I remember racing dirtbikes as a kid, and at a local indoor track they always had Freekstyle on the big screen 24/7, was almost like an arcade game with the crazy tricks you could do and stuff, definitely a badass game.

Its for various reasons it can be from being friends with whomever is selling or because there buying a larger amount of stuff intising the seller to give a good deal
And then there's the the pressure of having a camera shoved in there face and they don't want to be seen in a bad light so are kinda forced to offer a discount.

10:35 that's a final fantasy 4-6 press kit I believe. I have a buddy who has one of those. But, I think resellers do get better deals because they're reselling the product and these vendors know what they're doing with it and everybody gets money. It is a win win for both parties. I know Phoenix resale got amazing deals every time he posted a video for the conventions he went to.

@@JRPGLife gopro vs button cam or glasses cam. As others have said- the camera in someone's face can make them think they are going to get a bad online reputation if they don't give the gopro user a discount. Even when that expectation is not realistic
I think a lot of people feel that way, rather see it go to a good home sees kinda strange to sell it to someone who’s just going to up the price just so they can make more money off you. Friend of mine was selling a bunch of games and ended up just giving them to me cause he knows they will go to a good home and told im if he ever wants any back let me know

Okay, that Shining in the Darkness was a tasty pickup.
I know a lot of people would never finish it, but I owe that game a debt for introducing my young self to the Shining series. I've beaten it once on real hardware and once emulated, but I've never even seen the manual in person.
I've had my Trails in the Sky CE up on Goodiez for $100 for the last 6 months...make of that what you will.

I have nothing against resellers cause we all need to make money but I feel like collectors should get the better deals. If you can get a good score for a decent price to add to your collection it's enough to make anyone's day.
I think a lot of it is that resellers aren't afraid to ask for a deal, and are more experienced negotiators than collectors
I wish my wife was into stuff like me. Mine just deals with my collecting, hella cool she's into exosquads !!!
I'd love to go to one of these cons and see how many jrpgs I can find. Also what was that final fantasy playstation grail you both found, I honestly wasn't paying much attention

ALL COLLECTOR'S ARE RESELLER's 100% ALL! I remember meeting so many "COLLECTOR's" Hating on Resellers 10+ years Ago! ALL are RESELLER's NOW! and Have Been since then, they were just hiding it, to score better DEALS!
I don't think anyone's hiding anything, but your statement is likely valid. The moment anyone sells a single video game, they are a reseller. Everyone has done it, collector or not. 🙂

By-the-way, OGIO makes THE BEST BAGS! I wish you could buy tshirts and coats from them still but that's not how they do business. They sell to businesses that use them for work shirts so have to buy in bulk. If I owned my own business, my employees would be wearing OGIO brand wear, without question

there is everything wrong with resellers. they get the deals then sell them for an upcharge rather than letting people find them. or atleast if you know you got a deal sell them for a reasonable price

Our videos are cut and edited for brevity, so you do not know what the full conversation looked like. No one is hurt or offended here. Also, it's not cool to try to create drama where it doesn't exist. 😞
Resellers do not necessarily get better deals. Those that do tends to be very aggressive. They will try to buy stuff from you before you have set up your booth or table. I have a policy of not selling to them. My goal is for regular customers to get the first shot than any reseller. Sometimes, it gets very confrontational. Resellers, the bad ones, will try to use the tactic that you cannot do anything else by keeping pressure on you until you fold. Once is enough, there are few sellers like that in SoCal. On the other hand, it there is a rapport with me and there was a relationship built in years, maybe there is a deal or two in between. Then again, I am fortunate that selling used games is not my day job. You can sometimes see humanity leaving your body a bit.
Wtf Riff is literally in EVERY video
I think most people just get annoyed with reseller youtubers shove their camera in a vendor's face essentially saying "give me a deal and you'll make the next video that my hundreds of thousands of subscribers will see" so they can get stuff for 20-50% below market value and then have a 5 minute section in their video devoted to some product that they are being sponsored by.
Weird, we've never seen or heard that happen with any of our UA-camr friends 🤔

forreal. and, you know, reseller keep the games circulating to people who have no idea what niches to look for. idk, this video and a few others were really click-baitey. you never know what goes on beyond closed doors. however, these youtubers seem to know their genres and have great taste in games. i like the editing too. but for some people on a fixed income, escaping a bad relationship, or have to take care of sick family, reselling can free up a lot of time
