it to follow you.
As for Facebook, I posted a message to Admin a couple of weeks ago but again my post appeared on the page but disappeared shortly after, so I then joined using my works profile, and my post stayed on, so for some reason my personal profile seems to be being blocked.

@@eufysecuritycameraowners4795 The 350 is mounted under the soffit outside, just for now, as an experiment just to see if it would track & follow better, unlike the s340, before I start drilling holes in my interior ceiling, also to find out if the problem was down to a faulty s340,
Hi,
Really would like this camera to replace the old 220, of which ive currently got 2, but I have heard that the eufy S350, will only record in 4k, if used as simple monitoring camera, and recording quality will drop to 2k once you switch on the motion tracking settings to detect human, pets or other motions, also will only record in 2k if duel mode is selected.
Is this true ?

I believe If you’re paying for the cloud storage, it will not record in 4K, only 2K for each lens/sensor. Only the wide angle lens records in 4K to SD card/homebase when it’s attached to an account that doesn’t have Eufy Cloud

I'm not sure if that's a question or statement? Yes supplied cable is 2M (serious) and yes you'll l need a source of power if mounting on ceiling within 2M if using supplied cable (serious) or further if using own longer cable (serious)
