festool should have a 300mm blade miter saw 260mm disqualifies when cutting furniture profiles 100mm high at an angle of 45

Wi have the 88 what is the button on top next to the speed dial? It's been really bugging me I can't find answer anywhere.

I have the KS120, and the button next to the speed control dial turns the LASER guides on and off. The KS88 does not have the LASER, so if there is a button, it doesn't have any function.

@@Mike--K yeah its an odd one as it has like a Lazer pic on it but it obviously doesn't do anything. I have the kapex 60 battery one which has a light but no Lazer.

@@nathanrice2001 This is a wild guess, but is it possible that your KS 88 was repaired at some time and a part from a KS 120 was used?
I wish the KS 120 had the LED option like the KS 60. I hate, hate, hate, the LASER because I don't think it is as accurate as the shadow line I enjoyed on my former DeWalt DWS780.

@@Mike--K highly unlikely as I bought it new to be fair I only noticed it a few weeks ago and I've had it over 2 years, but since I noticed it its really bugging me
