Nice one mate. I took mine to the strip here in NZ a few weekends back and ran a 14.02 @ 101mph. Mines basically the same as yours but manual with a cat back exhaust, intercooler, coil overs and some cheap chinese tyres. Mine struggled for grip because it’s pretty slammed and running on probably half of the tyre due to the camber. Keep it up man, be good to see how it goes when manual.
Nice man, maybe the manual won’t make me quicker then 😂. I’ll definitely have a look. I think I won’t really see an improvement until I get some boost into it and a full turbo back.
@@onstreetgarage yea haha I think auto is best for drag, most of the fast drag chasers I’ve seen online have all been auto. Way more fun manual though 😉
Very nice! I also raced my auto jzx100 and did a best of 14.33 with a 2.3 60 foot. It's definitely lazy off the launch. I may try racing it again in a few months and revving it higher. Maybe I'll do better myself. I got it posted on my channel as well.
Nice! I’ll go and check it out! I reckon I could’ve just squeezed a 13 with enough runs but it doesn’t seem worth it effort now I’ve got the manual at home ready to go in. If you crack a 13 let me know!
Haha yeah I don’t blame you for that. I’m really keen to do more track time in mine including some drifting so the manual is something I’m pretty keen to do 😂
@onstreetgarage a major reason I'm not rushing on doing the 5 speed conversion is because where I live there's no legal place to drift. All we have here is a drag strip. I'm not a drag racer 😂 I would love to drift my Chaser one day but for now donuts will have to do 😂
Nice! Surely it will be quicker with the auto than the manual (on the drag strip). Boost controller up to 14psi and one last run to get final time before manual swap? 👀 Easy 13’s.
That’s what we’re going to find out haha. I had it on the dyno today and it’s running stupid rich so I might have to slip 14psi in and give it one more whirl before I take it off the road to manual swap haha

@onstreetgarage I'm far from doing a 5 speed conversion on my car. I'm gonna get the most life I can from the auto box till I do the conversion 😂

Awesome. Were the dyno figures good?
Yeah, no shocks. 169kw which seems decent
