We had the two low brass section leaders get married before one of the comps. It was beautiful. Meanwhile I have three beautiful saxophones (as in the physical instrument) who are my children, and I'm a rising Freshman

My show last year was really similar! It was called 'Rock Royalty', and we did most of the same bands.

My marching band season hasnt been canceled yet, so I am anxiously waiting for 3 weeks for the start of the season to see of they are going to cancel it or not.

We had a rookie wedding. Our band does one every year usually with eighth and seventh graders because they were considered high school band until next school year. (We aren’t marching 7th graders anymore)

I joined color guard March, at Meet The Band Night before quarantine happened. I learned how to do basic things like dropspins, dropstops and a routine over Zoom. I was so happy once we could do it in person

D R listen to others, bring PLENTY of water, and have fun. I'm a current hs senior (well kinda) and I miss band. 4 years flies by
Join percussion and don’t ask to be in drum line for freshman year
Lots of water, dont neglect sunscreen, dont eat milk products before competitions or big rehearsals/camps, make sure to eat breakfast no matter if you usually do or dont, have fun, and make sure to stretch or else you'll hurt yourself.

i marched this past season for the first time. (its my freshmen yr) i just made colorguard im happy i made it but im said bc my best friend who play flute with me tried out and didn’t make it. Also my fav section leader is graduating next yr so i wont be marching with him his last season😞
My season isn’t cancelled yet. I hope it doesn’t tho. I’m just waiting for July to happen. My states doing pretty well we’ve already flattened the curve soo. I’m going to my sophomore year switching from trumpet to Drumline (vibraphone/timpani).
