      I went to the doc and of course they gave me drugs that's all they can do. It wasn't until I got a shiatsu massager that I started to heal. No amount of foam rolling, work with a massage ball, theracane, or anything really helped. Only two things, heat with a heating pad and shiatsu massager. SImply resting and applying heat will not heal the muscles. You need massage. I now firmly believe in the power of massage. I will be going to a human masseuse to get the rest of the kinks out that the massager couldn't get.

      @@johnames6430 I had to do more research as I just wanted to stop having them rather than manage them. It's the food that causes them, I cut out bananas as the potassium gets your nerves excited which causes migraines and also eggs and milk. Its been 12 months and not one migraine, it's the longest I've ever gone without one. Watch what the health on nefix explains alot on that documentary.

    when I have some mix of headaches after a periodization of abdominal training(a lot of crunches) that contains a lot o spinal flexion and a lot of neck stress, what can I do? I do some abs training from an app and then when I make regular chest training but with some stress on the trapezius zone and the break down come , some savage headaches . Now I have headaches when I train more intense, but the pain is still there. I make medical research,but nothing.

      I was in similar situation due to ab crunches. I will suggest, try to find your trigger points and work on them for several times a day for few weeks. It took me months to get mine and I'm still working on them. I feel much better though.

      It might be migraine. It’s also related to life style and food choices. Try to have a nice sleeping schedule and star writing down everything you eat - you may find out that you have them after eating certain foods. Exercising may help as well. I found some of my headaches were TMJ related, go to your dentist and ask him to check it. Good luck!

      Mate it’s a migraine, if tablets don’t work you need sumatriptan or the brand name imigran. It’s the only thing that will help a migraine apart from resting in a dark room. I have headaches every day of my life and when I have a migraine imigran is the only thing that will help. Also go see a proper sports physio they will help get the knots out

      @TheStrengthNU  2 місяці тому

      Sorry to hear about your excruciating headache! If there's an experienced registered massage therapist in your area, it's worth going in to get some work done to help with the immediate pain. Are you able to identify why your traps have so much tension?

    • @INTJames
      @INTJames 2 місяці тому

      @@TheStrengthNU only thing that got rid of the headache was following this video using a muscle hook, it's still recurring every day since last week and got so bad that I was dripping sweat, nauseous, and couldn't concentrate on anything which made me think it was accessory nerve entrapment, worse than any migraine I've ever had. I have an appointment with a massage therapist today but not sure if a PT would be any better or not.
      I train 6x a week and the only new thing I've done is add more sets focused on upper mid traps/rear delts. I've never had a problem training rear delts but upper mid traps feel like it's where something is trapped or something.

    Hello, my name is Andrew. I'm a 19 year old college student. I have been battling daily headaches and muscle tension for over a year. I have tried everything from brain scans to chiropractor to allergy testing. Currently trying Atlas Orthogonal. I'm about 4 adjustments in and haven't gotten any relief. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas please respond to this comment. Thank you so so much.

      maybe a nutritionist or someone who can test ur hormone levels could help. You could have a deficiency or maybe thyroid problem. Plus we lack lots of vitamins and very important ones being iron, and magnesium. We just dont get what we need from food anymore ...these are only new ideas of suggestion. if its not something happening structurally like scoliosis, maybe its caused by cervical (neck)arthritis or a pinched nerve. maybe its something postural, like the way you hold your head or sit or if your shoulders are rolled forward -- postural distortions need to be corrected. I'm a massage therapist and work with a chiropractor as well. We have a machine that does spinal decompression which is essentially slow stretching of the spine to help alleviate the pressure on the vertebrae and assist in compressed fluids to flow(not surgical just a stretching machine) That maybe something new to research tho. Good luck to you, I suffer from migranes too, some days I simply have to smoke myself stupid and sleep it off until my muscles chill out and relax and then my kinks in my neck and body start to "pop" and my migrane goes away.
