What a lovely voice Cathy Jordan has! Every time i hear her voice I fall head-over-heels in love with her! She has the same effect on me as the equally awesome voice of Allison Krauss. This song is such a great vehicle for showing-off Cathy Jordan's voice. Thanks so much for posting. Love the pics too.
The lyrics on this one have always puzzled me. Everything starts out pretty straightforward - man singing adoring praise of his lovely wife-to-be. We make it all the way to the end and all seems well - but then the very last line has to throw a wrench into the works, "for Ireland .. I won't tell her name". I just don't get it. What does he have to be ashamed of, or what shame would it bring upon dear Ireland??? I don't see any hint of an illicit affair in the prior lyrics. What gives???
