Kinetic Kennons I really want to go there I love the beaches... here in Campeche Mexico there are no beaches in the city anyways ... we actually live in Hecelchakan 45 minutes from Campeche Campeche ... we bought a ranch my husband has been busy growing corn habanero chiles watermelons and tomatoes he loves it !!! He is from Monterrey Mexico we loved your videos of Monterrey ... our youngest son was born in Monterrey Mexico ... 5 1/2 years I have done nothing but complain !!! I find it way too hot here !! I spend much of my time inside ... ugh !!! Bored to tears ... the main reason we live here in Mexico is the cost of living compared to Canada ..

One video I made in Mexico City, I stopped for Wendy's, and a lot of comments made fun of me for not trying some place Mexican. But the truth is... even when you're surrounded by some of the best food in the world, sometimes you just want something quick and simple. So I can understand the choice to get chinese take out, you gotta do what you gotta do ;)
You more than anybody knows how that goes lol. Sometimes you are just tired, hot, and hungry and you'll eat anything. BUT that chinese food was the bomb. We went back!! haha

Been to Huatulco once on a Panama Canal cruise in 1997 or 1998. I am sure it built up since then. Until I started watching your videos, I was 95% sure I wanted to move to Progreso in the Yucatán state. Just returned from there three days ago. Now....I am not so sure. The beaches look great in Huatulco and Puerto Escondido, and I really like what your videos show of both areas. Thank you for what you do....I will be watching your videos closely and contacting a realtor in your area soon!

My husband and I lived in Huajuapan de Leon Oaxaca for 8 months headed home to give birth to our son December 25 th 1976 .... lived off and on in Mexico five years at a time ... 5 1/2 years here in Campeche Mexico ... it’s beautiful it’s safe.!! It peaceful !!! I would recommend anyone to come live here ... it’s now time for us to head back to Canada for a short time ....

Pleaee taste seafood like ceviche, filete a la Oaxaceña, the famous mole of the region, cochinita pivil cooked in the ground. Please look up "Mexico: One plate at a time". Rick Bayless is a restaurateur out of Chicago, he's been all over Mexico. He reminds me of you, exploring, discovering, tasting but not only showing us the flavors of Mexico, he teaches the methods of cooking the exciting foods of the region. Again, thank you for the videos Mr. & Mrs. Kennon, anxiously awaiting for tomorrow's video.

También México. tiene buenísima comida internacional. La comida china. Siempre es un punto de comparación del buen comensal. Por su variedad, sabor, ,exotismo. Etc. Puerto Vallarta, Cancún or Huatulco? You still need to go to Riviera Maya, Holbox, Mahuahual, Los Cabos and Mazatlan. ;)

Please, you can not leave the zone without visiting one of the most emblematic areas of the state, Mazunte, Zipolite, San Agustinillo and La Ventanilla, this area is between Puerto Escondido and Huatulco, Mazunte is one of the 111 Magical towns of Mexico, there is a lot of international tourists out there, Zipolite is the most famous and visited nudist beach in the country, San Agustinillo has restaurants of excellent quality that compete with some of the best in the country, and La Ventanilla is an ecological reserve in charge of take care of the mangrove and the fauna of the place, where you will be able to observe amazing crocodiles and a little of the endemic vegetation of the place, an obligatory destination
I went on vacation there awhile back. There use to be a restaurant in Santa Cruz by the cruise ship dock.we had a giant lobster tail and shrimp . I think it was very reasonably priced. Might want to check it out 😀👍

I spent a week in Huatulco this past June, and i really really liked it, truly I think Huatulco could be another Cancun they just need more infrastructure and Foreign investment .nice video you Guys. as usual.
Don Tomas that is not exactly what México needs, we dont want to turn all places in México like Cancun where the foriegners own everything, too many American's in México is bad , like Donald TRUMP says they want USA for Ameriacans, same we want México for Mexicans born.

playa la Entrega was really nice, but the beach at our hotel was nice too,
however Huatulco has about 36 beaches some are still deserted. you can only get there by boat.

Guys, when are you going to check out Taxco, Guerrero? You would love it there. Check it out. That's where my parents are from. Watching your videos all the way from Chicago. Oh and you need to come to Chicago as well and try our food.

Just be extra careful.... not saying that all the people are bad, there is good and warm people there, but Guerrero is known for not being a quiet and peaceful state. It is beautiful though.

I love the Oaxaca coast. I know it well. It's too bad you didn't go explore the stretch between Puerto Escondido and Huatulco. Completely different than what you're showing. Though I'm glad my favorite playa is still somewhat hidden, well off the beaten track, you may want to check it out next time.
Omg !!! Never got to Puerto Vallarta =( … sad you have left …. We are here in Huatulco Oaxaca =) that’s our grocery store Chedraui =) been her two weeks now and have not tried the Chinese food … I must try it !!! Hey. When I went to hualtuco. it wasn't very many tourist. Taking vans was the cheapest means. Flying into capital taking the van to puerto escondido and to hualtuco. During that time was a different humble feeling. Visiting benito Juarez place of birth. As time goes by hualtuco is becoming much more tourist hot spot. I feel sad because hualtuco will lose it identity. It still my favorite places but due to tourism? I recently travel to campeche it made me feel like the humble scene of oaxaca.

The true is that Huatulco and some Puerto escondido beaches look like the Hawaiian ones, even when you land in huatulco airport you got the feeling you're in Hawaii because of the landscape around it, no one can deny mexican beaches are so different that you don't even need to go to Thailand, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Hawaii, Florida Australia or even Maldives Islands as we have almost all of the same across our mexican coastlines.
Nice video guys you are in heaven. Huatulco is beautiful. Santa Cruz bay is where cruise ship pier is. Tangolunda Bay is where all luxury resorts are located. I was expecting this video since long time ago. Thanks you guys you are making my day. I feel like you are taking me there....I love that place. Again, thanks and hope you post more videos of Santa Maria de Huatulco, Oaxaca Mexico. BTW, if you have the opportunity you need to eat grasshoppers. Saludos amigos.

Kinetic Kennons If you want to try the best fish in town, go to El Grillo Marinero in "La Crucecita" (el centro), highly recommended, all the fish is caught that same day and the taste is exquisite
From H's A/C comments, it seems that the west/Pacific coast of MX is a lot like FL Summertime beaches. Still fairly hot even with the sea breeze. Is that true?

The camera we own doesn't support an external mic :/
You don't need one :) They sell windscreens that stick to the camera mic. It's like a small fluffy ball with an adhesive bottom.

You must go to at least one outdoor classy spot, where they have it all, food drink and music, but to a more romantic setting.
and yes, because it's super hot/beach weather, you dehydrate easier, perhaps an emergency cantine can help!
