What is the most unique thing about where you are from?
We are from Euless, Texas... Probably how close we are to DFW airport :)
El Cerro de la Silla!
We used to live right by DFW in Euless, we called it "Useless" but that was from the long-time residents, not us. Small World!
Living on a lake surrounded by extinct volcanos. Zirahuen, Michoacán. Once named by Unesco as the most beautiful lake in the country.
The reputation of Oaxaqueños is that they are very decent, courteous, intelligent, hard workers. Mexicans are proud of their Oaxaqueños.
You two are killing me.....I started fallowing you in Vallarta...well since then you have shown me sooooo much more of Mexico than I could have ever have dreamed of. I fell in love with your videos of Mexico City, Guanajauto, SMA and now this place! Puerto Escondido look so interesting. The easy accessibility and the lack of development is a huge plus. We have already checked out flights and Airbnb's. Thank you for all you do.
aww thank you amiga! Escondido is a must!
Yeah, Oaxacans are the nicest and friendliest people, as long as you are not a government agency picking on them or a foreign _company_ sneaking up to try to steal their resources and produce, because then Oaxacans turn into an army of the Prince of Darkness.
Good for them. Especially regarding economic interests stealing natural resources. That has got to stop!
True, some Canadians are trying to steal Mexicans resources (my history teacher told me about it) these group of people would die to protect it's resources
OMG!!! Puerto Escondido my favorite beach!!! It is simple, loving, non expensive and so magical, I’ve had a friend there and she told me that living there it is a very cathartic experience, that your life can change in way that it is difficult to imagine... I love love love that place!
O woww! Finalmente en OAXACA!
Finally!!!
Ya que están en Puerto Escondido, deben de ir a Punta Cometa, deben de ir a ver un atardecer a Punta Cometa.
Your editing is getting better and better, güero. ¡Muy chingón!
Yesterday when you arrived on the coast I absolutely lost it. I saw the "Mexican Pipeline" and it looks the same as the poster I grew up with. I always said I wanted to surf there. Perfect spot for me. THX
It is so cool!! We only wish we saw that beach when people were surfing!! It's incredible!
Affordable and nice, I think both of you are excelent selling tourism in my own country. I want to go there!
Thank you so much amigo!! I never think of it as selling, just strongly convincing haha
Wow.. Puerto Escondido four years ago. I was there in January and May 2022. Going back in December-January 2023. This is paradise.
Hello young ones. I grew up in California when the surf culture was being invented -- long ago and far away. Since you're now in big surf country, it's very important to learn is how to tell if there is a rip tide and what to do if you get caught in one. . . It can -- literally -- save your life. You can look that up on line.
I try and watch videos about that stuff whenever possible. Rip tides and currents are no joke!! We are going to try and do our best between having fun and being safe :) I'm staying out of Zicatela! lol
Kinetic Kennons Ouch that had to hurt
Buen vomentario
The most beautiful smiles I've ever gotten were from a Oaxaqueño. No one laughs and smiles as big and loud as them. #LoveOaxaca.
awww!
Those waves look like a lot of fun
They were!!
Looks amazing!!!!! Beautiful!!!!!! I have a video idea, Comparisons between Vallarta & Escondido 😉 as a full time living option for retired expats on a budget with limited Spanish skills
Great video as usual my gringos!!!! You ALWAYS put me in such a good mood!!!
So beautiful there!!
We were hoping you would like this area :)
Since you are already in the south, yo guys should head to Chiapas and Merida Yucatan :)
We love Puerto Escondido. We started going there in 2002 and went all the way by bus from Dallas to Puerto. Amazing trip. We continued to go at least twice a year until 2009 and we are hoping to go back some day. Good to see that some things haven't changed. Our favorite time to be there is at Dios de las Muertos. We've been in Oaxaca city and Puerto Escondido and both are amazing at that time of the year (or any time). The Cafecito on the Rinconada is a wonderful place for breakfast and walking by that laundry always made me smile because it smelled so good and clean. And that walkway and stairway to Carazalillo is one thing that keeps the beach a little less crowded although I can say it usually doesn't have waves as big as on your video...maybe time of year or a storm out at sea? We tease each other than there's 234 steps down and 982 steps up. Only way to get there is by boat or those steps. Great coco locos there. Thanks for enjoying this place as much as we do. You guys are about the age of our grandkids so it makes me smile to see the younger generation appreciating that it's not all "americanized" there
You guys are truly living life 😎
we really are and we are so thankful :)
Puerto Escondido: Get pummeled.. Lol.. Love the vid. Que sigan disfrutando de todos los bonitos lugares que Mexico tiene.. Be safe Goyo and Guera..
Hi Amigos ....im glad for you ....you always showing the beautiful places of Mexico to the word.. . Puerto Escondido is a nice and charm place to visit and by fortune still is not developed by big reesorts like Cancun , Vallarta , etc i like more this kind of places because life is more simple and prices are cheaper .....i was there at 1984 and is a wonderful place to go take a relax even to live .....visit Cipolite , Mazunta and Bahias de Huatulco ....they are beautiful beaches and the people is friendly and nice....the food delicious and cheap. Have a wonderful time

I lived many years in Puerto Escondido since childhood. Maybe that's why I'm very kind now 😊😋
haha aww I bet it is!
Oaxaca, the mexican heart.
Hi guys... most unique in CDMX is cultural diversity(museums, theaters), great gastronomic proposal (international, traditional, pre hispanic food), their architecture, their people. one of first 15 places to visit in the world. Largest city in America ...Mexico city all the way... ☺. Nice traveling perspective through your eyes... excellent work... Nice video Amigos ! 😎
CDMX is about as unique as it gets!!
Sadly you eat quesadillas without queso which is blasphemy.
Thank you.!beautiful place.
The mountains!!! The farms and ranches. 40 min north of seattle!
I love you guys! I'm so glad you both do what you do. You make me long for Mexico and the Mexican way of life. Mexico is our retirement goal!

Que bueno que fueron a Pto. Escondido. Un verdadero paraíso. Felicidades. Ojala puedan ir a Huatulco y Puerto Ángel. Saludos

That view where you are talking at the end of the video is my favorite!!
It's incredible isn't it??
I got pummeled in Puerto Escondido years ago....lol 🤣😅😂 Black eye and fat lip. Husband felt compelled to tell everyone we came in contact with what happened, so they wouldn't think he beat on me.
So much more development since we were there.....still so beautiful. Only place I vacationed and didn't want to leave. We dreamed of moving there one day.
Thanks for the video.
good vlog amigos, appreciate your insights and comments re the friendliness of the locals
Awesome. Living the life..
Un gran lugar para el surf te revolcaron las holas Goyo jajaja....
Como se divierten amigos cuidense mucho
Thanks for the great information.
I'd love to visit one day.
Cheers!!!
Loving your channel so much! New here and gathering info for a full time move in the next 1.5 year ( somewhere in MX) leaning towards PV bc of the familiarity ( friends live there part time) and we’re very much beginners at Spanish. But budget is a concern for us. We’re young 50 something’s that want to be by the beach, and easy access to the states ( for grandkid visits) any advice would be so appreciated. Keep up the great work! You guys rock! Total naturals in front of the camera. Love to see the transformation of Greg from the beginning videos 👍😊 much more chill now
Thank you so much for the kind words!! PV sounds like it would be a great place for you. The proximity to the Airport/States makes it a great option. Feel free to shoot us an email at KineticKennons@gmail.com if you have any questions!
Mazatlán could be a good option for you too, is closer to the states is a 2 hr flight from LAX/Phoenix direct flights from Dallas and a lot more and it is a little cheaper than PV.
Thanks ✌️ that’s what we keep leaning towards. We want to go for a month to feel it out a bit ( not in vacation mode 😜) just hope the rent is not skyrocketed by then
Héctor Hernández thanks Hector will definitely check out Mazatlan as well
Yeah, I'll vouch for Mazatlán. Much nicer in the centro where they have renovated the streets, buildings.
This is now on my list
I love the music you have on your videos.
Go to Chacahua you are gonna love it is like 30-45 minutes from Puerto Escondido
another good video! thank you guys! "la entrega" "mazunte" are some other good beaches in that area, i hope you guys get to oaxaca city , incredible delicious food ! in the city you guys should visit, santo domingo, monte alban ruins, hierve el agua, el arbol del tule , mitla, if you guys have time "san jose del pacifico" (in the mountains) is a magical place. also i dare you guys to try nieves from "la iglesia de la soledad" and say that nieves from monterrey are better :P . quesillo, tejate, mezcal, tlayudas, garnachas, memelas, sweet breat etc. oh and yes most of oaxacan people are humble, and kind,
Wonderful place
You guys should head down to huatulco. Beautiful bahias and waterfalls. Amo sus videos. Saludos.
6:14 That happened to me when I was a kid in the same beach hahaha, very common to see that with those crazy waves.
Love the beach is for sure
As always with you both enjoyable trips, Puerto Escondido beautiful!it was the first place where I saw the ocean 😊, thank you gueros :D
Oh wow! That is super special! I can't think off of the top of my head the first place I saw the ocean.
Que bello lugar amigous disfruten este bello lugar en Oaxaca
Amazing video guys thank you beautiful state oaxaqueños are super frendly.
good one guys, muchas gracias!
If you get back to Playa Zicatella in PE, you should go down to the southern end, La Punta (The Point). As minimally touristy as the northern end is (i.e., where El Cafecita is located), La Punta is even less, more laid back, minimalist and great cheap restaurants. That´s where we hang out, when we´re in PE. Also, for getting around PE, the colectivos are cheaper, $7 MX (pesos) one way per person. They are pickup trucks, with seats and a Conestoga style canvas cover. You saw them, no doubt.
Greg, don't try body surfing the shore break. The only ride you get is to be smashed down into the sand. You could get hurt. Rent a boogie board and FLIPPERS and find someone to take you out. Don't go alone. It's a lot of fun. But the surf in PE is powerful. I really enjoy your videos each day. You should go to Cuidad de Oaxaca and to Merida. Valladolid is a must see.....jump into a cenote! You and Hillary keep up the great informative videos.
Awesome, THANKS Amigos👍🏼😉😁.
ASTA LA VISTA
bacocho, one of my favorite beaches in mexico. i've been there many times.
It was super cool!!!

Awesome video great to see you guys having an awesome great times at Puerto Escondido Oaxaca enjoy the waves!
I just recently discovered you & I love following you. Thank you for finally going to Oaxaca! I hope you go to Oax City. If you do, please go to the surrounding craft towns & visit the artists’ workshops, especially the woodcarvers. It’s my dream trip to go there. Also the Botanical Garden in the city.
...Would you consider doing some Spanish or bilingual videos for people like me who are learning Spanish? ...Thanks for doing what you do! Estoy muy agradecida por la oportunidad de compartir sus aventuras en el pais bonito de Mexico!
You finally went to Oaxaca 😍😍😍 thank you guys
Puerto Escondido looks amazing. My dream is to spend a few years in Oaxaca city, but i might have to look into the Oaxacan coastlines. yall are living the dream!
I need to go there some day.
There is so much more at Pto. escondito than the heavy surf beaches shown here. There are 7 beaches in Escondito, many have calm surf and are great for sunning.
One of your best videos! Great videos, informative and gorgeous waves. Enjoy!
thank you amigo!
Oaxaca tierra hermosa, saludos , gracias por visitar Oaxaca saludos cordiales.,gracias.

Don't forget chiapas you almost close there
we are so close!!!
Check it out there's lot of things to see there
Guys thanks for that 😍🤙🏽 how was the weather in July? 🥰
HAPPINESS IS: Getting pummeled by one of those giant waves! I'm envious of you my esteemed Goyo,....the waves of every beach place I've been, they've been like kiddie pools, beautiful but no GUSTO, no COMMOTION,...Guaymas, Rincon de Guayabitos(near Vallarta), Acapulco, Veracruz and Tecolutla, Ver. :)
That was pure happiness!! haha
come to Mazunte! one hour away!! and visit also San Agustinillo
The waves were playing bowling with the people.
That's exactly the analogy I thought of!
Kinetic Kennons I always look for metaphors and similes in everyday life.👍
I really liked the market there.
Awesome. Guys
PE is very nice. I'm returning in mid August and would be cool to meet up if Yall are still there, been following your vids for a while. Great work!
Puerto Escondido is awesome. I want to marry both of you guys. :P
