- How I run my OVERLOAD half court offenses against a 2-3 zone defense.

I normally run a 4 Out 1 In spacing (high post center) with my forwards/wings spaced out in the corners and my guards at slot position. When we call the OVER play (short for Overload), the weakside corner player moves to the strong-side (ball side) dunker spot (between key and corner) while the strongside corner fills up to the wing to get a pass from the guard. Your corner player should be a good outside shooter to draw the highest defensive guard. Once the guard engages, the wing feeds the ball to the dunker spot player that cut over. From there they can shot, drive or look to see if the center zone defender drops to cover them, and if they do its a bounce pass to our center cutting down the middle of the key.
