Wendy you sound so happy. I am glad you got your nook set up as you like it. So much creativity waiting for you. I agree the shelf was dark and heavy for the space. I am sure you will find the perfect space for it. Thank you for sharing your creative journey.
I always enjoy your visits with us. I am struggling with my creative space - have been for a while. it was good to see a tour of yours, but more so to hear your reasoning behind your set up. I hope your space brings your much joy and that you have a wonderful holiday!
I can’t relate much because I am a fibre artist…👑but just want to say happy u r wearing ur grey hair…people say woman look much older but u look great, u r simply beautiful ! 🧡🕊
You inspire me with your simplicity style of not complicated and not fancy art spaces, is what makes you a real artist when you set all at your reach when you are in the inspiration working road. Love it! Today you gave me the straight that I need for keep believing on what I love most .ART.You are wonderful woman! I AM SURE INSPIRATION FOR MANY OTHERS LIKE ME.
Really enjoyed a peek into your little corner and hearing your little stories. Having an art space set out with what you need at hand not put away means when you're inspired you can get stuck in straight away. Thank you for sharing Wendy.
My 5 year old granddaughter was with me a couple his week she had a need for glitter to make a glitter globe for her Mom. She said “ but Grandma you have a Art room!” Like duh? I was so touched that our little creative room held such magical properties as glitter. It made me rethink it he need for me to reorganize our Art room. The grandkids are always welcome with permission to sit at My Art table.
Luv it! To be honest I lost my mojo for quite a while.....but have loved watching & sharing your journey.....thank you so much for letting me be part of your experience, its kept me going in stressful times xxxxxxxxxxx
Wendy, the lights and a few drawings on the left “wall” of the nook was exactly what was needed. Balance, proportion, eye moves from the first light on the left to the last one on the right, and now takes in everything else! The canvases standing there, then the blank wall….it was bugging me but I didn’t know exactly why. What you’ve done has made the space look bigger, not smaller as you feared! The 3 “levels” work! The work surface, the added low shelf and the high shelf that frames the top of the space. I hope after using the space as it is now for a couple weeks you’ll be thrilled with the way it looks, and works now! I have rearranged my “sewing studio” too many times to count. Every time I hit on a few more good ideas, banish one or too, and stick with some that have always worked. As our work and creativity evolves, our space has to as well. The biggest ever overhaul of my creative spaces (mainly the sewing room, but I journal, read, collage in my bedroom, and hand stitching happens in a huge comfy chair in our family room) happened because of work that had to be done to our home. I had to empty the room completely, including the large closet . I can do a tiny bit of “art journaling or “wet work” on my cutting table, but prefer it outdoors,in open garage when weather permits & on my kitchen island when weather doesn’t permit. (I’m fortunate to have a huge garage and have some old kitchen cabinets that hold my fabric paints, sponges, brushes, etc.). I could relate to your sorting and organizing process, and the way you like your favorite supplies out & handy. One big question…..do you ever label anything? I put tags and labels on just about everything that gets tucked in a drawer unit (your “new” one is so cute), in a box or basket, or a plastic storage container. It is easy to scan for the container , verify with a glance at the tag, and then things get put back in their homes. I never write directly on containers, and avoid adhesive tags so I don’t wreck the containers. Then as my needs change, the tag goes with the stuff and the former container can house something new. This frees up my brain from having to remember where everything is. Enjoy your space, your painting, drawing, and art journals are all inspiring to me!
I always feel la bit naughty about it, but I love peeking into everyone’s nooks and crannies! Your little space is so adorable. Thanks for sharing with us.
I also love stepping into other artists Studios and having a look around! In this virtual age I'm happy to check out videos and photos on Instagram whenever someone wants to share.😁
I would love to see your dress up box! I enjoy having "Enchanted Tea Parties." I dress up, brew up a pot of herbal tea, and sit outdoors among the flowers, and sip away. I could easily imagine an Enchanted Art Journaling Party in dress up clothes!
OH BETSY!Isn't it so much fun!I'm just in from dancing on my balcony in a much wanted thunder and lightning storm in west Ireland and of course we had tea!I always have a dress up box(optional!)...fairywings glitter and top hats! With La Bella LUNA of course😊
BEST WISHES hope you are feeling well. I wanted to drop in and say "thank you" for your comment about tackling work like a school project. Something like that. I have been in a muddle. But I loved school and I loved school projects. So it really set me up... Ive got one of my journals and Ive started project pages so I get organised, collect information, costs etc and actually complete something!!! I have so many things that I would love to write about, create, offer for sale. But I was really struggling with the right lens. A school project planning and working through... it is a new exciting tool. p.s. You keep me company often. I suffer from panic attacks and so I put on one of your videos and have you in my space. It helps so much. Thank you for your work and light. x
I love your new work space. I use glass blocks from the 1980's to prop up shelves. I also use them as bookbinding weights. Not sure how easy they are to find anymore. I also cover tin cans and plastic with natural burlap using a glue gun. Sometimes I add a vintage lace border from an old tablecloth. I also use circular empty wooden cheese boxes from soft ripened cheeses for bits and bobs. Amazon also sells a verticle pencil stand. Space saving and sorts my color pencils handily. Love your channel. You are as beautiful as Audrey Hepburn with a dash of Isadora Duncan. Of course there is only one inspiring you!
You have been a great inspiration to me and you've motivated me to go back to my art, you are constantly churning out art, drawings, paintings.. I am going through a tough time at the moment and have had no choice but to hand in my notice, I will hardly have enough money to feed myself and I have been so wronged. I wish you lived in Yorkshire so that I could come round for a chat. Though you have problems, you still forge ahead like a giant iron train going where you must go. Thank you for being there, for me to be inspired by and giving me such hope. God Bless you Gypsy.
Hi Wendy, your sstudio is coming along just lovely. Organization is wonderful when you reach for something and it's there. Drives my head crazy when things are not where i can find them. When i paint im messy so it helps to have supplies in place. And your studio has a lovely ambiance. All that is sacred isn't it. 🎨 Alot of artist's need to create a room that has a magical spirt quality where we create and get lost in what we paint. And your studio has that it looks like as you fine tune it. Love your light!!!!!
Oh, YES, we'll want to see your dressing-up box! Thank you for being your authentic self and sharing all your wonderfulness with us!!! Love to you and James!
Looks and feels so lovely , I agree about not putting Pretty Brown shelf in Your Nook xxx I love how Your current Fairies are dancing along the walls , You could always glue pretty labels on those plastic bins of the things inside , would be sweet x ...hope You and James have a Magical HOLY-day xxx
Your studio nook looks wonderful! I love how you've organized everything so that is functional and yet still filled with light and magic! I'd really enjoy seeing your dress-up box, too.
Hello Wendy,i love your videos. There is something cosy about them i really love. That studio has something very special too,i don't know what it is,but i do know it has something cosy and beautiful about it. Maybe it's the bits and bobs, maybe the paintings and colours, just comfortable and lovely. Have a wonderful week🌻 Have a lovely holiday.
I love your cozy little art corner and getting to peek inside and see your bits and bobs. I would love to see your dress up box. I always love when you have a new video out and I have been working on cleaning up things on my desk, thanks for the inspiration.
Just lovely, I could watch and listen to you all day Wendy. I am not a painter but a bohoo / plant lover and love your style and ways. Thank you for creating a calming video to watch and enjoy 😉
Love it. I'm in the process of reorganising too. It is daunting, as I've moved from a studio and office space seperate, to both on the original studio space. It definitely still needs work as the computer portion is great, easel is too, but the art area is squashy. But I'm just grateful to have the space honestly and it won't be forever that I'm this squashed.
I have just reorganized my little room and now I am getting use to finding the things I have shifted. I love these creative spaces and love looking at the things artist have pinned up or arranged around them. Buttons and feathers, dried hydrangea flowers and grasses, little sketches and quotes, crystals and prisms. Bits of magic. Thank you for letting us prep into your books and crannies. Have a lovely holiday.xxx
I don’t know why, but when I find out someone I like is left handed the same as me I am extra thrilled to know them, lol. 💕 Thanks for this glimpse into your little nook. I always come away with some inspiration when you make your videos. Have an awesome and relaxing holiday.
Actually since you started with your studio makeover videos, I've been following along doing the same-- organizing and pitching out old stuff, moving the furniture to make for an airier space, getting a new bright red rug to animate my creativity and finally, yesterday, i hung purple and orange string lights. I wish I could post a picture. Anyway, this has prompted me to make art EVERY day, even if it is just doing one drawing in my sketchbook. I've already finished one painting. What a jump start! Thank you.
You gave me a few great ideas for my own space, it's still a major work in progress. I inherited most of my Dad's art supplies so I've been trying to create a proper nook to store and use both stashes of supplies. He always encouraged my art ever since I was a toddler. Btw, I, too, love Pre Raphaelite images, so inspiring and enchanting!! Always lovely to watch your videos!
I get so inspired by your videos and am going to ask my brother to put in a shelf above my table as that is such a good idea to have things accessible. I would love to see and hear more about your dressing up box. Have a wonderful vacation. Thank you so much for all your videos.
Always good to have a tidy up and organize. I have to do it on a regular basis as I make huge messes when I work especially when I'm doing journals or collage. Painting and drying is pretty straightforward and much easier to keep organized. My challenge is always that I have too little space to work in and store my items that I work with. No solution for that...just constantly going through my boxes and nooks and crannies and keeping them tidy. Have a wonderful holiday at the coast.d💙🌊🌊🌞 Hope the weather is good for you! Sending lots of aloha and warmth from Hawaii💖🌺🌈🙋♀️
I love it. I need all my stuff out too or I forget what I have. I would LOVE to see the dress up stuff🥰 Could you show your childhood books one day that inspired you? You are so fortunate that you were encouraged to be artistic. It's my biggest regret that I didn't fight harder to be me when I was young😊
Never too late loved one.Join a library and love it now or listen on audio,I live in Irelans, and after accident last year,I have a brain injury it's limiting. And now I get alotta children's books and I listen on audio...then you can add your own beautiful self to it,no regrets😉
I need to make a trip to the charity shop and freshen up my space, thank you Wendy for the inspiration! Especially with the seasons getting ready to change, I know I will be spending more time indoor! Enjoy your holiday ☺️
Your journalling nook seems a very inspiring place to sit and work, Wendy. Thanks for letting us take a look at all your treasures and tools. One question that popped up as you were talking about crayons and pencil sharpeners - do you use bog-standard sharpeners, or something more special? I can never seem to get a sharp point on any of my crayons, especially the Inktense and I wondered if I needed a special sharpener? And, I have been told you should change your sharpeners regularly as they go blunt quite quickly. I would value your opinion on this? I do hope you are enjoying the beach and the book and it is refilling your cup as you hoped. Much love to you and James xxx
I love love love your space and you have inspired me to refresh and organize my desk/art/study space. Love from Costa Rica. Always grateful for all you share. ❤️☺️🌸
What a wonderful art space. I enjoy seeing how you create, it inspires me. I started taking an art class when I retired and am enjoying playing with different things - pencil, water color and pastels. I also knit, sew and cross stitch. 😊
If this will help... I put my colour pencils in 6 cups by colour that are then placed on a lazy Susan tray that turns. I love it! Thanks for all the inspiration.
I watched this twice! First time as company whilst I was painting watercolour feathers. Second time to see what your nooks and crannies turned out like. It’s always such a privilege to see inside someone else’s creative space. Seawhites of Brighton are actually nowhere near the coast strangely enough ! I go there sometimes to buy art supplies and they’re on an industrial estate in a tiny village called Partridge Green in Sussex.Possibly they started off in Brighton and moved inland? They’re great for bargains and supplies it’s hard not to buy too much 😆🎨 Hope your holiday recharge is successful this time. Thanks for being such a kind soul and keeping us brimming with joy and light. Sending love and light your way sweetheart 🙏🏻💛🌼🌸⭐️
Hey Wendy, Being a fellow lefty, I get some things you said about keeping stuff on your left side. Like you I also lose so many things and am a total klutz and knock over or drop things constantly. Ah us, what are we to do?lol. We just keep on and most of the time it's just like that. Only occasionally do I just lose it or freak out, yet I know from my own experience that I 99% of the time find it-them. I love your art and journaling nook--it's so cool, cozy, and cute Nice job, Wendy. The art on your wall is just beautiful. I hope there is a sneak peek when you finish a journal any time as I just love your journals and get tons of inspiration. Glad to see energy has returned and I love your art studio. I had one studio and more recently even commandeered another room in the house which had kind of turned into a way station for anything and everything that had no place to go (like frames and luggage and shredder and box after box. Ugh. Finally I was doing a messy acrylic painting session and since we had 2 otherwise unoccupied and unused tables at the time (and let me tell you they are very busy now cause I said to them, "no sloth behavior guys, C'mon.")lol. Now, they are doing their jobs most days as I bring in supply after supply to do various things from journals to colorful watercolors and mixed media. So fun to mess up and for that 2nd room, just shut the door if I'm not done in there. Ha! ☺️☺️☺️ Hope You did have a wonderful weekend this weekend. XOXOJane
wendy- thankyou for your beautiful videos!!! i was wondering what kind of tape u use to tape your drawings to the wall above your desk? is it something that doesnt tear the paper after u take it off? 🖤🖤🖤
Hi, thank you for these lovely videos you make. I also utilise many baskets, jam jars and old jugs! I noticed the small gap to the right of your table. Have you considered putting a fake top on the table but cut it to fit right up to the window? It might give just enough extra space for that well earned cuppa and prevent spillage off the edge. Just an idea. Thank you for sharing all your ideas xx
Thankyou! ;) :)I love your thinking behind your organisation. Also I really love tge music you choose. I shazamed it on my phone and are now enjoying it along with other songs from the same band. 🤩😚😘
I *am* inspired to fix up my space - every time I watch one of your tidy ups or tours...then I go down into my space and lose all momentum at the overwhelming mess. But I am determined!! Thanks for the continuing push, Wendy dear.
Yes, yes and definitely yes! I love the way your “space” evolves. Thank you for sharing with us your set up. I have gleaned some lovely ideas from your video. Have a wonderful and relaxing vacation. 🥰🙋♀️
Great video I love your studio it oozes creative vibes. I was actually cleaning up my humble studio while watching/listening I even added gemstones, a candle and some incence to my main desk :D
Oh Dear it is Lovely I was just doing that today organizing stuff to be at had in my tiny space . Always inspiring dear Thank you so much for Sharing with us , Wishing you a Magical Holiday dear which you so deserve Love to you and James
Your mermaid painting would look lovely over your day bed. Even if it is not finished it is far enough along for you to hang it. It would make a lovely back drop for vlogging. Just a thought. :) Terri
Thank goodness for your Channel😍 It’s the Only one on You tube I LQQK forward to watching🤓 You make me Feel a little normal as an Artist because I have the same Struggles as you do. I can’t organize all my art supplies and need to have them around me. BUT WHEN The creative bug gets me I dive right into my creativity and I tend to make a huge mess while I work. I always feel bad that I do this,But once I Get the edge to create I just go with the flow and then it will take me days to put everything back in its place all over again and I kinda miss out on creating on those days I need to organize my art supplies. I live alone so When I say I need my supplies around me I’m not kidding if I’m in the living room I have stuff for me to grab and create if I’m in the kitchen on my table I have stuff there to create I don’t ever want to be without my tools to create one inspiration strikes for me I think it’s quite normal but for others I don’t think they understand I’m 53 years old and I have been this way since I was a child so seeing you Wendy here I feel like I am quite normal as an artist thank you so much for your beautiful videos are so inspirational♥️
Art flow sisters!!! I also feel the same! I kind of feel bad at the beginning of the mess making and once I surrender and embrace it the creativity really flows!!!! Enjoy your creating Heather!!! xxxxxxx thanks for keeping me company xx
Thank you for sharing your work space. I have been trying to get my space sorted. I have a couple plastic drawers ( 3 drawers in one) but I have one on each side under my desk. The things I use the most on right side, then college papers and this and that on left side. But still trying to get loads of stuff organized. My craft space is shared with my bedroom.
Thank you for this lovely peek into your studio. I have had to rearrange my space yet again hiding lots of stuff to make it look bigger as we are trying to sell our house. I used your shelf idea but used two little sets of wooden draws at each end so i have storage and the shelf. I hope you re-energize on your holiday. Take care x
I love how your nook is coming along. Thanks for sharing why you have set up your space like you have. In the near future I will be building a studio on the side of my house, you have inspired me to include an art journaling space. You are right putting things away kills the creative flow. ✨
Don't want to presume, but from what I can see your light seems to be shining brighter! Hope so! Have a lovely vacation!
Wendy you sound so happy. I am glad you got your nook set up as you like it. So much creativity waiting for you. I agree the shelf was dark and heavy for the space. I am sure you will find the perfect space for it. Thank you for sharing your creative journey.

So beautiful! Very Inspiring! Wishing you many creative productive hours in your new space!💙🙏🏽💙 Happy Camping!💜😎🕉
Really enjoyed a peek into your little corner and hearing your little stories. Having an art space set out with what you need at hand not put away means when you're inspired you can get stuck in straight away. Thank you for sharing Wendy.
Thank you sharing. You organized well with such a little space💕
My 5 year old granddaughter was with me a couple his week she had a need for glitter to make a glitter globe for her Mom. She said “ but Grandma you have a Art room!” Like duh? Thank you so much. I am planning to declutter my art jewelry studio as well as destash a lot of things.💕😊
It's lovely to see how other artists and crafters last out their spaces.
You are a wonderful wonderful being ❣️

GOD BLESS.
Your studio nook looks wonderful! I love how you've organized everything so that is functional and yet still filled with light and magic! I'd really enjoy seeing your dress-up box, too.
If you like you can put a mirror on that left side of the table, mirrors pretend to give more space, if you want 🙂 Greetings from Austria 🥰❤️

I love hearing about the special things from your past that have stayed with you, like the heart charm on the basket and your childhood books ✨💕
This has made me think i need more shelves and baskets now! Beautiful space 😍🥰
I am revamping my study/craft space/library as I listen to you and watch your tour. You are an inspiration!
I love your cozy little art corner and getting to peek inside and see your bits and bobs. I would love to see your dress up box. I always love when you have a new video out and I have been working on cleaning up things on my desk, thanks for the inspiration.
I use a few reader’s digest books to prop my desk shelf up. Books come in handy for so many things! 😀
TFS Wendy! Love a functional organized space that's useful not just aesthetic. Great job! My fave are the lights & shelves.
Just lovely, I could watch and listen to you all day Wendy. I am not a painter but a bohoo / plant lover and love your style and ways. Thank you for creating a calming video to watch and enjoy 😉

This makes me think I should put a shelf above my craft table. Thank you 💖
Thank you for letting me see your materials and organization.
I get so inspired by your videos and am going to ask my brother to put in a shelf above my table as that is such a good idea to have things accessible. I would love to see and hear more about your dressing up box. Have a wonderful vacation. Thank you so much for all your videos.
Your little space looks wonderful! Have a great and relaxing time on your holiday!
thank you mermaid xxx
Thank you for the shelf idea, tomorrow morning I will be scouring the shed for bricks and a shelf and pinch your idea.
Totally and it's doesn't need to cost much at all, which helps alot during these times!!! xxxx and thank you!
Great look! I always love rearranging my creative space. ❤️
Your studio is lovely and well organized. The lights and plant babies add sooo much. ❤️👍
Yay Koh-i-noor, a brand from my country. I love their watercolour pencils! 🇨🇿💁🏻♀️
If this will help... I put my colour pencils in 6 cups by colour that are then placed on a lazy Susan tray that turns. I love it! Thanks for all the inspiration.
So Cute Wendy! I've been looking up Boho decor a lot lately! Love it! Thank You so much! This is going to help me immensely!💃💞
Bravo 👏😃it’s a lovely little nook! I think you did a nice job. I hope it wil inspire you to create beautiful artwork❤️🌹🌹🌹
Wow. You're always full of energy. I can find inspiration here.. Keep up spreading positivity, happiness and love!
gosh! hahah! no not really!!! much loves to you xxxx
@@theunexpectedgypsy thanks for replying. I'm your big fan
Thank you Wendy. It was a treat to see your new space and to see you so energised. Have a lovely holiday.
Ha! ☺️☺️☺️
Hope You did have a wonderful weekend this weekend. XOXOJane
I love the sound of your second room Jane, just perfect!!!
Happy place is nice, it is good for new paintings! Have a wonderful vacation with your James! Louise xxx!
Thank you Louise, xxxx will do, and thanks for always keeping me company in here!!! xxxx
wendy- thankyou for your beautiful videos!!! i was wondering what kind of tape u use to tape your drawings to the wall above your desk? is it something that doesnt tear the paper after u take it off?
I am going to reorganise my space, toot suite! 🙂
Love the fish mobile🐟🐟🐟
Thankyou! ;) :)I love your thinking behind your organisation.
Thanks for posting your studio space
Yes, yes and definitely yes! I love the way your “space” evolves. Thank you for sharing with us your set up. I have gleaned some lovely ideas from your video. Have a wonderful and relaxing vacation. 🥰🙋♀️

Your mermaid painting would look lovely over your day bed. Even if it is not finished it is far enough along for you to hang it. It would make a lovely back drop for vlogging. Just a thought. :) Terri
aww thank you xxx she's not quite ready but I think a nice spot for her indeed! xxxx thank you x
Loved this one ❤ My sister had that Stories of the Arabian Nights book ❤
I can very much relate to wanting to keeping my supplies visible. If I don’t see it, I don’t use it. The tray system is brilliant!
I’m a old Montessori teacher and everything has to have a home for practical life
Thank you for this lovely peek into your studio.
Lovely space for creating!
