Carlik is a baller. DJ had an off game I don’t expect that from him in the future, he’s too good. Sam looked comfortable which is a great thing, you could see his confidence grow in the 2nd half. Quinn actually played well initiating movement on offense & his defense wasn’t bad either - he looks like a great communicator (I thought the whole team was communicating well tbh). Traynor def deserves more credit that people gave him coming in. He moves well without the ball & his IQ looks nice. Davis is a nice rebounder & his IQ on offense (he got lost a bit on defense) is pretty good for a freshman. I think Jaelyn has gotta get comfortable with being the “big man” in the offense he looks a lil awkward because he’s more comfy on the perimeter, but I think he’s talented enough to progress rather quickly. Overall I was impressed with the freshmen they looked further ahead than ones in years past. I know it’s Evansville but I’m excited to watch this team.
