I don't let them influence me to buy certain products. Its up to us to do OUR OWN research on those beauty products, studies on ingredients, etc. than just taking the word of an influencer. I know I do my research first. If anything, I rather go to a doctor (dermatologist) or on social media and not just the first one, I will watch several different ones.
